“okaaaay sierra madre pop awwwwfff! bartendies are ????⛰️⛰️ so cozy. 1940s music. always a food truck. isn't freezing fkn cold inside like most places. generous amt of heaters out in the garden in the winter. easy street parking. dog friendly. straight out of stars hollow. gilmore girl gang rise up, this is your new hangout.“
“What an extremely pleasant surprise of a small restaurant. I mean the food was fantastic (tried the kebab sampler and the kofta appetizers; and my date and I just fell in love with the place). I really can't say enough about how delicious this place is. Nice outside seating on the sidewalk. The wait staff checked on us frequently but also gave us time to enjoy our food and date.“
“purposely came due to the nostalgic aspect of it being in the movie Halloween III. super cool vintage vibe just like from the Tom Atkins scene in the movie. great beers on tap and clean bathroom. bartender had a very nice British accent and was very accommodating. a buddy of mine was with me and we got to hang out with some of the bar regulars. they shared stories about the area and gave us some real nice recommendations in regards to film locations. we took some pics with the bartender and regulars before making our way to the famous church from the movie THE FOG. definitely stop by and grab some drinks if you're in the area !!“
“Went here on a whim! Nice place, lots of seating, pleasant staff :) I got a vanilla lavender latte. The staff uses a la marzocco, would love to ask where they source their beans next time I go. The merchandise is nice, lot of coffee equipment“
“Didn’t expect much other than some good crepes for brunch when besties suggested checking this cafe out for brunch, but boy … what a lovely surprise! This could be one of the best brasseries in LA. Easily one of the best baguettes & best bouillabaisse I’ve ever had in LA. The bouillabaisse is comparable to the good ones in Cassis! Of course, crêpes & French onion soups & baguette sandwiches were excellent too! Total hidden gem of LA!Service could be a bit on French mode at peak hours, so if you are in a rush, please mention it to staff or order ahead for takeout. I like quality slow food and wanted a chill brunch, so it was perfect. Street parking only.“
“The location of this Starbucks is great. The atmosphere and people are what really counts here. If you are a coffee connoisseur, then skip. None of their coffees are good. They are either too bitter or acidic or over roasted. If you like their other engineered drinks with sweetners and flavors, then it's a good place to get a sweet fix. The portions in general keep getting smaller and smaller.“
“Love this place for their Carrot ? Cake! Please do make an option to sell your icing that is used for the carrot cake. I'm sure even when made in small amounts for sale, that people would buy them with a fair price.I appreciate all your hard work and happy holidays.“
“This is my favorite restaurant in Sierra Madre! Hands down! Love the new items on their menu! Last night we had the crispy brussel sprouts, garlic spicy edamame, avocado roll with sesame seeds, garlic noodles, steak fried rice and pineapple burger! Everything was absolutely delicious! And cant forget about the pineapple pomegranate spicy margarita as well! Love love this place! And the staff is amazing as well“
“We celebrated my mom's birthday by doing a surprise breakfast for her. They were able to accommodate our party and plus a few extra last minute add ons. They ade sure our coffee cups were never empty, the food came out to us hot and without mistakes. Everything was yummy! They even sliced the cake with brought. So appreciate their service with a smile!“
“In the quaint, clean and old town of Sierra Madre lays one of the best diners in town. Actually, it’s the only diner in town. The rest are pubs, pizza, places, Taquerias, coffee, shops, and vintage stores! The service was fantastic. Here, you feel like people know you and love you even though, you only see them when driving through town once in a blue moon. It is mostly old folks in here which is great because I will be an old person sooner rather than later myself! Also, it’s nice to be around human beings that are talking to each other, and chewing slowly, instead of taking pictures of their food, as I have done here, or even worse taking selfies And watching TikTok videos instead of paying attention of the person across the table from themselves. The price of the food is reasonable for the environment and service provided in this wonderful and magical place. My coffee cup was cracked and spilled on the table and still, I give this place five stars because they replaced the cup, and my experience continued to be top-notch Regardless. Will I be back? Most definitely. Probably when I’m 90 years old.“
“I went to Casa Del Rey in Temple City for years and loved it. This one did not disappoint. As a vegan it is difficult to order and yet our server Melissa made it easy. I had a veggie taco and wonder refried beans. Both were delicious. I will certainly return.“
“best pizza by far, kinda dont like that its small and cant eat there because someone is already eating there. Mostly get it to go but their cashiers are always quick and attentive to my orders. The calzones are fire, the cookies too are bomb. Best pizza this and pasadena pizza co.“
“Came here for a late lunch. Service was prompt. We had the falafel side, chipotle chicken wrap, and gyro lamb plate. Everything was delicious! The portions were large and plenty of meat and veggies, so it feels healthy. Would definitely go back.“
“Let's dive into a cozy little gem in town, Tacos Ensenada. This spot may seem small at first glance, with only three tables tucked inside, which does make it a bit snug. It's perhaps more suited for grabbing a bite on the go, especially since one of the tables seems more like a spot for waiting on takeout rather than dining in. But don't let that deter you; the charm of this place lies beyond just the seating arrangement. For those taco enthusiasts among us, Tacos Ensenada shines on Taco Tuesday and Taco Thursday, offering tempting deals that are hard to pass up. A personal favorite of mine is the Al Pastor tacos – a flavor-packed choice that's a must-try for anyone visiting. Now, a little tip on parking: it's a bit of a unique setup. I recommend heading over to Memorial Park first, then make your way from East to West to enter the parking area. This little detour might seem like a bit of extra effort, but believe me, the tacos at the end of the journey make it all worthwhile. In essence, Tacos Ensenada is the perfect spot for those looking for delicious tacos without the fuss. It's about the simple pleasure of enjoying good food, even if it means eating it somewhere else. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to give it a try – especially on their special taco days for an extra treat.“
“Well I know what's going to be my new acai bowl place!! I finally tried one of their bowls today and it was absolutely delicious! It tasted super fresh and use cappahaden Coconut they used was like kind of chewy which was so yummy on the top. The service is a little bit slower than your usual asahi bowl place but I didn't mind too much because the food was fantastic! I will definitely be back! And even better it's only like 7 minutes away from my house!“
