Been awhile since I visited Casa Del Rey. Met up with some friends for Happy Hour and Taco Tuesday. The Happy Hour Margaritas were good, you could tell they had tequila in them. The Taco Tuesday deal was any taco for $1 off, I had the beef and they were fully loaded and good. Our server, Yalda, was awesome. She was friendly and attentive even though she had a bunch of tables to take care of.
I was surprised to see any reviews less than five stars. The food at Casa Del Rey has always been phenomenal every time and I would consider myself a tough critic. It's usually very busy but food has always come out reasonably fast even when we go during their busiest hours. The waiters hustle and you can tell. Ambiance is always lively and a great place to take your family.

I went to Casa Del Rey in Temple City for years and loved it. This one did not disappoint. As a vegan it is difficult to order and yet our server Melissa made it easy. I had a veggie taco and wonder refried beans. Both were delicious. I will certainly return.
