Hiatus= opportunity for another stop in the LAtte tour. Today’s pilgrimage finds me in Sierra Madre at Syndicate, a fantastic find nestled comfortably downtown on Sierra Madre Blvd. Plenty of street parking and a beautiful place to take a stroll if you don’t score a spot immediately out front. This is my favorite spot to get coffee and pastries.
The pastries are delicious and made from scratch. I always order their seasonal flavors because whoever comes up with the ideas for the seasonal pastries is a genius. The flavor, texture, and presentation are all amazing. 🥰
The coffee is delicious too, and the staff is always friendly. They also have a rewards program, so you can get a free pastry or coffee every once in a while.

I learned about this coffee shop from my daughter who is a regular there. The staff were great. The latte was delicious. There is a vintage store that's about to open up very nearby as well. It's a good place to check out once it opens. We walked by and the owner let us walk through while it was still being set up. My daughter usually gets food at the syndicate as well and she loves it!

Based on the reviews, Syndicate is a favorite spot for coffee and pastries. The pastries are delicious and made from scratch, with seasonal flavors that are amazing in flavor, texture, and presentation. The coffee is delicious too, with options like a great mocha and a unique “mood ring” choice. The staff is always friendly, cool yet unpretentious, and very helpful. The customer service is welcoming and warm. The location offers a mountain view and is near a vintage store. There is not too much seating, and it gets packed. The place is not super quiet, with some noise, but people study or read there. They have lunch items besides beverages and bakeries. However, the pork chile verde burrito was very salty. Overall, it is easily the best coffee bakery combo in the LA area, with good tunes and a happy vibration.
