“I'm here just about every other weekend to get takeout for the family. The Indian flavors really come through in an exciting way. The rotisserie chicken is one of the best I've found in LA, and it's not even the best chicken on the menu. Anything with beans are a must-have.“

“The owners were the sweetest and answered questions quickly. I loved the space so much I ended up talking to Amber since the place is so obviously carefully curated. If you have the time I would definitely recommend stopping by! I chose the ruby apple and chamoy gummy bears and it was perfectly sour for me!! They do everything they can in house including creating their own chamoy recipe and it is absolutely delicious!! I ordered Nopales & Eggs, my brother ordered French Toast & Eggs with sausage and bacon. The food was so fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to try the other items on the menu. The service was very friendly and attentive. Marko came and introduced himself. He gave us a brief talk on how they pride themselves on serving fresh and authentic food. Recipes from the abuelita. “Haidilao Hot Pot is an experience. The service is amazing (free snacks while you wait, super attentive staff), and the hot pot is fully customizable with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The hand-pulled noodle show is a fun bonus too. I like that you can customize your sauce and they have really good jelly for dessert.“

“We went to the Newport Beach location a couple of weeks ago. This was my first time ordering an acai bowl. The staff was very helpful and patient when I was building my bowl. Overall, from the time we walked in to the time we left, the staff was extremely friendly and nice.“

“The food is absolutely outstanding, we have had amazing avocado toast, an equally delicious egg sandwich, and a fantastic breakfast burrito. Also recommend the fried potatoes if you like crispy potatoes. The DJ is a great touch. Oh, and most importantly, the coffee is very very good. Serious Black is a delicious pour over that they never tell you they are too busy to make. Espresso drinks are delicious as well!“

“Favorite Sichuan restaurant in California! Definitely the most authentic Sichuan food I’ve ever had in the states (yes I’m from Sichuan so take my word for it lol)
We live in the Bay Area, but whenever we’re visiting LA, we go to this place because of the great taste.
We ordered rabbit, beef and beef. The portions were HUGE. Every dish was flavorful, and it’s amazing that they picked seasonal vegetables to complement the flavor of the meat in each dish. And the spiciness is really close to what I had back at home in Sichuan. The chengdu fried rice(this should be the name if I remember it correctly) is also very good, not oily at all.
The restaurant owner is also very nice and she told us the rabbit meat is fresh from the butcher shop everyday, which sets this restaurant apart from others. (Well, this is the only restaurants in the states that I have ever been to that serves rabbit on the menu, so I really appreciate that)

“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “I was drawn to this boba shop because of its high ratings and very reasonable prices! Located inside Chubby Cattle, you don’t need to dine at the restaurant to order here.

Here’s what I tried:

Osmantheous Oolong Milk Tea with Boba (less sugar, less ice): This was fantastic! The tea-forward flavor was exactly how I like my milk tea, and the boba had just the right texture—not too chewy and not overly sweet. I’d definitely order this again.

Strawberry Oolong Tea (less sugar, less ice): A little on the sweeter side for my taste, but still a great deal at just $2.99.

To my surprise, they were running a buy-two-get-one-free special during Christmas week! The third drink that was part of the promotion was an Iced Strawberry Matcha, which was quite sweet but still a nice addition to the experience.

“Our favorite Ethiopian restaurant in Southern California! This is our go to restaurant and have been coming here for years. The food is always delicious!

Our go to dishes are the Regular Tibs, Atkilt, Kik Wot, and Gomen, they are perfectly cooked and seasoned each time. The injera is also delicious, we can’t get enough!

“I recently tried Chubby Skewers and overall had a pretty good experience. They have a great selection of meats, and at $1.20 per skewer, it’s easy to try a variety without spending too much.

That said, some of the meats were a bit on the tougher side, which took away from the experience a little. But not everything was a miss, the grilled oysters and scallops were definitely highlights and tasted really good.

I also liked that you can order from the menu if you want something more than skewers. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re looking for variety at a reasonable price, with a few standout items worth coming back for.“

“We had a wonderful experience at Yashima. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared, and everything we ordered tasted amazing. The sushi and sashimi were especially high quality. The atmosphere felt authentic and cozy, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s clear they take pride in their food. We will definitely be coming back!“

“The sushi here was excellent. The rice in the two rolls had a hint of yuzu that really elevated the flavor. Yuzu can sometimes be overpowering, but the chef used it perfectly to enhance the overall taste. It really brought the entire roll together. I especially enjoyed the Crunchy Albacore Roll—the balance of flavors was spot on.
The chirashi bowl was also plentiful and a great value for the price. The fish was very fresh, but the standout part was the rice. I’ve honestly never had sushi rice quite like this before. In addition to the classic vinegary sushi rice flavor, there was a subtle hint of yuzu that added an extra layer of freshness. When paired with the fish, it made the whole experience feel even more elevated.
If you come between 5:00 and 6:30, they offer 15% off during happy hour, which makes the experience even better.

“Loved my first experience at One Tea - Every sip of my tea was delicious, the staff were phenomenal, and I adore their space-themed decor! I stopped by on my way to my fave nail salon across the street and definitely intend to make this my pre-pedicure drink stop from now on.

They have quite a large menu with various teas, milk teas, coffees, matcha concoctions and other non-caffeine options. I was struggling a bit to choose but the lovely staff came to my rescue. He helped me select a tea base for my milk tea that would compliment the popping barley I was wanting and his recommendations were spot on!

I ended up going with the One Tea Signature Blend as a milk tea per his recommendation - it’s a combo of black tea, barley and cassia and had a lovely roasty flavor that perfectly complimented the popping barley. I also opted for a creme brulee top since I was in the mood for a sweet treat and it hit the spot!

Their popping barley is spectacular - it’s got pieces of soft, tasty roasted barley inside tiny pearls of sweet liquid. It’s a great chewy treat and pairs well with any of the more roasty type teas. I also opted for 50% sweetness and it was perfect. I love that they let you adjust the sugar and ice levels.

I had fun looking around their spacey shop while they made my tea! They have a galaxy paint job on the floors with starry lights in the ceilings and a really cool moon seat in the back that’s perfect for the Gram lol. Really fun decor and a great vibe - very conducive to hanging out and enjoying their delightful drinks.

Prices are on par for the area. Parking is free street parking and ample in the surrounding area but there’s also a free (albeit time-limited) lot across the street behind the businesses.

One Tea is an excellent addition to the milk tea scene here and I’m looking forward to enjoying the popping barley again with my next pedicure!“

“I haven’t been here for a while and had a craving for the Chilaquiles. I knew they added a new Mole salsa so I called to order that to go. I was told they also have a chipotle sauce, so I went with that instead. When I got home, OH MY GOSH!! Those were the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had with the Chipotle sauce. They were so good I’m embarrassed to say I lick the plate clean🥴. And of course the churros were amazing as usual.“

Though there was a slight wait (we ordered 2 tostadas, 1 serving of taquitos [2], 1 burrito, & 3 tacos), the customer service was swift and kind. The flavor of the food wasn't anything insane, but I liked it just fine and they let you have as many salsa as you want. They don't skimp on cheese and the other toppings.
