“A Delightful Sushi Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The sushi was outstanding—fresh, expertly crafted, and beautifully presented. The chef’s special sashimi, were bursting with flavor. The nigiri was a standout, with perfectly seasoned rice and melt-in-your-mouth fish. Service was impeccable; the staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They even made excellent recommendations based on my preferences. One thing to note: Fillet doesn’t have a liquor license yet, so if you’re someone who enjoys pairing sushi with sake or wine, this might be a consideration. They said it’s coming soon, I can’t wait to come back here again.”

“If you have not had the chance to dine in at Girasol, I highly recommend it. The chicharon with guac is a must as a starter, make sure you get some of the spicy sauce. As for a recommendation for a meal, well you have to come in and try. We loved the chilaquiles, the carne en su juego, the menudo, and the breakfast burrito. If you have a sweeter taste, the French toast, the pancakes and the crepe are awesome. But as mentioned before, you just have to come in and try everything.”

“I actually ordered their chicken and waffle for breakfast and not thinking this can be that great (because I didn't choose this place but my mom did 😬). However, to my surprise, the Belgium waffle was huge and has a very good texture with a special dough. And Man, that chicken thigh is something else! I love that chicken was marinated first, then fired (or baked) so it's juicy and not dry at all! Not to even mention the Hispanic servers there can speak Chinese so that's why they can draw my mom back (and now me)! 🤣 👏 Bravo Nano Cafe 👏”

I ordered a mixta tostada and the fish was too chunky. They also added ketchup on it! The tostada was not good. Shrimp was fresh! We will not be coming back.”

“One of my favorite Taiwanese restaurants in the area. The food here is incredibly authentic, with flavors that remind me of traditional Taiwanese home cooking. Their roasted duck is especially outstanding. Perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy inside. The service is always friendly and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Definitely a place I keep coming back to and highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Taiwanese cuisine.”

“Dulce Cielo in Monrovia is something special. This is my wife’s absolute favorite chai...and trust me, that means something. She drinks only chai and has sampled pretty much every chai in Monrovia and beyond. This is 'the one'

I walk a mile round trip every single day just to get it for her. That alone should tell you a lot.

So what makes Dulce Cielo different? Everything. Their chai isn’t some powdered mix scooped from a container and drowned in hot milk. It’s completely handmade by the owners themselves. This is a carefully tested work of art. The flavors are deliberate, balanced, and thoughtful. You can taste the care, time, and intention in every sip.

Beyond the chai, the creativity here is incredible. I’ve tried several of their other drinks and every one has been amazing...especially the horchata and coffee blend, which is next-level good. A friend of ours once mentioned a specific chocolate she loved, and the owners literally went out and sourced it just for her. That’s the kind of place this is.

And don’t even get me started on the cupcakes and pastries. Inventive, beautiful, and mind-blowingly creative. Nothing feels mass-produced. Everything feels loved.

“I Love the food. But I hate it. When my foods delayed i ordered a colossus burger, which is a pastrami hamburger. That's what the older taker told me it was. Then they made the food and they only gave me a hamburger. I only paid for a hamburger. As I sat there and waited about 8 minutes for them to make the food.They expected me to wait an additional eight minutes and pay them a 2 75 3 75. For their miss up and wait, you think I wanted to wait my food was hot in my hand what's wrong with the order taker? He spoke perfectly good English. I know he understood me.I also speak Spanish, so there's no reason for him to miss up my order.I was disappointed and it wasn't a nice day to be disappointed”

“This place serves Sichuan style Chinese cuisine. Highly recommended. They operate more on food to go but has a small space for 14 diners. Paying in cash expedites service by a lot.

I ordered their Kung Pao Chicken and Fish in Black Bean Sauce. It was served fresh and hot, with steamed rice. Kung Pao Chicken was meaty and really has a good balance of flavors and spiciness. The Fish in Black Bean Sauce was soft, flaky, saucy and not too salty to taste.

Food was served at almost in an instant, around 5 mins from ordering. The serving is very generous, good for 2-3 people for 1 order (see photo), depending on your appetite. For the food price ranged around $10+, it is a steal. Customer service is nice and the lady is very quick on her feet.

Plenty of parking outside. No restrooms though. Come here with an empty stomach and bladder.

I would return here next time to try their Hot Pot, Spicy Chicken Nuggets and Mapo Tofu. 🌶🍛”

“Alitalia Pizza is literally the only place we pick up pizza! The crust is delicious as is their sauce and fresh ingredients, definitely different than your average pizza. They also have many other options and we often order a salad on the side. Their salads are large and always, consistently fresh. They don’t cut corners and the owners and staff could not be more accommodating and delightful! Great local business to support and a hidden gem if you have not tried it!”

Our standard order is Fish burritos, nachos, and papas tacos. It is always very good, but tonight was out of this world. Wow! I will always suggest Baja Mar to anyone looking for the best Mexican food in LA. Keep up the great work, this is very very delicious food!”

I ordered their marinated short rib bowl and I added extra proteins of spam, an egg and chicken with no rice, all salad. It was a phenomenal lunch overall. The flavor was definitely there. It was definitely pricey after I added all the extras, but still worth it.

I was craving carne asada, but great carne asada not the bland stuff you find at most places. They city we live in DOES NOT have a single place that satisfies our taco and burritos craving. We found this place by chance and it did not disappoint. Trust the 5 star reviews. They're telling the truth. Although this is a 30-40 minute drive from home, we will gladly make the drive for this food. Oh and the horchata is the best!”

Not your typical walk in and order or go through the drive thru, it was more of like a small stand that you can drive by, or you could walk up to, but they had outdoor seating. It seemed like it'd be a great place to hang out. Unfortunately we couldn't stay, because we had a busy work schedule while we're were there. But maybe in the future, if I find myself in the area, I will definitely go back and "take a load off fanny" and hang out.”

I retired a few years ago and visit a different Baja Fresh that is near a business I go to every few months...the taste hasn't changed in all that time. “I wanted to write a review of the arepa I had!It appears to be that there is no set location for this food vendor, but their business is registered at the Monrovia City Hall because they sell at the Farmer's Market on Friday evenings.Firstly, really delicious!My arepa had shredded beef, with panela cheese, mixed veggies, and maduros (fried banana).Soooo good!Real authentic arepa.The shredded beef was seasoned perfectly, warm and juicy, but not overwhelming nor drenching. The panela had a good al dente rubber feeling to it, which was not hard and not too soft. Alongside the fresh spinach and lettuce and warm starchy fried banana slices. Everything within a warm maize dough bread.It's all sooo good!5/5”

The food is always fresh, and the chicken fingers are made high quality chicken, and are breaded and seasoned just right. They have a very affordable menu as well.”
