I don't know what kind of stock they use for the gravy but the flavor is phenomenal. A little on the salty side but not too bad when you spread it out over the fries. The portion size is also massive

The smokiness of the pastrami is good but it is really salty. I don't know if it's the pastrami itself or the au jus but the salt overpowers the rest of the flavor.“

“I used to live the Hat, but they've changed the flavor for a while now. Their chili is a little spicy. I used to always recommend them. I know a lot of people who don't like chili. They used to be one place I would highly recommend because it used to NOT be spicy. People who like spice will say it is not spicy. And people who can get sick from it being spicy will say it is spicy. It's too bad. I'll still give them 4 stars but never again 5 until they go back to what it used to taste like.“

“Celiac friendly. I'm very cautious of where I order for my son. This place has been by far the best. I went in today for a GF sub for a celiac and they did an amazing job at not only making sure it was safe to prepare the sub but also used ingredients from the back to avoid cross contamination. Super grateful to the staff who helped us today and knew what Celiac was. Thanks again you guys!

“Although Subway makes their own bread, I think JM has them beat. Not just because they slice ham, so what. We aren’t in the south of Spain, it’s deli ham but good. I’m a big guy and although I could destroy a regular size, do the mini. It gets cut in half and it’ll save some dollars. Also the rosemary bread is a yummy addition to a regular sandwich. “I happened to see one of these on the way to my hotel and it reminded me of the shops they had in Sac. Grabbed a grilled pork bahn mi for lunch with some egg rolls to share. “I placed an order on Tuesday with Derek for delivery due to possible new customers coming on Thursday to tour our offices and warehouse. The food was to be delivered by 11:30am on Thursday but then on the day they were to arrive, I got the news that their flight at LAX didn't even land till 11:30am! I called JM and spoke to a sweet gal who told me her manager Ashley was actually on her way to deliver the food to us! I asked her if she could call Ashley and ask that the food be delivered later so that the sandwiches are fresh for our potential customers. I apologize, I think the gals name started with K, she called Ashley right away and stopped the delivery for me! And then Ashley later brought us fresh sandwiches closer to the time the visitors were to arrive. “Got me a small coffee, chocolate chip muffin. I purposely bought the regular (house) coffee so I can savor the muffin. The lady was nice to warm it up for me. Gooey chocolate chip and the moistest chocolate muffin I have ever had. Not too sweet it hit the right spot. I also got the Candy Bacon D’Crave to go.

The only way to make this sub better is to add some grilled onions. “I remember getting some pretty good bánh mì to take on a flight several years ago, but didn’t know from which establishment. I came here today and it felt very familiar. I’m pretty certain this was the place.

We took advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free deal for the round bread bánh mì. We had the Saigon special, grilled pork and grilled beef. We actually asked for the meatball bánh mì, but they got our order wrong and gave us the grilled beef instead, which we didn’t realise until we got home. However, the sandwiches were still tasty; the meat was well seasoned and the bread had enough bite without being tough.

A decent place if you fancy some bánh mì. Takeout only.“

I'm only rating this review four stars because their Big Kahuna did not have any mushrooms as it's supposed to, (and very little onions, peppers and jalapeños).
