“This was a pit stop on the way to the Bay Area from Palm Springs. I’m a veggie and so it was great to see good choices of tacos - potato, cauliflower and brusel sprout here. They were all delicious and of the highest quality but the brussels were a standout. Definitely worth a detour off the freeway!! Service was also the best.“
“Delicious and perfect. Everything I could ever ask for in a meal. We accidentally interrupted the employees' lunch but they were sweet and welcomed us in. Birria tacos and chicken flautas were delicious. Will be dreaming about the birria.“
“The place have been on my tagged list to try and I finally dropped in for lunch with my aunt and stuffed ourselves silly with yummy food & fabulous drinks. HIGHLY recommend!FOOD: They have reasonable lunch specials available from which we ordered the chicken enchiladas & al pastor street taco. Both were great & very tasty. I also had a craving for chilaquiles so we ordered that off the regular menu and my cravings were very well satisfied. We forgot to order the highly recommended shrimp empanadas but that’s a perfect excuse for us to go back soon!DRINKS: I mean they are truly one of the highlights of our meal. The signature “La Sexy Michelada” was one of the best I’ve had. It literally had a whole half of a mango seasoned with chamoy & tajin balanced on a tamarind candy stick in a large glass mug liberally rimmed with chamoy & tajin. The michelada itself was perfectly made IMHO. My aunt ordered the Margarita Flight and she thought every single one was delicious & unique. Her personal fave was the cucumber margarita & mine was the mango margarita.“
“Phenomenal food and amazing service!! Ivan was so kind and generous and he made our first time there a really great one. They don't skimp on the meat and the consome is the best! The birria burrito was my favorite and we'll definitely be back for more!“
“I tried this restaurant 3 times before writing an honest review; so here’s the true… great food, great service the customer service is friendly and fast! I order the food to go and my drive is over an hour but they are careful to pack it in a way that keeps great until my destination. Great job ?“
“The service was great. Ate outside on the sidewalk. Really nice with friends. Wonderful conversation. Ordered shredded beef with eggs, rice, and beans. Enjoyed it, nothing spectacular. Will go back to try something else. Eating outside is the real draw. Small restaurant, fills up fast.“
“Out first time there, we loved it. The service and food were excellent. The show stealer was the guava cheese rolls...I never thought I would say this, but Portos Bakery is no longer my go to for gauva cheese rolls. The rolls were FILLED with guava and cheese and were FRESH.“
“My partner and I continuously pick up dinner here. We have tried just about everything: wet burrito, torta, tacos, quesobirria tacos, chicken quesadilla, hot dog, even the champurrado! Alllll of it is delicious and always HITS. The owners know us pretty well by now and are always so sweet to everyone. 10/10“

“The food is good. Price is good. Customer service is wonderful!! I will definitely come back here. Update- came back here ordered the wet burrito this time instead of the usual bean and cheese burrito the wet burrito is delicious too it’s a bit spicy and a big burrito ?“
“Only cash! Lol we had to run to CVS to get some cash, not a problem! I've been wanting to try this place for months now & I finally was able to on a Friday afternoon. We ordered 2 chicken teriyaki bowls. Rice, veggies & protein. Of course teriyaki sauce on top of it all. We really loved it! Can't wait to try again. We ate right outside their little patio. They have 3 parking lot spaces & street parking. The staff was very friendly. I wish they had Thai tea“
“Food is 10/10, customer service is 10/10, EVERYTHING IS 10/10! The food is delicious and authentic! The papa ranchera is a must try! Tacos are bomb! And the guy taking your order at the front is incredible! Give him a raise!!! I don’t know his name but I was there on November 25th at 4:38pm! Keep it up guys!“
“Max's food is delicious. The taste and amount are on point. The staff has always been very friendly. They take same day reservations. Love the chips and salsaserved before the food arrives! The outdoor "MAX'S" sign wasn't lit, so we missed it and had to turn around. Hard to find at night, but the staff said they would have it fixed by the next day. There's plenty of free parking available, and they are kid friendly!“
“The food varies some depending on who's cooking, but is pretty spot on most of the time! Huge menu, they do *not* cook their refried beans with lard (according to owner Mrs., though sometimes the grill may share some of the meaty/fishy oils as the vegetarian in the household noticed. The service has been consistently responsive, friendly, helpful; informative, budget friendly and nourishing on a number of levels...“
“Came here today and was served by Miguel! He was astoundingly good and was so eager to have a good time with us today!!! (Edit-- came here Saturday night with a buddy and we were treated so well by all of the staff! Jesse was great as always and we had a really nice waitress named Brittany who was really fun. “I was planning on taking my kid and I to get food at the Monrovia Street Fair, but I was greeted by Desi and Catalina on the way there. They were so friendly and told me about the deals of the day. There was something so sweet about their disposition. I told them we'd come back after checking out the street fair.We were planning on looking for food at the street fair, but -- legit, Desi and Catalina's positive energy were stuck in my head. I was thinking, omg, there is something so positive about these guys. They were also so kind to my 4 year old, who is super shy. They looked at him and told him the deals, which I appreciate cuz he is so picky about going to places. So, the fact that my son allowed us to come back and sit inside speaks volumes. The food is good! I love the carnitas. They have such a great deal - unlimited tacos deal!Parking: tons nearby for freeService: amazing! They make me want to come back! I told a bunch of friends about this place!!Overall: I really like this place!“
“Been here twice and will continue coming. Tried their Al pastor Burrito the first time with black beans No rice and there red Salsa, it was really tasty, a lot of meat and they are big. Second time it was 1 crispy fish and 1 shrimp taco which is combo #1, good amount of both shrimp and fish, not over cooked taste was delicious and fries nice and crunchy. You must try the Baja Berry agua fresca it's the best! Service is great specially Michelle at the register. There's plenty of tables to dine in, I've gone at lunch hour 12:30-1pm and it's not too busy.Overall a great place to stop by for a bite!“
“My wife and I have been dining at LeRoy's for close to 25 years. Today we stopped by as we were in the area. Some things don't change. The restaurant has the same feel of a friendly diner where locals congregate and where waitresses know their repeat customers. The food is good and the staff is busy always. The comfort one finds there is the food but more importantly, the comfort is also found with whom you are dining. We will continue to dine here as we know it's a place with no nonsense wait staff serving basic good food.“
