“Love this place. Close to home and it's delicious. Always get chicken cheese verde enchiladas with beans and rice. The green are best and the red enchiladas are just as delicious. With a Mexican coke tab comes out to about $21 bucks. For delicious food I don't mind. Service is no complaints and is fine. The atmosphere is quiet, peaceful, I usually can read a book and not be bothered or interrupted.
Parking: Parking is west of the restaurant, can pull in off Valley, or from the Alley on the West Street of restaurant that runs north and south of the restaurant.“

“This place was so delicious! I got the pozole rojo, add some toppings, their red salsa, and tostadas and sooo good!! My husband got tacos and finished them before I could even get started with my food! The owners were so sweet and attentive. Their agua de Jamaica and pina was DELICIOUS! Will most definitely be coming back!“

“This is a wonderful way to cater a fun party! The caterers arrive and set up their grill/fry station, sides, etc. We had them use a side patio which worked out great. The menu choices were fantastic, and the food was delicious! Everyone commented on how delicious the tacos, quesadillas and potato taquitos all were. Definitely recommended!“

“the food was delicious, they recommend that I try the asada burrito and they did not disappoint. They had offered rice to add to my burrito and the food came out delicious. Their sauces were aIso perfect for my burrito, i enjoyed all three. i love that you can see them make the food and they have great service. definitely will be visiting again!“

“Will definitely come back here.
I had the nachos - with half cabeza (cooked perfectly) and half al pastor (nice slight spice to it). The burritos and tacos also looked amazing, will try next time.
The customer service was great. They made sure i had enough salsa and sides of pickled onions/carrots.
They have a parking lot and plenty of street parking.“

“Another reviewer mentioned that recently the menudo was tasteless. Too elaborate, I felt the broth was bland, which was good and bad. Good in that it was not over salted. Bad in that it did lack some flavor and definitely no spice. I had to add a lot more red pepper flakes than normal. But the chunks of meat were well cooked. Still good overall.“

“Love love love the cucadachaShrimp ....I'm sure I misspelled but all their shrimp are bomb and shrimp cocktails as well. My only complaint is Please UPDATE your online menu .....I ordered for my company and WOW we went off of the listed prices on menu on websiteDefinitely not updated , and increased by 2 to 3 dollars , I understand things are going up but then I as a customer should be able to count on the business to keep me updated on NEW PRICES , because your food is delicious ? people will still pay but kinda unfair to have that surprise when u get the final bill and it's 50 bucks more then calculated from online prices .Just a friendly suggestion, I love to refer people . Also small tacos not worth the price at all“

“Amazing little taqueria with great food and service. The soy chorizo option was really good for vegetarians; the veggie options comes with mushrooms. Their mango passion agua fresca was delicious. (They also have dog friendly tacos!)
Vegetarian options: Soy chorizo and veggie (mushroom) options. Potato taquitoes were also good. Have side dishes like corn, beans and rice“

“This is definitely one of those hidden gems. Had a crazy work day running around when I decided to pull in and just have a nice little lunch. Boy did they deliver. One of the best wet burritos I've ever had. The Al Pastor was marinated and cooked to perfection with the wonderful green sauce having a playful kick (not too hot but not boring). The mix of flavors worked wonderfully leaving me very full and very satisfied. Wonderful little place with friendly service and sad that it's so far from where I actually live. Highly recommend“

“I dug this genuine tiny little spot in El Monte. The hospitality was all love. The place is soooooo small you have to share a tsbel with strangers which makes for new conversations & dialect. The 3 women that were there doing everything communicated with each other like my Tia's & cousins did back in the day. They made the most of everything they did with love & happiness. Is it the best, by far but is sure did make my heart warm my soul happy and my stomach full. I had the flautas con Pappas( flour tortillas deep fried with mashed potatos?), fully dressed.Everyone else there had steak picado which made me want to go back and see why, and I definitely will.“

“I had chilaquiles rojos with eggs. Very good flavor, they're made using queso fresco, which what you expect from a Mexican restaurant. It's a smaller place, which may not be ideal for larger groups. Attentive service. I will go back to try their Menudo and Pozole. Overall a solid 4.6 rating!“

“I consider myself a bit of a carne asada burrito connoisseur, and I can say without hesitation that this is one of the best I have ever had. The tortilla was fresh, and the meat was flavorful with absolutely zero gristle. I only wish this place was closer to my house.“

“Must try if you’ve never been here. Amazing food. If you’re looking for Authentic Mexican this is the place to visit. Just like your Grandma’s or Mom’s favorite dish. Sauces and chilies are on point. If I could rate this higher I would give this a 10/10.“

“This place had everything I asked for that most restaurants don’t.For starters they had papas rancheras (country potatoes) the way I like them small cubed no skin, and with actual vegetables you can see. They had queso fresco and a very large portion at that. A pretty hot, hot sauce (I’m the devil when it comes to hot sauce)I ordered all that and two eggs over easy with frijoles a cub of coffee and I’m so happy ?DownsideNO HANDMADE TORTILLAS AND NO MOLCAJETE SALSA ? $19.55 my total, should of been more like around $4 eggs + $4 potatoes and beans + $2 queso fresco and $3 coffee plus tax $15-$17 would of been more fair.Because of this I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back but certainly will if in the area, so I can try another dish.“

“My taco cravings lead me here to El Rancho. Meats are nice and juicy, though chorizo is somewhat greasier. My dad enjoys their menudo a lot. Would recommend placing a phone order ahead of time if you plan to do take out. Parking is a bit small and difficult to find if you come at a time when lots are dining in. They kept their patio dining in the parking area.“

“Great food, tastes just like original calvillo México. The bowl is huge I was struggling to finish my food. But I do miss it. It is so delicious the only bad thing is they only work with cash, which is not even bad because they can maintain their prices low. I definitely was satisfied with my birria, flan, soda and churro for a bit less the the 20. I left stuffed. There isnplentybparking available just behind the building itself.“

“I think this place is great ! The food has that great Mom and Pop Restaurant feel and taste. I never really wait here long even if there's a line , also when it's busy the quality doesn't go down! My wife has been coming here since she was in highschool and then she told me about it and fell in love and have been coming here ever since, for burgers , grilled cheese , tortas , asada fries , chile rellenos! The prices make sense, I hope I can bring my kids here in the future.“

“I love the Huevos Rancheros. My husband loves the Cameron Mojo De Ajo. The restaurant is a bit old but look past that and enjoy the food and service...the lady server and i believe her husband is the chef but both are very attentive. I always come back to this place to feel the welcome and to eat.“

“I was at work the other day, hadn’t packed a lunch and was tired of the usual stuff I get in the area. I text my wife asking what for a recommendation and she told me about Taco Burger Place. She said it’s local, has good reviews, and something different than what I would normally get at lunch. I decided to give it a shot. It’s very hole-in-the-wall, so I know it would be great. I ordered five tacos (two fish, two al pastor and a carne asada). It was about 20 minutes before they were ready but I didn’t mind because they were being made fresh. Got back to work and devoured them. In order, my preference was the fish tacos, then the al pastor and then the asada - all really good, though. I will be back at some point and try some of the other items on their menu (especially looking forward to the breakfast burrito). Come check them out - the lady behind the counter was also super kind.“

“Our new go-to spot. Recommend The wet burrito with asada and chorizo its fire! No really that green sauce is spicy! The cabeza and asada meats are really good here and the asada is real asada ,not that weird chopped up meat other spots be selling as asada. Prices are good and the comida doesn't disappoint. We haven't tried anything bad here yet. The frijoles are tasty as fuhhh, you can always tell a good spot by their frijoles and the bean and cheese burros are pretty damn good. Good service too! They stay busy here. They close at 630pm daily and they are closed on mondays.... man o man I think ima go hit up El taco man right now!“
