The aguas frescas are soo good they are full of flavor and not watered down like other places I've been to. This place definately does not disappoint. Cute little restaurant. Definitely recommend 100%. As a Mexican I am very picky and find it hard to find good mexican food while I am out and about. Will definitely come back and bring others with me.“

“This is a small place that feels like you're eating at your Abuelita's place. With authentic Mexican food and drinks. They make the cafe de olla in the clay pot. They even tweaked a meal for me to be the way I like it. I have been a few times and haven't been disappointed. Give them a try.“

“This is a wonderful way to cater a fun party! The caterers arrive and set up their grill/fry station, sides, etc. We had them use a side patio which worked out great. The menu choices were fantastic, and the food was delicious! Everyone commented on how delicious the tacos, quesadillas and potato taquitos all were. Definitely recommended!“

Sometimes a little salty but still good. There's only a few people that work there at any one time.And they are fast and friendly.“

The restaurant is a bit old but look past that and enjoy the food and service...the lady server and i believe her husband is the chef but both are very attentive. “I went to this store to buy food for a homeless like person whom I saw on a cross road twice when I passed there and returned.I got a Burritos De Machaca from this restaurant for him. But he was not there when I returned there again. (I didn't tell him. I just tried to see if I could give to him)So I took this burrito home as my lunch then I ate it.Thanks God. “I dug this genuine tiny little spot in El Monte.The hospitality was all love. The place is soooooo small you have to share a tsbel with strangers which makes for new conversations & dialect.The 3 women that were there doing everything communicated with each other like my Tia's & cousins did back in the day. They made the most of everything they did with love & happiness. Is it the best, by far but is sure did make my heart warm my soul happy and my stomach full. I had the flautas con Pappas( flour tortillas deep fried with mashed potatos?), fully dressed.Everyone else there had steak picado which made me want to go back and see why, and I definitely will.“

Asada taco - $2.50 - they are pretty generous with the meat! They’ll give you red and green sauce. You can ask for both!

Shrimp taco - $3.00 - pretty good! Its not shrimp, but more of a shrimp patty? You can taste the pieces of shrimp when you bite into it as well!

Fish taco- $3.00 - theres more batter for fish - luckily the toppings help balance the oil from the fried batter. The size of the fish when i ordered to eat there was big. The one i ordered to-go was smaller. I was a bit disappointed at first but the flavor didn’t change. I asked for sauce to go as well.

Horchata - cant go wrong with it! They have regular or large!

“What I Appreciate about Tacos Los Betos is that it has completive pricing/affordability. If looking at how much to spend a day on takeout as a Uber driver it adds up; place like this helps bring eat out cost down. Cheese Carne Asada Tacos are decent usually tasting fresh. Never had my order be incorrect and numerous ladies who serve service are quiet with good service. The area is okay, parking is small. The only thing I wished this place do differently is not package the Tacos in Aluminum foil instead paper plates or plastic wrap for personal health reasons, but it's a minor health personal thing-most people don't pay attention to. Other than that I recommend this place. Have 2 days of week lower their tacos prices for more traffic in and I'll try Breakfast dishes one these days. Asada Nachos looks bomb too!“
