A little restaurant over in El Monte. Came over for a carne asada but decided I'd love to try a sope so I went with a Jr carne asada burrito. Great choice as it was the size of a regular burrito. Like many burritos with all the fixings, it was a little uneven more meat on one end and more rice on the other. Not a big deal for me because all the ingredients were delicious. Another reviewer mentioned that recently the menudo was tasteless. Too elaborate, I felt the broth was bland, which was good and bad. Good in that it was not over salted. Bad in that it did lack some flavor and definitely no spice. I had to add a lot more red pepper flakes than normal. But the chunks of meat were well cooked. Still good overall.

Food was great: got three tacos: asada (beef), pastor (pork), cabeza (head of the cow), really had the twice-grilled caramelized taste that I remember from Mexico. Radish could have been a little fresher.
