“Love the interior of this place. Upon walking in, it is nice and bright. The staff was super friendly and the girl in front was very helpful.

I had a few items including their waffle, chicken sandwiches, and tteokbokki. The way they fry their chicken is so good. The skin is super crispy yet the chicken inside is still juicy. Also, this might be one of the best chicken and waffles I've ever had. The waffles are crispy on the center and soo fluffy on the inside. They also give you whip cream and butter with it. It was delicious. If this was a breakfast spot, I would go back to order the waffles every day. I also like how much toppings are in their tteokbokki. The flavor was really good and wasn't too overly spicy which I enjoy. The chicken sandwich was a little hard to eat because it is HUGE but nonetheless, it was great. The chicken wasn't dry even though they were tenders. Overall, I really liked my meal there and found it really delicious.“

The chicken tenders especially stood out—they had the perfect amount of spice and breading. On top of the fantastic food, the woman who made the food and the gentleman (I believe they’re the owners) were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. Their kindness made the visit even more special. “Absolutely amazing. After a disappoint go at the Mancoras peruivian cuisine on main, I found this place in walking distance. Gave it a shot and the chicken is amazing. The #1 recommendation is have is the #1 Chicken sandwich (white or dark meat) it's by far the best chicken sandwich I've had. Easily blowing Raising Canes and all other chicken sandwich establishments out of the park. The balance between each ingredient was spot on and I could easily devour multiple of these in one sitting due to how good it is. 100% recommend this place.

Side note, for any people planning to eat here. Order ahead of time (sometimes it can take 30+ minutes) and avoid the wraps, go for the chicken on the bun instead. It's vastly superior because the wraps seem to be poorly constructed. The wraps seem to be overflowing with sauce which makes the wrap soft and weak so its, hard to hold let alone eat, without it breaking apart in your hands“

I ordered the dry noodles with teriyaki chicken, and it hit. The flavors were solid and well-balanced. I also tried their half and half fried and Hainan-style steamed chicken, and both were super flavorful and cooked perfectly. You can tell they really know how to handle their chicken dishes, which is kind of their specialty.“

I got their 4 piece meal with half fried and roasted chicken, beans, plantains, and tortillas. Yall know im a bean fiend and these beans were smooth, savory, and flavorful. The plantains were sweet, soft, caramalized, and a bit tart? Not really for me. The roasted chicken was super savory, flavorful, juicy, and actually really yummy. The fried chicken was perfectly crispity crunchy and just as flavorful and juicy. Pro tip is to make a taco using the corn tortilla with all the yummy ingredients. This place is actually pretty good.

“Been wanting to come back again since I first tried Macho so came here for lunch while I was in the area. They have a self ordering kiosk and I ordered the Macho Crispy Chicken Sandwich (9.99). I did dine in and they have a couple tables inside to sit at. The food was ready in about 10 minutes which is quick.

The chicken sandwich was pretty good, the chicken quality is as good as the first time I ate it. But maybe because I wasn't as hungry so it didn't taste as good. The chicken patty seemed a bit less juicy than last time though. But still a pretty good chicken sandwhich although pricier than other places, it does have an Asian taste to it compared to western places. I think this is still a good spot for crispy chicken sandwich in the SGV. I think the Monterey Park location tasted better though.“

I know the online menu says $18.50 but in the store it was $16.50 of course after tax and a $0.75 card fee it was just over $19 but whatever. The chicken is fine on its own but once you have the beef the chicken just sort of pales in comparison.
