You can see in the textures that some of the more time intensive food is prepared by hand and not canned.
Benedict was great, coffee tastes like a decent brew I'd make at home, not instant and no cut corners in the kitchen.

“My husband and I have been going to Mari Vees a few times in the past few months after our trip to Huntington Library. It's a cute little place. Victor, the manager, and his staff are friendly, very attentive, and always pleasant. My husband had a few different breakfast dishes which he liked them all. I love their chicken tortillas soup. We look forward to going there again soon.“

“Came here getting baguettes before leaving out of town, got here at 6am and the bread is definitely hot. I always come here in the morning and grab there baguettes because their baguettes won’t get harden through the days.
Service here is very good absolutely attentive, nice and friendly.
Atmosphere they have outside sitting and inside eating as well, you can come as a group sit and eat.“

This place been around for a while but I never know this place exist because it’s so hidden.The service is a bit slow when prepping the food, but their tacos are to die for. Helen was quick on delivery, she was willing to work with us to add variation to the lunches and her prices could not be beat. The employees we were training highly complimented all the food. My waitress Yaneli served as hostess at the 8am hour and greeted me as soon as I walked in. She took my order which came out quickly from the kitchen piping hot, brought over condiments and checked on me several times to make sure I was OK and refill my OJ even though she was a one-woman show in a packed section of the restaurant. I’m so glad we try their breakfast today , portions good enough for my tummy ,I ordered the French toast and eggs it was crispy around the edges it was so good n yummy and my husband ordered the pancakes and wedges potatoes, the pancakes so fluffy big n soft, I also like the way they cooked the potatoes it felt like home made type n different then harsh brown , inside so clean service good n cozy atmosphere felt like I’m out of town!“

Bad Ass Breakfast Burritos absolutely lives up to the name… bold flavors, massive portions, and seriously satisfying. The burritos are packed, fresh, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Every bite is hearty and filling, and the flavors hit hard in the best way.

The only small complaint I have… I wish it was mixed a little better. About half the burrito was mostly egg, while the other half had all the flavor and fillings. Once you hit that side though, it’s 🔥.

Great food, great vibes, and still 100 percent worth it. One small tweak and it would be perfect. Highly recommend. 🌯🔥“

“The food was excellent! I ordered the breakfast burrito and asked for the chipotle crema on the side—it was absolutely delicious. The burrito was huge and very filling. My husband ordered the eggs and bacon with pancakes, and everything tasted great.

The coffee was strong, fresh, and delicious. Our total bill was under $40, which was a great value for the quality and portion sizes.

“Had a wonderful experience today (8/9/26) at The Terrace! Our server was Maria and I let her know right away about my gluten allergy. She had several menu suggestions for me and was very understanding and helpful helping me navigate the menu. It’s always a big gamble going out to eat with food restrictions, but Maria was knowledgeable and help put me at ease. The food was not only celiac safe (I tested in on my Nima sensor) but delicious. “Really delicious when chef is on it. Long-time customer since they opened in San Gabriel. Unfortunately inconsistent quality, understaffing make this place hit-or-miss. I rarely eat in due to understaffing - bussing & cleaning take a while. 85-90% of the time pretty good TW deli food. I go there every 1-2 months.

I esp like their sticky rice rolls fantuan, sticky rice wrapped in bamboo zongzi, turnip cakes luobogao, onion pancakes congyoubing, black sesame pastry, green onion pastry xiekehuang. Their garlic soy sauce is delish!“
