“A late night meal after a long commute from the east coast was needed. Norms had just closed and IHop, was the only 24 hour restaurant that I could think of. Thr nice waitress asked us to wait 15 minutes as.she was the only server at this time. The 2 cooks stayed busy throughout our 1 hour visit cooking for 30 in house customers and more than a few take out customers. The food hit the spot- pancakes, the.thinest.T-bone stake I had ever eaten, Mac and Cheese, 2 fried fish chunks and 5 fried shrimp tempura style for Wendal. We were satisfied and paid $50 including tip.“

“I've been almost everywhere. You pay that price in any of the fast food restaurants,But to be greeted and seated and get your coffee refilled without asking, and serviced a huge portion of food in a cozy atmosphere, for a price that did not jump over twenties, I was so impressed, food was delicious,I even enjoyed some of it at home, I had to take at least half of the portion with me home,I ordered texas skillet, steak was tender, eggs and hashbrowns were cooked to perfection, and vegetables were fresh,Service was so friendly and welcoming,I've seen them working hard, and for the price, i was impressed by the quick service and attention,People demanding better service might be comparing their experience to high-end expensive restaurants. For this price, you pick up your food from a counter and probably clean after yourself,So be humble and appreciate the love you'll receiveFrom this moment I'm a regular,I'll be definitely back soon“

“My family and I loved this place. It's been a long time since we have tasted authentic not bloating after feeling food. The servers were great, food came out on a timely matter. The place takes you back in time enjoying the company you have away from electronics. I highly recommend this breakfast place.“

“Open 7am-11am ONLY. The perfect tasty little egg sandwich (eggs, hickory crisp bacon, avocado, cheddar cheese on a brioche bun)? it was a great quick and delicious breakfast sandwich. This location has fresh squeezed orange juice on the spot!, so freshening, I only wish I had a larger cup to drink ?This is a nice little spot for La Verne? they have a great little menu, not overwhelming at all and it covers the breakfast basics. We will definitely be back to try their breakfast bowls ?“

“Every meal, off the charts delicious. All employees friendly. Our server Sarah was exceptional! She was down to earth and a joy. She offered well thought considerate tips. It is the food that makes a place great and individuals that make it extraordinary!“

“Old town Monrovia is cute and has great vibes. This cafe is just off the beaten path and is definitely a great spot to have breakfast. The granola pancakes are lovely with great flavors. I wish they had had more real maple syrup, but they were running out apparently. The bacon was cooked to perfection! All in all it was good food for a reasonable price, with great serving staff.Parking: Some street parking, but just down the street there is a lot with more parking.“

“Caramelo Café offers a delightful morning escape with excellent customer service. Visited on a Friday morning, the waitress was incredibly attentive, ensuring our experience was top-notch. The ambiance is charming, adding to the overall appeal. The highlight was undoubtedly the food. Opting for the chilaquiles burrito with steak, I was greeted with a burst of delicious flavors, especially with their tantalizing green salsa. However, while the steak had a robust flavor, it was a tad thick and tough to chew, leaving me contemplating a different protein choice for my next visit--perhaps bacon? Despite this minor setback, Caramelo Café left a positive impression. With its inviting atmosphere and flavorsome dishes, it's a spot I'd recommend to anyone seeking a delightful breakfast experience.“
“Crossroads is a nice little cafe with a great variety of sandwiches. My friends and I ordered sandwiches to-go and they were so yummy! I had the spicy chicken sandwich and loved it. It was a good spice level for me but may be a little bit spicy for some. Everyone else really enjoyed their sandwiches as well. Overall, it was a great meal and I will definitely be coming back to try more things in the future.“

“Excellent eatery! Very kind waitress, good alternative music. Came in with a group of 8 and had a really good experience. We ate outside and it was a little chilly but they have outdoor heaters ☺️. Really good portions, exceptional quality! Highly recommend ?“

“Lovely outdoor space to have breakfast or lunch, but the service was lacking & everyone was a little awkward to interact with. The food was solid, I enjoyed my corned beef hash breakfast, my husband enjoyed his BLT and my Grandma enjoyed her grilled cheese. Both of them had wanted soup & sandwich combo, but they only had one soup option of chicken sausage gumbo “I think” the waitress shared.“
“Such an amazing place. Me and my family have been going since before Covid and one thing we can say is that the quality of service and food has never changed. If you want to support a family run business and get your money's worth this place is 100% worth it. The owners are kind and funny and lovely to chat to and their children make the place warm and homey. You can really tell that this place has a lot of love to give and it shows in their food and service. It holds a special place in me and my families heart and I will forever support them! (Plus their boba is AMAZING!)“

“Our breakfast at IHOP was great! The pancakes were fluffy, light, and extremely tasty. Our eggs were cooked to perfection as was our bacon and sausage. Our waitress, Nicole, provided exceptional service, refilling our drinks and asking how we were. Definitely will return.“

“Norms was great, and obvious hit among the local population. I'm a pilot so we flew into this busy restaurant and had to wait. The staff work courteous with that regard and apologetic. The food was basic Cafe style menu. We had no complaints in thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the hustle and vessel at Norm's.“

“We come and eat breakfast here a lot. It's a basic food restaurant in a primarily industrial area of an industrial city, with a mostly Hispanic clientele. It is great for what it is, I know I'm not in West Hollywood or Pasadena, I am in La Puente and this place very good for the area. The food, the people, and the interactions, are great. :)“

“A mom and pops diner with great service and interestingly tasty food. Craving for a different breakfast experience and spotted this place and thought to try. The place is dated but clean with ample parking space. There was a sign on what seemed to be a door but wasn't sure it was pointing to where the entrance is when it meant that door was the actual entrance to the restaurant. Went on a Sunday morning, wasn't too busy. Got seated right away. The server was very attentive to our needs. Service is fast as well. Tried their chicken burrito which was surprisingly very delicious! Portion size is moderate, has the right amount of meat and eggs. It comes with an option to either their red or green sauce which had the right hint of spiciness to it. Price is very affordable and overall, not too shabby.“
