“Came here getting baguettes before leaving out of town, got here at 6am and the bread is definitely hot. I always come here in the morning and grab there baguettes because their baguettes won’t get harden through the days.
Service here is very good absolutely attentive, nice and friendly.
Atmosphere they have outside sitting and inside eating as well, you can come as a group sit and eat.“

This place been around for a while but I never know this place exist because it’s so hidden.The service is a bit slow when prepping the food, but their tacos are to die for. I would come back any day for tacos!Parking lot is shared with other shops but not too busy! The menu is consistent and so is their food!Would come back again! “It was my first time dining at this location while I waited for my car tires to get serviced across the street. The restaurant was relatively busy for a weekday early morning. My waitress Yaneli served as hostess at the 8am hour and greeted me as soon as I walked in. She took my order which came out quickly from the kitchen piping hot, brought over condiments and checked on me several times to make sure I was OK and refill my OJ even though she was a one-woman show in a packed section of the restaurant. She made a hectic morning of errands turn around with a refreshing and cheerful vibe. Would definitely come back!“

“My husband and I have been going to Mari Vees a few times in the past few months after our trip to Huntington Library. It's a cute little place. Victor, the manager, and his staff are friendly, very attentive, and always pleasant. My husband had a few different breakfast dishes which he liked them all. I love their chicken tortillas soup. The original Jolly Jug was in South El Monte in the 1930s and people came from all around to eat their famous Pastrami’s and Beef Dip sandwiches. “We really enjoyed the drinks and the food! We tried the By the fire, Adult Green Juice and Strawberry Flirt drinks and all were amazing! For appetizers and dinner we shared the pork belly dish along with the mac n cheese and the cheesy panini toast-& ribeye for main dinner- the appetizers were great, the ribeye was not thick enough and the sides- mashed potatoes were too salty- it was still good but could have been better. For dessert we had the chocolate cake- and it was just ok- would have been better with some vanilla ice cream on the side. Last comment I wanted to make is about the parking lot- it's difficult to get around the parking lot because you can't get into the first and second rows easily because it's closed off- it would be so much better if it went through.“

“Kitchen Mouse Bakery is a true delight! Adorable inside, it has the kindest employees and offers all manner of delicious vegan treats. Their breakfast sandwich is an addiction along with their s’mores brownie. Everything I’ve had has been delicious and it’s a great spot to stop and fill up a box of treats to bring to a party or event. So grateful to have them in my neighborhood!“

“me & my husband plan to eat at Norms unfortunately they were temporarily closed ,so we decided to go penny restaurant. I’m so glad we try their breakfast today , portions good enough for my tummy ,I ordered the French toast and eggs it was crispy around the edges it was so good n yummy and my husband ordered the pancakes and wedges potatoes, the pancakes so fluffy big n soft, I also like the way they cooked the potatoes it felt like home made type n different then harsh brown , inside so clean service good n cozy atmosphere felt like I’m out of town!“

“I’ve been cutting out refined sugar and it’s been difficult but I came across this place and I was able to have a wonderful chocolate shake with almond milk and cocoa, yes it had sugar but pure cane sugar. It was a great alternative and it taste so yummy! I was also able to add toppings, healthy toppings, strawberries, blueberries, etc. so good! Can’t wait to go back❤️“

“My company used Crossroads for a very long project that required catering every weekday for over three weeks. Helen was quick on delivery, she was willing to work with us to add variation to the lunches and her prices could not be beat. The employees we were training highly complimented all the food. Sandwiches, wraps, tacos, bento bowls and salads. All of it was delicious. I cannot thank Helen a Crossroads enough for her hard work and wonderful food.“

“I came in my local ihop to eat some food today, and I saw that it was empty! I was surprised by how sanitary the bathroom was! The food was amazing and there were multiple choices of syrup including butter pecan, blueberry, strawberry, and good ol' fashioned maple syrup. They were all good except for blueberry syrup which was mid. My server, Lupita, was awesome! She was really kind to me and my Gigi :) I got chicken and waffles with strawberry syrup!“

“Had a wonderful experience today (8/9/26) at The Terrace! Our server was Maria and I let her know right away about my gluten allergy. She had several menu suggestions for me and was very understanding and helpful helping me navigate the menu. It’s always a big gamble going out to eat with food restrictions, but Maria was knowledgeable and help put me at ease. The food was not only celiac safe (I tested in on my Nima sensor) but delicious. “For the life of me I don’t get why this place has such a low rating, so Imma do my part to push back against the haters.

First of all, the food: I love a breakfast burrito but also love a runny yolk, since you can get your eggs either sunny side or scrambled here, it’s literally the first place I’ve ever had both at the same time. I ordered the Bronco Burrito and it was perfectly cooked (yolk medium, white parts fully cooked) and well balanced w bits of chopped bacon, avocado, and pickled jalapeno mixed through, along with crispy, fluffy tots. I’d have liked a side of pico de gallo but the Cholula and spicy mayo were fine.

Seems like most of the bad reviews were for delivery so maybe there are issues there with consistency or the ordering platform, but honestly just go and check it out. I had no issues finding it either, but maybe that’s just a skill issue… ;)“
