“Came here getting baguettes before leaving out of town, got here at 6am and the bread is definitely hot. I always come here in the morning and grab there baguettes because their baguettes won’t get harden through the days.
Service here is very good absolutely attentive, nice and friendly.
Atmosphere they have outside sitting and inside eating as well, you can come as a group sit and eat.“

“One of my favorite breakfast places in the city. Beautiful interior with lots of windows and light. The food is delicious and offers good vegan and vegetarian options. My go to is the chilaquiles or the Morning Glory bowl with egg and avo. So good! 🤤“

“I actually ordered their chicken and waffle for breakfast and not thinking this can be that great (because I didn't choose this place but my mom did 😬). However, to my surprise, the Belgium waffle was huge and has a very good texture with a special dough. And Man, that chicken thigh is something else! I love that chicken was marinated first, then fired (or baked) so it's juicy and not dry at all! Not to even mention the Hispanic servers there can speak Chinese so that's why they can draw my mom back (and now me)! 🤣 👏 Bravo Nano Cafe 👏“

“The Jolly Jug is one of those iconic places that can never be duplicated. The original Jolly Jug was in South El Monte in the 1930s and people came from all around to eat their famous Pastrami’s and Beef Dip sandwiches. Going into another century of their delicious food and cold beer, you can’t go wrong by making a pit stop here. “I’ve been cutting out refined sugar and it’s been difficult but I came across this place and I was able to have a wonderful chocolate shake with almond milk and cocoa, yes it had sugar but pure cane sugar. It was a great alternative and it taste so yummy! I was also able to add toppings, healthy toppings, strawberries, blueberries, etc. so good! Can’t wait to go back❤️“

“Friendly people, adorable environment, great food. The pastries were 10/10. For the non vegans, chicken eggs and cow milk is on offer. Loved the cozy, bright, comfortable space. Super kid friendly with a fun toy kitchen area, but the space is ample and well laid out so it's ready to find your quiet zone too. really liked the color choices.“

“My husband and I have been going to Mari Vees a few times in the past few months after our trip to Huntington Library. It's a cute little place. Victor, the manager, and his staff are friendly, very attentive, and always pleasant. My husband had a few different breakfast dishes which he liked them all. I love their chicken tortillas soup. We look forward to going there again soon.“

“It was very lovely, the new ice coffee is very delicious although the pancakes were a bit disappointing. Overall great experience and even with the overwhelming amount of guests here they’re continuing to get the food out relatively smoothly and freshly.“
“The wait wasn’t too long, the servers were really attentive, and the food was good. The ambiance wasn’t overwhelming, like a few other places I’ve had brunch at, and it added to the great experience we had. Definitely recommend for a Friday morning girl’s day. We’ll be back!“

“Got an egg muffin and the egg was so perfect in it! Deliciously yolky and the sandwich wasn’t very greasy like it can be in some other places. Doesn’t mean it was dry tho- just means it had the right amount! The prices are great as well, and the guy running the place was super friendly and nice. Definitely coming back to try the other menu

“Had a fantastic experience at Aloha Stacks! The Hawaiian-inspired food was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The Loco Moco and Ube Coconut Pancakes were especially delicious, and everything had a satisfying homemade feel. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the relaxed atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. A great spot in El Monte for a hearty breakfast or Hawaiian-style comfort food—definitely worth coming back!“

“I had a small chicken teriyaki salad which was more than enough. It was absolutely delicious and the chicken was cooked perfectly. My husband had the daily special of baked ham with veggies and said they were delish as well. We will definitely be returning.“

“Came for my first afternoon tea experience and thought the set up was amazing. I attended the Brides of Dracula tea and what a great spin! It was just unfortunate that I didn’t realize there were other drinks I could have ordered. The bites were all very tasty and filling too. Would definitely return to try out their full menu.“

“My company used Crossroads for a very long project that required catering every weekday for over three weeks. Helen was quick on delivery, she was willing to work with us to add variation to the lunches and her prices could not be beat. The employees we were training highly complimented all the food. Sandwiches, wraps, tacos, bento bowls and salads. All of it was delicious. I cannot thank Helen a Crossroads enough for her hard work and wonderful food.“

“EggBred in Whittier was the perfect Saturday brunch spot. I started off with a fresh oj and cold brew. The orange juice was super fresh and sweet. Then came the TRUFFLE CRUNCH BURGER. I could immediately smell the truffle. I loved how savory this was. Next, I shared the BUILD A BENNY - PASTRAMI. The eggs benedict was SO good. For sides, I ordered the BEER BATTERED POTATOES & SD MAC & CHEESE. I highly recommend you put the Mac & Cheese on top of the benny, it adds another cheesy layer dimension. Overall, yummy food thats worth the price point.“

“I went to eat breakfast at the Bell gardens location. Mary was my server, she was fantastic, very friendly and professional. So he took pride with giving excellent customer service. Plus she was doing the duties as the manager. The food was delicious, I recommend this location and the server Mary. Monday morning are very slow, weekends are very busy.“

“me & my husband plan to eat at Norms unfortunately they were temporarily closed ,so we decided to go penny restaurant. I’m so glad we try their breakfast today , portions good enough for my tummy ,I ordered the French toast and eggs it was crispy around the edges it was so good n yummy and my husband ordered the pancakes and wedges potatoes, the pancakes so fluffy big n soft, I also like the way they cooked the potatoes it felt like home made type n different then harsh brown , inside so clean service good n cozy atmosphere felt like I’m out of town!“

“Such a great experience! The food was so good! We had the carne asada burrito, and it was absolutely delicious. I especially loved the Mexican rice inside the burrito—it added so much flavor and made it extra satisfying. The carne asada was flavorful, and both salsas were delicious! 🌯🔥
The restaurant was very clean, which I really appreciated, and they have an A health rating, which was great to see. The atmosphere was cozy and had that authentic Mexican restaurant feel. We also had some Squirt, which went perfectly with the meal. 😋
