“This is where my mom would get banh mis for us when I was little and I just recently re-discovered them! The #1 Thit Nguoi or cold cuts is my version of THEE traditional banh mi. There's no where else you need to go. The fresh bread is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. When you order, you can choose from the football shape or the baguette shaped bread. Scratch pate, cold cuts, daikon, carrots, cilantro, and thinly shaved jalapeños. Service is straightforward and fast! Corner store vibes but Vietnamese :) Parking is also plentiful. Ugh my heart is so happy!!“

Help support great restaurant Rosemead, Temple city area. So happy when they moved from Valley Blvd and San Gabriel to their new location on Rosemead Blvd and Lower Azusa Rd in Rosemead. I had to give them a shout out.“

“Love this place! Best Banh Xeo around with a uniquely crunchy outer shell and the most beautiful assortment of perfectly fresh and delicious greens. Costs more, but it's definitely worth it. The atmosphere is exactly as it should be... you know you're paying for tasty, authentic food, not fancy decor. Will definitely be back!“

“We had the dim sum towards the end of service. The dim sum here was good, and is cheaper than going to an a la carte dim sum place. Adding drinks was only another 1.50, and you get a pretty good selection.Lina was great in helping us with the experience, as she explained the AYCE rules and was accommodating to all of our questions. She had even helped me bring things back to the table when she saw me struggling.Overall I would come back.“

“This unassuming restaurant in the entrance of a supermarket is a hidden gem. Found it looking for Bo Luc Lac in the LA area and found it via Instagram review than made me want to drive all the way from Long Beach and I was not disappointed, as they serve one of the better Luc Lac, tender and well balanced on sauce and pepper. Their medium is more well done than medium so adapt your request based on that. The rest of the dishes are also very well executed, fresh and flavorful. The service is efficient and friendly while attentive.Well worth a trip if you Are not close, you will not be disappointed.Parking: Parking is busy“

“Food is great and service is too! We had my daughter's Birthday dinner there for the fourth time. It is one of her favorite places. Actually it is our favorite Italian Restaurant. I love their pesto and eggplant parm! Their bread with olive oil and vinegar is dangerous!!! I also love the house salad with ranch and Italian!!! Yummy!!! They have catered our family parties too!“

“Small restaurant/ cafe that specializes in noodles and dumplings. And more specifically, shanxi knife-cut noodles. The place feels family owned and operated and this was reflected in the friendly, warm service. I came in on a cold evening, looking for some warm soup. So I ordered the beef noodle soup. I ended choosing the thinner, hand stretched noodles (as apposed to the thicker knife cut variety), because it seemed like it would go better in the soup. The noodles were very well done and chewy. Great texture to go along with the comforting spicy broth. I also ordered fish and leek dumplings. Great flavor and structure. I took most to go because the two dishes I ordered was a lot of food. I enjoyed the vibe here. While I was eating, there were two ladies preparing dumplings off to the side. It reminded me of my mom and aunt when I visit my parents. So there was a nostalgic factor. Like a lot of other restaurants in the area that I really enjoy, this place feels like a great value for delicious noodles and dumplings because of their great selection and very reasonable prices.“

“Probably one of the best spots I've tried in a while. If you are looking for something different but still amazing I'd definitely recommend Rose City Pizza. I tried the lasagna grilled cheese, the elote fries and the spicy BBQ wings.“

“Would not have stopped but that I saw, lettered neatly on the sidewalk chalkboard, "Vietnamese Crepe" , and seeing as it's not so easy to find Bánh xèo, and I like it, so I sallied forth. I was courteously welcomed and quickly seated and I ordered the Bánh xèo. It was delicious and I enjoyed it tremendously. I was most impressed with the many dishes described on the menu and I hope that I will have the opportunity to eat here a few more times.“

“Amazing staff that makes you feel like family!! Me and my family have been coming here ever since I was young and we don't think we'll stop any time soon! The com tan is amazing but I would also recommend trying other things on the menu if it's not for you. Classic Vietnamese family style restaurant with a casual vibe, a must try if you're in the area looking for some Viet comfort food!“

“Food taste is very good, although not necessary the best in town. However, they add good presentation and combined some of the most fancy and famous disks, that is hard to fine in other restaurants. Certainly, a WOW for eaters that have not seen them before. Service is not the best, again, but for a very popular place, they performed professional enough.“

“Ordered takeout today, great service! Amazingly fresh and clean veggies. I had requested chopsticks and they forgot, they called me an offer to drive it to me. Wasn’t necessary, but the fact that they went out of their way, meant a lot! My mom is a patient at City of Hope, which is nearby and I called them to ask if they can please clean the vegetables extra because of her chemotherapy status and they were more than happy to oblige. 7 courses of beef is super special for Vietnamese people, happy to support this amazing local biz!“

“Ordered chicken and pork banh mi sandwiches; featured large chunks of well seasoned meat, fresh cilantro and veggies on both sandwiches. Price was a bit higher but expected for LA area. Ciabatti bread is unique use for banh mi but not bad; just unique.Parking: Limited parking spots“

“Delicious Food Corner is a restaurant I keep coming back to for brunch.Their pork and preserved egg congee is a great (staple Cantonese-style) breakfast item, but a bit plain, so I like to add white pepper to it.The pineapple bun with butter is best eaten fresh when the bun is still steamy hot and the butter is slightly melted.F.Y.I. Don't get the toast with condensed milk to-go; it's super dry and they don't give you enough condensed milk and sugar powder. The (ceylon) milk tea is often made fresh and you can see the staff pouring/mixing it from a 2-foot height at the kitchen bar area. It's pretty amazing to watch them do that and I've never seen it being done in-person at other restaurants.I ordered the shrimp cheung fun with the breakfast combo meal (which is a great value), but I got the rice rolls with peanut sauce instead. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the combination is and it's more like a dessert item. It's basically like the Thai-style peanut sauce on top of cheung fun.At least for this location, it's almost always full of people with no tables, even just 30 minutes after opening. I usually order to-go for that reason, but parking in sparse in the plaza too.“

“This was a restaurant I stumbled upon while buying egg tarts nearby at Phu’s bakery. They have a lot of options and have large portions. I had bought the dishes home. Pad see ew, rad na (thick rice noodles with gravy), and pad soon sen. these were all delicious. The catfish dish was alright. I probably won’t order that again as it was quite hard and sweet.Service was good for to-go. Ambiance: They have quite a bit of seating and can accommodate large groups.“

“Came here for a family lunch and we will definitely be back! Hearty portions. The chapo specials have a few type of meats they kind of compete with each-other and I would skip the chicken in that specific combination. The breakfast burrito was a HIT. Next time I want to try it with hash brown/refried beans. Everything else was good , will be back for sure . Service was good, not a Michelin starJoint but the price is right and it's definitely a neighborhood joint. Worker was like " you've never been here before so they definitely have their clientele" murals on the walls average Mexican spot vibes.“

“The pan and tamales are AMAZING! the concha with the fruit was a little too sweet for my taste, but amazing nonetheless. Their tamales actually have a good amount of meat in them, unlike most tamales that only have little hairs of meat. They also have menudo, which is served earlier in the day on weekends. Call in advance to make sure they have it. Best pan I’ve ever had!“

“An excellent hole in the wall that satisfies all taste buds in one sitting! I am ALWAYS craving their noodles! Both affordable and tasteful. It doesn't get better than this--even a noodle house doesn't top their food. There's a variety of options, but they're known for their infamous wonton noodle soup! People tend to pair it with some delicious "Chinese donuts"“

“So my dad chose a spot out of nowhere. it’s literally a hole in the wall, which is great because some of these places make the best food ever. My dad got green Chilaquiles and he said they were a bit salty for his taste and so has beans I got a plate beef and it was delicious. The only thing I wish they had, green limes! The service was OK. The server only came around one time to ask how we were doing. I would definitely go back to try something else on their menu. I have also attached some pictures of their current menu. Enjoy.Parking: There’s only two or three parking spots on their property but right next to it. There’s an abandoned car wash where I parked and a few other cars.“

“You must not miss this Shanxi noodle restaurant. The uncle at the front desk is super friendly and friendly. He speaks friendly Taiyuan dialect. In addition, the food is very authentic (a strong affirmation from Taiyuan people in Shanxi Province), and it will not make any mistakes. It tastes like a parent! ! ! Moved to tears! Come and eat! !“

“I've been here a couple of time for the past couple of years. I'm gonna say this in the nicest way possible but I truly just come here for the food and the food only. The pho is one of the best spots in SGV and unbeatable prices! $12 for an XL bowl of Pho Dac Biet that fed me 2 more times after I took the leftovers home for a total of 3 meals. Service is pretty transactional like many Asian owned restaurants in the 626. You order what you want, flag them down when you need something, and you pay up in the front once you're done eating. Don't expect small talk which is nice sometimes when I just want to sit down and eat. The restaurant itself isn't the cleanest, but there's free parking in the lot. Coming here in the evenings is a fun vibe because there's an elderly Vietnamese uncle who sings karaoke outside the restaurant with a portable karaoke machine.“

“This evening I found the nearest Indian restaurant. My favorite thing to eat is the fermented scallion pancake. I really like it and can’t get enough of it every time. I also love the Indian samosas in picture 4, and I must order them every time. The roasted chicken in picture 3 is not only beautiful but also delicious. The skin is perfectly crispy, which is very good. He also had a very good attitude and introduced the characteristics of the dishes when he served them to us.“

“Review for drinks only! It's been years since I have had monja taiker. I was nearby getting banh mi and decided to pop in to get a drink. I've only dined in once. But I have had their drinks many times. I got the black milk tea with boba. The drink was as creamy and delicious as I remember. There aren't many boba locations on this side of Garvey.“

“Delicious Hong Kong-style drinks, dishes and entrees selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner on the San Gabriel side of the valley. Service is always pleasant and the wait staff are the nicest people that you can find in any Hong Kong-style restaurants. They are always polite and respectful. Food wise, is always a delicious delight! We are frequent patrons and love everything about this cafe.“
“My sister brought me here after she had her life changed from tasting their carne asada taco. She said "ok i don't want to hype it up too much for you but this is my fave taco spot in our area". I was like mmm I'll be my own judge of that. She bought me 3 carne asada tacos. I liked them. They were pretty standard though I've never had a bad carne asada taco in our area. I can think of other taco trucks whose carne asada tacos compare. But then she got me a carne asada quesadilla. It came with a thing of sour cream and a thing of ketchup. (They have diff salsas too. Their habanero is the spiciest if you like spicy) Different but I'll take it. When i tell you it tastes like an abeula made it im not joking. I think the carne asada really shines with the cheese and flour tortilla. They're like delicious best friends. But I don't wanna hype it up for you. You should go try it for yourself!“

“It's the kind of mom and pop place that I love to eat. The place is only big enough for about 7-8 tables. But the traffic never stops.Staff, including the owner, are very friendly and down to earth. I love that the owner was at each table talking and checking on customers.Food: This place is known for the quality of the steamed chicken. It's perfectly seasoned and perfectly steamed.“
