“I’ve been to the DTLA Arts District location so many times, so I was shocked (in the best way) to discover this one so close to home. The space is modern, clean, and has a cool vibe — though I still lean toward the unique Arts District atmosphere. What really stands out is the pizza: same incredible quality as DTLA. Blindfold me and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

The only thing to keep in mind is that pizza by the slice can add up — if you’re thinking of grabbing more than two, a fresh pie might be the smarter move. Either way, I’m thrilled to have another amazing spot nearby!“

We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. Their expertise is off the charts, and I highly recommend.“

- raw fish quality looked decent and fresh
- sushi quality is superb for being made in advance
- prices : very reasonable

Only suggestions for a better overall customer experience:
- better organization for the refrigerators
- it's too tight and not enough space to open refrigerator doors without bumping people or bothering others while shopping
- the Yama in LA felt like it has a better organization to it, the space size appears to be similar from what I recall, I may be wrong

Having said that:
- this place is phenomenal and you should definitely give it a try
- staff is incredibly nice
- the quality is top notch
- variety/options are decent
- you won't be disappointed and you'll definitely find yourself returning for more“

The wax beans were a standout - snappy and bright with serrano chile, toasted hazelnuts, and a tangy Frenchie vinaigrette. Incredibly underrated and unassuming Dim Sum place in the heart of SGV. I've been here before and every time there's a line outside, due to the sheer quality of the food and the excellent service. I went in a Friday at around 1:30pm and our server (I think his American name was David, or Daniel, not fully sure) was 10/10. He was hustling, taking orders, bussing plates to the tables and even in the midst of this hectic work dynamic, he was at all times a total pleasure to deal with. Shoutout to him! Also, the food is so amazing: some heavy hitters: Shrimp Har Gow, Shrimp Shiu Mai, Beef Rice Roll, Baked BBQ Pork, Spare Ribs Rice, Sticky Rice Wrap. We ate more items but those are the ones that for sure stand out. 10/10, pls go check it out if you haven't yet.

FEB 2024 REVIEW:

This place is fantastic. The amount of traffic and people it moves, even on a rainy Monday at noon, is a testament to how good the food is. Seating is hard to come by, so you might have to wait outside. The menu is super diverse and you're bound to find something that would fit anyone's tastes or preferences. I went with a friend that's originally from 香港 (Hong Kong) so he was the one making recommendations and helping us pick the right dishes. In no particular order, this is what we tried: Shrimp Har Gow; Beef Meat Ball; Sticky Rice Wrap; Beef Rice Roll; Baked BBQ Pork; Egg Yolk Bun; Spare Ribs Rice; Veggie with Shrimp Egg Roll. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. The Shrimp Har Gow, Egg Yolk Bun and the Baked BBQ Pork are three things that stood out to me, but that's just because I have a particularly sweet tooth. Everything else was just as good, though. Highly-recommended place if you're looking to foray into authentic Hong Kong food. Parking is a tad difficult in this shopping Plaza, so please keep that in mind (also, this particular restaurant is in the top left corner of the Plaza, almost at the end of it).“

“We came here for lunch on a Sunday and waited for 45 mins before being seated. There were only two women working the front dining room and since service was slow, table turnovers were slow too. So expect a wait but the food was very good.

We like that they have pictures on their menus. We ordered the dan dan noodles, the chong qing noodles (my favorite), the pork chop noodle, youpo noodle, and xiao long bao. All were good and portions were large.

I do like the spicy mala flavors and that's in quite a lot of their dishes. Mild still has a kick to it, fyi.

The parking lot is too small for the restaurants in shopping area as is common in a lot of Asian areas. But there are plenty of free street parking around.“

“Came here for my Grandma’s 80th birthday. Was recommended this spot for Peking Duck by a friend and it did not disappoint. The duck meat was juicy and duck skin was crispy.
