“I’ve been to the DTLA Arts District location so many times, so I was shocked (in the best way) to discover this one so close to home. The space is modern, clean, and has a cool vibe — though I still lean toward the unique Arts District atmosphere. What really stands out is the pizza: same incredible quality as DTLA. Blindfold me and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

The only thing to keep in mind is that pizza by the slice can add up — if you’re thinking of grabbing more than two, a fresh pie might be the smarter move. Either way, I’m thrilled to have another amazing spot nearby!“

“A Hidden pizza place on the second floor. We would have completely missed it if it wasn’t for the sign on the street. We noticed a lot of people coming in for pick up but decided to dine in. We picked the Biggio flavor and the pizza came out in 20 minutes. First bite was delicious. The sauce is tart and flavorful. The crust is chewy and light. Meat was crispy and plentiful. The price for the quality is amazing and in my husband words, “bomb”. We wish we found this place sooner and will definitely come back.“

“We came in very close to closing time. The staff was very polite, friendly and quick with service. We really appreciated it, especially since we came after Disneyland. The kids wanted to eat pizza for dinner and we got the drive over with to eat closer to home. Because of closed lanes on the freeway, we barely made it in time. Every bite is enjoyable with every ingridient being represented especially the cheese and dough..My new go too, thank you for opening up here in Glendale. I can wait to try the other items on the menue. Also forgetting the pleasant customer service, and helpfulness, a forgotten trait..“

“We came on a Sunday, and it was nearly empty. We were able to order right away, and our food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the Caesar salad, baked mac and cheese, and a pepperoni pizza. Everything was delicious, and we really enjoyed our meal.“

“I grew up in this area 68 years ago and now live out of State. My family has a nearby home. While visiting, we stumbled on the Heights and they are the bomb! 5 stars hands down! They have excellent sandwiches among other great dishes. The sandwich rolls are the most delicious crispy French bread you ever had! They don't skimp on the sandwich contents no matter which one you choose. Oscar provides outstanding counter service and even let's me change out a few ingredients at no additional charge! Ignore any line, this place is worth any wait.

“This place was referred to me by a co-worker, since I don’t know the area very well. What a great referral the pizza is like you build it how you want, but with an old skool pizzeria. It isn’t like Pieology. They have canned soda drinks, or two liter bottle soda, no alcohol. Vito the guy who made my pizza to perfection was telling me they have a really good Sunday BBQ from ribs, Tri-tip, 1/2 chicken, etc. They are only open in the evening hours, and the pizza is good size portion. Their small is the size of most mediums at other places. I highly recommend this place. A little more in price, but well worth the fresh ingredients and they won’t take tips.“

“We first found Big Al's Pizzeria on IG. All of their pizzas caught our eye because of the unique flavors that they serve. We know that often times when you see something on IG and go experience a place in person it may not be as expected. That was NOT the case with Big Al's Pizzeria. WOW!! You can tell that they use High Quality, Fresh Ingredients and take pride in their creations, especially with everything being homemade!! The pizza dough has the perfect fluffiness, chewy texture and flavor. The wings WOW! Definitely in our top 5 of favorites! So crispy and flavorful! OOh plus the Brisket Sandwich and the bread they use... ufffff!!! Don't forget about Dessert! Even if you fill up on pizza you better at least take a slice home with you because IT IS WORTH IT!! They are large, creamy, flavorful and just AMAZEBALLS! We got the Tiramisu and it was NEXT LEVEL! Everything is OUT OF THIS WORLD and we can't recommend them enough!“
