“I had a Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea with no ice and level 1 (of 5) sweetness. I really enjoy freshly brewed milk tea (freshly brewed after order is placed) compared to milk tea prepared with tea that was brewed well in advance, had been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long, and used only after the order is placed. I definitely recommend to try their boba tea.”

“My husband and I have been going to Mari Vees a few times in the past few months after our trip to Huntington Library. It's a cute little place. Victor, the manager, and his staff are friendly, very attentive, and always pleasant. My husband had a few different breakfast dishes which he liked them all. I love their chicken tortillas soup. We look forward to going there again soon.”

“If you haven't been to the The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens for a while... you may not realize they now and growing have 5 different locations to eat within the gardens. Noodle house in the Chinese Gardens, Tea house and patio Cafe in the Rose Garden area. Tea Room now allows you to make reservations on Open Table. Cafe 1919 has a great variety including the Border Grill, Sushi and much more. ... Its all a great compliment to the Fine Art ,gardens ,research and events.... Not a member - The Red Car Cafe and 1919 Cafe are towards the entrance and can be enjoyed by the without entrance fee to the gardens in a great relaxing setting .”

“I was pleasantly surprised! Everything was fresh and flavorful. We spent $40 for two meals, not cheap but it was definitely worth the price. The salad was delicious!”

“Not salty, good HK food to bring parents to and hang out to catch up. Their desserts...warm ginger 🫚 milk, double milk pudding is real good. tofu W/ginger is silky.
Squab Claypot rice also good.
Chicken mushroom Claypot was good we came back twice in a week!”

“What a peaceful and beautiful place! I went early around 7:30am and got myself a crunch A Latte and Chilaquiles. Both were sOOO good! The barista is a sweetheart! I didn’t feel rushed while I was looking at the Menu since it was my first time (Definitely not last!) that coffee woke me up! I love that they have outdoor seating.”

“My visit to the his place was few months ago. While I was working nearby I decided to look for a place to grab a bite for lunch. The nearest one was this amazing little spot located along the main street, b careful, don't speed or you will miss it. Since I wanted something quick I got the curry to go with a couple of milk teas. They were both absolutely delicious, for the amount of food the price is super reasonable. I will have to go back and try a new dish”

“They definitely have some unique flavors to try, many of which I haven’t seen before in any other boba places. I really like the cassia milk tea
The prices though, are also higher than most other places. I paid $24 for 3 drinks, one of which was $8.65 (the popcorn milk tea with brown sugar tapiochi).
The drinks are good and the flavors can’t be found most other places, but I don’t personally think they’re over $8 worth it
I’d definitely only come rarely for an occasional indulgence”

“Came by after a long walk in the heat, and the menu had nice variety! The prices are obviously a bit pricey, but it provides a nice and cozy environment. I ordered a Strawberry Lemonade that was nicely sour and refreshing! The staff were also really nice and understanding despite the constant stream of customers.”

“Hard to say what was better between the staff and the food. The staff was extremely attentive and knowledgeable regarding the menu. They answered all the questions and provided extra information as well. We had the All You Can Eat and it was a fantastic decision, as we were able to try most of the menue. All dishes were amazing and we came out ahead vs a la carte. Highly recommended.”
