If you haven't been to the The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens for a while... you may not realize they now and growing have 5 different locations to eat within the gardens. Noodle house in the Chinese Gardens, Tea house and patio Cafe in the Rose Garden area. Tea Room now allows you to make reservations on Open Table. Our experience having tea at the Huntington was lovely. We selected the lower priced version and it was quite adequate. The service was excellent in all aspects. The general ambiance was very nice until the room filled up, then it was very noisy. Most of the diners were dressed nicely except one woman who was wearing an oversized T shirt and denim shorts. Of course, her attire had no direct effect on me, but it tends to have a negative effect on the ambiance. Maybe Open Table...read full review
We had such a lovely day! Our tea and tea service were both delicious. After reading the reviews I was a little concerned. It was just such a nice way to celebrate a bday! The best part was our guest of honor has Gluten & Dairy allergies and they accommodated her in the nicest way. Not a big deal, her service was as lovely and as tasty as ours, kudos to the chef! Not many places do it this way. Such a special place with special people and tea that felt special! We will come again!!!
