“This place is amazing. My friend made reservations for us about a month in advance. We were seated right away. We had the options of either seafood or beef menu. We choose the beef menu. This is my first dining experience so I was looking forward to everything. This was a unique 12 course experience and the staff here did an amazing job. Every item that came out was very good. Tucked inside a hotel you wouldn't know about this place but I am glad my friend found it. We now made it a yearly thing to come back here and have dinner here now“

One of the owners or managers was walking around checking on customers which was so nice. My mom and I both got the chili mee -- I got mine exactly as advertised (spicy!) and my mom opted to go with medium spicy. We also shared a bowl of their beef meatball soup. Food came out quickly and for $5.50-7.50 a bowl, the portion was generous. Presentation was great, and upon our first bite, we couldn't help but chime at the same time, "Mmmm. Enak sekali!" (Very good in Indonesian).The noodles were perfectly cooked and moist. It had a nice 'bite' to it, so no soggy noods here. And the flavor was on point. Even the beef ball soup was tasty -- simple, and it reminded me of bakso, which is beef ball noodle soup, a very traditional Indonesian staple, which is delicious, esp on a cold, rainy day. The meatball was super tender. We loved everything we ate and will be back!My only critiques are the chili mee was definitely SPICY. If you're a spicy food lover, you may enjoy this as-is. “I love the vibes of this place! There’s a paper menu for you to check off what you like and your food will come with side dishes such as steamed egg and kimchi. The skewers come raw and it will slowly cook over the grill. You will also have a tray and you have the option to dip your meats in hot sauce, regular cumin or spiced cumin. “2/18/24: 4.5/5Probably the best handmade dumplings and noodles I’ve had so far in LA and as good as most of the good local shops I’ve been to in China and Asia. Dumplings are hand made and kept in cold storage until cooked to order. Noodles are batched for dough and then rolled and hand cut fresh to order. The dumpling skins and wide noodles have the perfect Q bouncy chew texture. The dumplings can be either boiled, pan fried, or steamed. The shop doesn’t use MSG, which isn’t really a problem, but does mean their food is well balanced and just salty and savory enough. Their beef noodle soup is red braised and may appear lighter in color, but still packs a beefy flavor w/ perfectly cooked tender beef. Their in house sauces like spicy chili oil for wontons and hoisin sauce for beef roll are some of the best I’ve had and also well balanced. Definitely get the sesame pockets that have a nice thin crunchy shell. The pan fried buns are fluffy pillowy w/ a nice thin crispy bottom. The green onion pancake is good although just needed some salt. Think Noodle St still has the best beef roll pancake but You’s is pretty great still. And if you want a drink, try the fresh taro milk smoothie. The owner was super nice to talk to and service was great. You can order from the menu or they have a digital POS machine w/ Chinese+English and pictures.“
“Chinese Café serves amazing, delicious, healthy Chinese food! This food is so good! We had the food delivered. They were on time, the food was hot and fresh, and each item was boxed in plastic containers. Egg rolls and rice were in traditional take out paper containers. If an item has pan-fried noodles, then the noodles and the sauce is packaged separately so the dish itself will be fresh. Also, each box for a part of an item was labeled so we'd know what goes with which food item. Soup came in soup containers and also in plastic bags so the soup wouldn't spill accidentally. The food is traditional Cantonese Chinese food. We ordered BBQ Pork, Won Ton Soup, Green Pepper Beef, Chicken Egg Foo Young, Beef Pan Fried Noodles, Sweet and Sour Pork, and Vegetable Egg Rolls. The flavors of the meat and vegetables are fresh! The egg rolls are crispy and delicious! The food is low in sodium! Fortune cookies were free with great fortunes!
