“We ordered Rose Teokbokki in first visit. I really loved it . Then we visited again to try the OG chicken Katsu and I really loved it. I would definitely go back for it. Portion size was very good for the price. Teokbokki size was huge. The service is very good .Very kind staff and customer friendly. I loved the ambience and the local Korean vedios running in the television which made me feel like I was in South Korea. The staff gave us miso soup as complimentary which I really appreciate. I would order it in my next visit as it was tasty. Overall I would definitely recommend for my friends and family.“

“Food was amazing. I ordered the pumpkin curry, flavor was great, default spice level was spot on for a pasty boy like me. Service was great. The location is a little odd but kinda adds to the charm. It always pretty quiet in there when I went so it's possible when there's more activity in the community center thing it could be a little less charming. I will definitely be coming back.“

“Lee’s cafe is a Taiwanese-style cafe with a hint of Hong Kong sparkle, serving the perfect mix of Taiwanese and Hong Kong food. The toast is absolutely marvelous, and I truly believe it is worth every penny. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the other dishes. The sesame cold noodles were good, but missing something—I felt they didn’t quite hit the mark. The wontons were delicious, but the braised pork belly rice was your typical run-of-the-mill rice. Nothing terribly special, but delicious nonetheless. The HK milk tea, however, leaned very watery and missed the signature strong tea taste of a HK milk tea.
Also, their bathroom sink was broken and put as a “use at your own risk”. Hopefully they have fixed this since my visit!
Yet, through all this, I would still return to Liu’s kitchen—for their toast!“

“Met two friends (we are 43-60) here for dinner tonight and we had a lovely time. We came early at 5:15, we had one of each of the skewers, the salmon curry and the sprouted cauliflower. We thoroughly enjoyed it all.

“I had an excellent lunch at Sushi Yuzu. The restaurant has a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, and everything I ordered tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

I started with the tuna sampler, which was beautifully presented and offered several different cuts and preparations of tuna. Each one had its own distinct flavor and texture, and the quality of the fish really stood out. It was a great way to sample the restaurant’s sushi and a perfect start to lunch.

The highlight, though, was the spicy tuna crispy rice. The rice was crisp and golden on the outside without being overly hard or greasy, while the spicy tuna was fresh, flavorful, and nicely balanced. It had just enough heat without overpowering the fish. I’d even dare to say Sushi Yuzu’s spicy tuna crispy rice was better than Katsuya’s, which is a very high bar.

The food felt refined without being fussy, and the quality made a casual lunch feel special. Sushi Yuzu is definitely worth visiting if you enjoy fresh sushi, especially tuna. I’ll absolutely be returning to try more of the menu.“

I was losing hope in LA restaurants (we're visiting from NorCal) but this was honestly the best Thai food I've ever had! We tried the Panang Curry with Tofu and the Drunken Noodles with Tofu. Today as I approached the counter to get my food, a homeless girl walks in barges right next to me as my order is being processed and given to me, and asks “y’all got any miso soup?!?” Stinky and obviously covered in filth, no bath for probably years and a dirty soiled blanket wrapped around her, I was instantaneously disgusted. Miso soup was given to her and I don’t know what else because I got outta there before she could even ask me for money or whatever! You feed a pigeon and what happens??? A dozen or more come. This is a simile; a point I’m trying to make. Homeless are the root of the problems here in Koreatown. You feeding them is the hand the feeds the problem.“

Stopped by Chibiscus for lunch, and it totally blew me away. I ordered the ramen, and it was a solid 10/10.
The broth was rich, flavorful, and had the perfect depth to it. Exactly what you look for in a great ramen.
The toppings were incredibly fresh. The egg was cooked to perfection with that nice, jammy yolk, the bean sprouts added a great crunch, and the meat was super tender.
The portion size is great—definitely leaves you full and satisfied.

Overall the meat and marinade was great and the special items such as chicken heart and pork skin was crispy and good. The service was decent if you waived the staff down. “This is a nice little cozy spot for parties of all sizes. The atmosphere is chill with super cool seevice by Min. We ordered a couple of lunch specials that satisfied our cravings. Since my party is super picky it’s good to know they offer a little bit of everything. Their Seafood Udon was very flavorful and perfect for a chilly day or any day at that. The Bento Boxes were also winners with presentation and flavor. Since the dishes were so good we also decided to try out their Seafood Udon which was nice and spicy and just right for our tastebuds.
