“This is a newly opened restaurant, so the environment inside the store is very clean and the furniture looks new. There are not too many choices on the menu. The Hainanese Chicken Rice is very tasty, but the chicken is slightly less umami. The Bamboo Shoots and Chicken Soup Noodles have a sweet soup base, which is worth a try.“

“My husband wanted a date night and I’ve been wanting to check out Omaniku for a long time. He had the meat menu and I had the seafood menu. Everything was delicious. My only disappointment was my lobster tail course. It was extremely sandy, but the flavors were great. I thought I had chipped a tooth or my Invisalign attachment because it was so sandy. I did mention it to the manager when he stopped by at the end of our meal to ask for feedback, but he did not offer anything else. “Liangpi LA is the most delicious. As a Xi'an native, I have eaten all over Xi'an restaurants in Los Angeles. This is the first time I have tasted something so delicious. In other restaurants, they are either not vinegary enough or the dishes are messy.
The attitude of the boss and waiters is very good.“

“My family comes here all the time to buy their frozen dumplings. I had never sat down and dined in before but wow! The lady who runs the shop is a sweet woman who makes everything from scratch. Food does take more time that average to arrive so please enjoy your company while you wait as the two person crew in the kitchen handmakes each dish to order.

I ordered the beef noodle soup and the noodles were handmade to order. The beef noodle soup was by far the best ive ever had. I also ordered the beef roll pancakes, sesame onion pancakes, and red bean filled pancakes. They were all so fresh and tasty. I also ordered drinks but that may be an acquired taste.

Overall, such a comfortable experience. It's like receiving grandma's cooking. Such a homey vibe.

“We have been coming here for years and it has never changed. Been just as great and the first visit. Every item on the menu is good and the portions are big. This is a must visit and try new items on the menu until you have found your favorite.“

The restaurant was super warm, coming in for this in summer is really not a favourable option. Steamed egg in cups were given as complimentary.

Vegeggies were relatively more expensive than meat options, wish that they could do more choices.

Rmb to check with the waitors about the numbers of food per skewer before ordering.

“Chinese Café serves amazing, delicious, healthy Chinese food! This food is so good! We had the food delivered. They were on time, the food was hot and fresh, and each item was boxed in plastic containers. Egg rolls and rice were in traditional take out paper containers. If an item has pan-fried noodles, then the noodles and the sauce is packaged separately so the dish itself will be fresh. Also, each box for a part of an item was labeled so we'd know what goes with which food item. Soup came in soup containers and also in plastic bags so the soup wouldn't spill accidentally. The food is traditional Cantonese Chinese food. We ordered BBQ Pork, Won Ton Soup, Green Pepper Beef, Chicken Egg Foo Young, Beef Pan Fried Noodles, Sweet and Sour Pork, and Vegetable Egg Rolls. The flavors of the meat and vegetables are fresh! The egg rolls are crispy and delicious! The food is low in sodium! Fortune cookies were free with great fortunes! I highly recommend Chinese Café. 5 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“This is a really nice cafe in Downey. They have free wifi, many snacks and nice boba. The boba menu is great. The smoothie and fruit tea are nice too. I think the standard menu is a bit too sweet for me. The snacks are like frozen snacks and took out to fry. Staff was very nice. Clean restroom. Great vibes for working or chatting.“

“We love Joy. My family have been regulars for many many years. Food is awesome. Service is great, servers friendly. Only bummer, when we, as a family, went to celebrate my birthday on Saturday, we presented a gift certificate my husband & I were gifted from my Kids. It was issued at the end of 2019, expired at the end of 2020. Because of Covid we did not venture out until late last year. They did not not honor it. “Wow one of the strongest standing Hong Kong western restaurants in SGV! I have been to this restaurant a few times as a child and it's still going despite Great Recession and COVID pandemic! Last time I came, it brought back a lot of childhood memories and the food was still amazing! Will come back in the future!“

“Great bakery tucked away in a small trip mall on Las Tunas and Mission. Although small, the baked goods are so good here. They are also very creative with their pastries. This is the only shop I can find gigantic pineapple buns. One of the bun here equals to probable 4 to 5 regular buns that you would typically find at dim sum. They can also custom made cakes from 6 inch to whatever sizes you want with various different flavors and designs. We just ordered a 6 in chestnut cake with rose flower decoration for my mom's birthday. Order was done efficiently and timely. We ordered the cake one day before and was able to pick it up by next morning. I also like their Chinese pastries. One of my favorites is their Portuguese egg tart or Pastéis de Nata as they called the Custer in Portugal. The skin is so crispy and the egg tart filling tasted so good. I just can't stop eating them. Probably I have to run a couple of miles the next day to burn off the calories. There are so many great pastries here. I just have to come back to try them all. The owner is so friendly and she is always very helpful to introduce us to new products.“

It consisted of rice, vegetables, chicken, shrimp and steak. All of it was tasty and I was able to eat twice on that combo platter. I went on a day where they had a special going and realized that they outdid some of the other hibachi trucks I've tried. I recommend checking them out and will definitely see them again.
