“This is a really nice cafe in Downey. They have free wifi, many snacks and nice boba. The boba menu is great. The smoothie and fruit tea are nice too. I think the standard menu is a bit too sweet for me. The snacks are like frozen snacks and took out to fry. Staff was very nice. Clean restroom. Great vibes for working or chatting.“

“My husband wanted a date night and I’ve been wanting to check out Omaniku for a long time. He had the meat menu and I had the seafood menu. Everything was delicious. My only disappointment was my lobster tail course. It was extremely sandy, but the flavors were great. I thought I had chipped a tooth or my Invisalign attachment because it was so sandy. I did mention it to the manager when he stopped by at the end of our meal to ask for feedback, but he did not offer anything else. I would still come back because of the excellent service and value for the quality of food we received.“

“The drunken noodles with crispy pork were amazing. The crispy pork is pork belly and it stayed crispy even when I reheated. They were very savory with tones of soy sauce and oyster sauce balanced with the acidity of the bell peppers (and I think tomatoes). The noodles were very soft. It’s a nostalgic type of taste. The only problem is the oil… so much oil.“

“This is a newly opened restaurant, so the environment inside the store is very clean and the furniture looks new. There are not too many choices on the menu. The Hainanese Chicken Rice is very tasty, but the chicken is slightly less umami. The Bamboo Shoots and Chicken Soup Noodles have a sweet soup base, which is worth a try.“

“My family comes here all the time to buy their frozen dumplings. I had never sat down and dined in before but wow! The lady who runs the shop is a sweet woman who makes everything from scratch. Food does take more time that average to arrive so please enjoy your company while you wait as the two person crew in the kitchen handmakes each dish to order.

I ordered the beef noodle soup and the noodles were handmade to order. The beef noodle soup was by far the best ive ever had. I also ordered the beef roll pancakes, sesame onion pancakes, and red bean filled pancakes. They were all so fresh and tasty. I also ordered drinks but that may be an acquired taste.

Overall, such a comfortable experience. It's like receiving grandma's cooking. Such a homey vibe.

“Liangpi LA is the most delicious. As a Xi'an native, I have eaten all over Xi'an restaurants in Los Angeles. This is the first time I have tasted something so delicious. In other restaurants, they are either not vinegary enough or the dishes are messy.
The attitude of the boss and waiters is very good.“

The restaurant was super warm, coming in for this in summer is really not a favourable option. Steamed egg in cups were given as complimentary.

Vegeggies were relatively more expensive than meat options, wish that they could do more choices.

Rmb to check with the waitors about the numbers of food per skewer before ordering.

I won't be needing the other Acai place, this will be my go to place instead. more vegan options, better toppings (loved the cashew crunch typing), and they didn't charge extra for nut-butters. “Great bakery tucked away in a small trip mall on Las Tunas and Mission. Although small, the baked goods are so good here. They are also very creative with their pastries. This is the only shop I can find gigantic pineapple buns. One of the bun here equals to probable 4 to 5 regular buns that you would typically find at dim sum. They can also custom made cakes from 6 inch to whatever sizes you want with various different flavors and designs. We just ordered a 6 in chestnut cake with rose flower decoration for my mom's birthday. Order was done efficiently and timely. We ordered the cake one day before and was able to pick it up by next morning. I also like their Chinese pastries. One of my favorites is their Portuguese egg tart or Pastéis de Nata as they called the Custer in Portugal. The skin is so crispy and the egg tart filling tasted so good. I just can't stop eating them. Probably I have to run a couple of miles the next day to burn off the calories. There are so many great pastries here. I just have to come back to try them all. The owner is so friendly and she is always very helpful to introduce us to new products.“

“Checked them out 2 weeks ago and I was impressed. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The quality of the food was on point and the price for the meal was way worth it. It consisted of rice, vegetables, chicken, shrimp and steak. All of it was tasty and I was able to eat twice on that combo platter. I’ve only ever had katsu sandos from Japan at local convenience stores (Family Mart & 7-11), they were delicious however they weren’t super fresh and weren’t crispy due to having to be microwaved. I wanted a taste of Japan so sought out some Katsu sandos and landed here. It far exceeded my expectations. I got the Rosemary Katsu Sando with Spicy Mayo. The chicken was audibly crispy and fresh, the bread nice and soft, and the spicy mayo was the perfect level of spice and the perfect compliment to the sandwich. I got a side of waffle fries which were arguably the best waffle fries i’ve ever had, they were perfectly crispy and had a light seasoning that gave them an amazing taste and set them apart from the waffle fry competition. Nice portions on the sando however it’d be nice to fit in some more fries. I had a bite of one with berry sauce and it was too sweet for my liking but still good, i’ll be sticking with the spicy mayo (or maybe try the baja chipotle sauce).
