I won't be needing the other Acai place, this will be my go to place instead. more vegan options, better toppings (loved the cashew crunch typing), and they didn't charge extra for nut-butters. “This place is incredible! I’ve only ever had katsu sandos from Japan at local convenience stores (Family Mart & 7-11), they were delicious however they weren’t super fresh and weren’t crispy due to having to be microwaved. I wanted a taste of Japan so sought out some Katsu sandos and landed here. It far exceeded my expectations. I got the Rosemary Katsu Sando with Spicy Mayo. The chicken was audibly crispy and fresh, the bread nice and soft, and the spicy mayo was the perfect level of spice and the perfect compliment to the sandwich. I got a side of waffle fries which were arguably the best waffle fries i’ve ever had, they were perfectly crispy and had a light seasoning that gave them an amazing taste and set them apart from the waffle fry competition. Nice portions on the sando however it’d be nice to fit in some more fries. I had a bite of one with berry sauce and it was too sweet for my liking but still good, i’ll be sticking with the spicy mayo (or maybe try the baja chipotle sauce). I wish they had more drink options such as homemade lemonade.Katsu Bar: 9.6/10“

“If you like dim sum - here is a place for you ! They serve dim sum all day long unlike some other places dim sum is served before 2 pm. In addition to dim sum, they do have some dinner dishes under ‘chef’s recommendation’. We ordered eggplants in garlic sauce - it was really good! Their dim sum is good with fresh ingredients !“

“Been here twice for a takeout, once for garlic noodles and once for the vermicelli. Both were delicious.
The chicken I had with garlic noodles was well-seasoned and not too salty, and wasn't dry. The pork I had with the vermicelli was also well-seasoned. The garlic noodles came with thinly sliced, sauteed beans of some kind and had a nice crispy texture. The vermicelli came with sliced almonds, lettuce, bean sprouts, Thai basil, and cucumber and were fresh.
It's a relatively small shop, so a large party of 6+ should probably do a takeout.“

“The drunken noodles with crispy pork were amazing. The crispy pork is pork belly and it stayed crispy even when I reheated. They were very savory with tones of soy sauce and oyster sauce balanced with the acidity of the bell peppers (and I think tomatoes). The noodles were very soft. It’s a nostalgic type of taste. The only problem is the oil… so much oil.“

“The spot is located on the premises of the Garden Grove Home Depot. They have three tables set up right by their spot with a total of seven chairs.

The staff, which included a man and a woman were nice.

I had the beef teriyaki bowl and I was surprised it was so delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection, the teriyaki sauce was not too rich in consistency or watery, and not overwhelmingly sweet, it was perfect. The rice had the perfect texture too. 5/5

I also had a corn dog and it was the first thing I ate. Hehe he, I was pretty hungry. It was indeed better than other corn dogs I've had.

I also witnessed a belligerent woman who was being so rude and disrespectful to the staff and the staff remained calm and very respectful after the woman was making all sorts of rude comments. Props to them for handling the situation with the utmost professionalism and respect despite the way they were being mistreated.

Overall, I had a positive experience with some delicious beef teriyaki and I'll be going for more. If you have not visited them I highly recommend you do.“

“This is a really nice cafe in Downey. They have free wifi, many snacks and nice boba. The boba menu is great. The smoothie and fruit tea are nice too. “It's one of my top choices for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. They are famous with "Nui Xào Bò". But my favorite food here is "Banh My Xiu Mai + Fried egg". This place is better than the original one that is next to it as it's a non-smoking area so it's easier to breathe here.“

“We were looking for a Banh Mi shop just for a quick bite. We found Banh Mi Saigon, they did not disappoint. One of the best Vietnamese sandwiches we ever had, and we've eaten many from different Banh Mi places. These guys made and baked their bread in-house. The bread was soft and crisp and not too much of the breading inside (the extra carbs that none of us want or need). My daughter and I got the grilled pork banh mi, the meat was perfectly seasoned and the pickled veggies were crisp and tasty. Next time we're in the area definitely will come back. The shop is clean and spacious with plenty of seats inside and out. Service is fast and the young man was polite and quick to take the customers.“

“The bill was $168 for 4 dishes+2 beers+ 1 hot tea pot + 1 hot water pot. We had 4 people for dinner. The ripped off is $20 for the 1 hot tea + 1 water pot(charge $5 per person). The manager credited back only 1 time favor(not second time in the future) of $10 for hot water pot after i complained that we ordered 2 beers for drink. It was ridiculous since a bottle of beer only $3. We will not go back to this place again. New customers please stay away from this restaurant. This restaurant's food is not that good and ripped off.“

“I love the Chinese food from this location. Been coming here for years. I normally order the noodles, orange chicken and chicken mushrooms with squash! Their soups are also delicious I normally get it with shrimp and chicken. And I always make sure to get egg rolls. I come here frequently when I'm in the mood for Chinese food.“
