About Karē Japanese Curry

Karē Japanese Curry is a popular spot known for its tasty and well-cooked Japanese dishes. Many customers enjoy their Chicken Katsu, which is often described as juicy, tender, and flavorful. The chicken is typically thigh meat, cooked just right, with a crispy coating, and sometimes has a little kick but not too spicy. The curry served alongside is flavorful and complements the dishes well, with some guests adding chili powder for a spicy kick. The shrimp tempura is highly praised for being light, crispy, and reasonably priced at $6 for five pieces, considered a steal by some. The portion sizes are fulfilling, making it a good choice for those seeking comfort food after a long day or a busy outing. Service is consistently described as quick, helpful, and kind, with some noting the absence of tipping options as a positive feature. Customers also appreciate the convenience of easy online ordering for pickup. While some find the curry flavor decent but not extraordinary, overall, the restaurant offers solid food with friendly service in a no-frills atmosphere. It’s a great place for a quick, satisfying meal, especially if craving Japanese curry, fried chicken gyoza, or other Japanese favorites.

Yesterday when I was trying to order my food the Asian girl at the front was too busy to even talk to me because she was on the phone while I stood there for 10 minutes trying to ask a question. After I got my food I nicely asked for some extra sauces and she gave me a look with attitude. Someone needs to train this girl on how to provide good customer...read full review
The vegetable gyoza is tasty. It wasn't busy that day. They have a clean restaurant. It satisfied my taste buds for the moment.
First time discovering Rodeo 39, I ordered Chicken Katsu and Shrimp plates. The food was very tasty and well cooked with a side of delicious Katsu sauce for dipping. The Katsu had a little kick to it but not too spicy. The only disappointment was no vegetable offerings even as sides. I would have liked a side of vegetable tempura.
The chicken was cooked just right, great taste and juicy. Mine looked like breast meat unlike other reviews that said thighs.
It's probably...read full review
