“Checked out Gomen Ramen in Stanton and gotta say this was legit some of the best ramen I've had in a minute. Didn't really know what to expect going in, but we tried a few different dishes and came away really impressed. My favorite was easily the Hiyashi Chuka, which is a chilled ramen topped with veggies and served with a spicy sauce you pour over it. The flavor was amazing and had this really clean, refreshing taste to it. Definitely one of the better ramen dishes I've had recently. The Kakuni Deluxe Ramen was another standout. It's loaded with pork belly and shredded pork kakuni, and the broth was really flavorful. We also tried the Oroshi Soba, Tenshin Fried Rice, and Combo Tempura, which were all good additions to the meal. The restaurant itself has a cool manga and anime theme going on, which I really liked too. Overall, really enjoyed everything and was pleasantly surprised by how good the ramen was. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.“

The pancit was also great, and I loved the way the vegetables were cooked. But the star of the show was the adobo. It was so tender and flavorful, and I could have eaten it all day. The service was also top-notch. Their crew was very friendly and helpful, and they made sure that we had everything we needed. The "Tindera" also gave us some great recommendations, and we didn't regret following them. The atmosphere at Kainan sa Kanto is casual and relaxed. “If you’re looking for top-tier takeout, Teriyaki Wa Sushi absolutely delivered. I ordered the three item bento with teriyaki chicken, shrimp tempura, and a Crunchy Roll, and everything held up incredibly well by the time I got home. The teriyaki chicken was juicy and packed with amazing flavor that perfect balance of savory, slightly sweet, and rich umami that really stands out. Every bite tasted fresh and well-seasoned, not rushed or generic like a lot of takeout spots.

What really impressed me was how both the flavor and texture stayed on point. The shrimp tempura had a clean, crispy crunch without any greasiness, and the Crunchy Roll was fresh, flavorful, and layered with great texture. Nothing got soggy thanks to the smart packaging, everything was separated and neatly put together. “First time here. You can sit on your own or wait until they give you the menus. It took a while to get attended and ordered a coke can. Took a bit for the drink to be given so the owner gave me another one for free for the waiting, The pho is a perfect size and the price was $13 for a regular one. I got the combination one which was amazing and used the sweet sauce given. Small business and sometimes they have live music.“

But to be honest the customer service is not very good. Yesterday when I was trying to order my food the Asian girl at the front was too busy to even talk to me because she was on the phone while I stood there for 10 minutes trying to ask a question. After I got my food I nicely asked for some extra sauces and she gave me a look with attitude. Someone needs to train this girl on how to provide good customer service because of that youll be losing your customers no matter how good your food is.“

“I'm so used to getting rice that is room temperature at best. So I ordered the chicken shawarma rice bowl, and the first thing I notice is the rice is warm . . . like really warm. I also have a fear of really hot spicy food because it makes me sick. No problem here - the chicken was so delicious, and not "hot" spicy at all. Just a really great flavor. My friend ordered the same, and her reaction was the same. Great flavor, so tasty! The service was great too! But the very best part was the size of the serving - it was such a generous serving, I had to ask for a to-go container, and enjoyed it again later that day. “My parents, who love loach stew, always stop by and eat it when they come to Calico. My parents admit that it is a restaurant that is thicker and better than most loach stew restaurants in Korea. The side dishes are prepared well and with sincerity, and everything is delicious. The servers are all friendly and I don't know if it's the owner, but there is a man there who is really friendly and makes me feel good every time I come.“

“The hubby and I was looking for fresh concha. We wanted fresh soft concha like the once we’ve had in Mexico. We found this place and they delivered exactly what we were looking for and more. They have so many options. This is a no frill place, it’s straight a bakery and they roll the stacks of trays out on the floor. But what you will get are freshly made products because they make it right there on site.“

And I was actually on my way to anaheim, to get filipino food, and I remembered this spot as I was driving down western and decided to go here instead. The atmosphere is similar to when I was a kid. I ordered the menudo and aside of corn tortillas. Let menudo was a little on the blind side, but they do give you oregano, chili flakes and lemon, and that did help mind you. The food is no longer made by me jente. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't my favorite. But don't let that detour you from checking it out if you haven't been there. Now, onto the tamales, which I got 2 chicken and 2 pork, I haven't tried the chicken yet, but the pork. It's pretty dang good. Plenty of meat and flavor. I will definitely be going back to try other menu items and for sure going back to get more tamales. The lady that was working the register. It's very kind and generous, and I feel that that makes a restaurant ten times better.“

“I popped in and ordered the mongolian spicy chicken. The price is reasonable, but as other reviews note it was lacking some meat. Not bad but not generous. Same with vegetables. The flavor was decent and it was much hotter than I expected. I like it that hot but for most people reading this, it will make you cry. This is fast and good in a pinch.“

“My Vietnamese wife knew she wanted to have her wedding at Crystal Banquet when we've attended her cousin's wedding here in the past. What struck out to us was the beautiful venue and the food! I'm telling you firsthand, this is the best Asian banquet food (& plentiful too!). We got so many compliments from our guests.

Owner was friendly & easy to work with. The day was perfect and everything ran smoothly! There is parking in the front with ample parking in the back for my 300 guests. Recommend having your wedding here!!“
