“It is a family owned restaurant serving yummy Vietnamese dishes that are vegan. We love this place. We tried almost everything and each is delicious. The service is a friendly mom and pop restaurant service. They are really accommodating what you need.“

“We’ve been here four times now, which is probably the best compliment I can give. When Mo Ran Gak is at its best, it’s one of my favorite Korean restaurants in Southern California. When it’s off, the inconsistency keeps it from being a five star experience.

The first visit was outstanding. The galbi was perfectly seasoned, not overly sweet, not overly salty, with great caramelization and tenderness. The naengmyeon was exactly what you hope for. Icy cold with crunchy ice still floating in the broth, crisp vegetables and incredibly refreshing.

The second visit was a completely different experience. The galbi was noticeably drier and under seasoned and the naengmyeon arrived only slightly cold. The ice had already melted, which takes away one of the best parts of great naengmyeon. The slices of beef that come with the noodles have also been consistently dry. That may be traditional, but it’s never been the highlight of the dish.

The service is probably the weakest part of the restaurant. Nobody has ever been outright rude, but it’s difficult to get someone’s attention and the staff generally feels indifferent. You can tell they’re busy, but hospitality often feels like an afterthought. I’d probably rate the service around a 3 out of 5.

The restaurant itself is older but clean, with a comfortable atmosphere and moderate noise. Parking can be frustrating and there’s usually a wait, but that’s expected for a popular spot.

One thing I really enjoy is the complimentary crispy pancake they bring out. Honestly, I’d happily eat an entire plate of it. The banchan are solid overall, though fairly average.

Despite the inconsistency, I still think this is some of the best naengmyeon and especially bibim naengmyeon you’ll find in the Los Angeles area. That’s why we keep coming back. I just hope they can deliver the same level of quality every visit because when they do, it’s genuinely excellent.“

“Pho here is great with good beef selection. Little more pricy vit you'll get good cut of beef. Specially rare. Only down side is when order to g, they are skimpy on the meet side even though I ordered size large . And it did comes with any dip sauce.“

“This was such an incredible experience, my group sat at the sushi bar and this was all our first times having Omakase. We couldn’t have asked for a better and more delicious experience. The couple that owns this restaurant is so sweet and absolutely incredible with customer service. We felt like we had been coming here for years, and ordered more food at the end of our 12 piece meal bc it was all so delicious and we couldn’t get enough. I think we each got 3 more pieces. “My boyfriend and I had a car issue so we decided to grab lunch randomly from this restaurant and we were not disappointed. it looks like a family business and everyone involved is super lovely and they make amazing food. My boyfriend got a beef wrap and I got a chicken Shawarma wrap. I have never had that quality of chicken Shawarma in my life. “What a perfect hole in the wall Sushi spot. I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of Disney. Narrowed it down to Hana out of 50 sushi restaurants. How this restaurant only has a 4.5 rating is besides me. Absolutely incredible service and food. FREE MISO SOUP!!! Yes, you read that correctly. They also have ACE if you are a big eater. There is a small alcohol serving too. The location has outdoor seating, but I didn't see anyone using it. I ordered a regular Tuna roll as part of dinner, and it came with the rice on the out. It was perfectly fresh and delicious. I asked if the Chef can do Tuna Maki as off the menu, and he pulled through! I cant say enough good things. 5 Stars all the way. I hope I can return.
Tip: Parking is limited.

The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, the service was fast, and the staff were friendly and attentive. “Honestly surprised this place isn't rated higher! Came at like 6:30 pm seated right away, menu is very straightforward. The quality of the meat is phenomenal and they cook it for you. The kimchis and pickled vegetable array is unreal I literally would eat here over and over again. It's a very straightforward experience but 5/5 stars!“

“Consistently the best tasteful quality of products across the whole menu. This place been there for over 45 years. Jack serves the best recepies using the most expensive meat for each of his menu items at a reasonable cost.
The place is known for his take-out more than dining in . There are about 6 tables only if you had a small party of 4-6 guests.
There's no wait if you pre-order on the phone. It's ready every single time. We dine on and order items to take out as well“

“This was my HS back in the good old days for good burgers & fries and hanging out with friends afterschool. Was working in the area so stopped by for lunch. Same old setting, decor with sport teams plagues hanging on the wall and the seatings are all booth seats. Menu is simple but plenty of choices for both breakfast and lunch/dinner. Great friendly staff with attractive service. Easy order and they asked your name and they brought out the foods to your table once it done. The place is clean and well kept. Parking can be rough especially in the weekends & holidays. I normally would recommend bacon cheeseburger here but I got pastrami sandwich this time. It was good, abit too wet that just makes the bread felt apart. Fries are great and the prices are good for the size. Glad I stopped by and relived and ate the foods here. Great memories and great to see they’re still around.“

“Sooo delicious. We ordered the soft shell crab appetizer and it had such a delicate fried flavor. It hit the spot. It paired perfectly with the citrusy dressing in the side salad. We ordered the jalapeño bomb and Jessica roll. They're both shrimp tempura rolls but where the jalapeño bomb was creamy and spicy the Jessica roll tasted bright and fresh. We left full and very satisfied.“

“This place has been in the community for decades and they’re well known for Korean owner but great, very decent reasonable prices and the black ink noodles. I had been to this place over 3 decades. Used to go here with my kid and/or with his friends & cousins. I also had through family Christmas for a group of 70 people. The place is big and can handle over 250 people easily with private rooms and common area. Parking is easy since they do have a good size of parking lot. Clean and simple but Chinese vibe for sure. The staff here are very nice, attentive, helpful and only guys (have not seen a woman beside the cashier or owner at the front desk). The menu has plenty & simple of typical Chinese or American/Chinese dishes. Don’t get me wrong, I like it and reminded me of the early years. Easy and fast turn around for sure. Tasty and nice portion, it’s not the best nor the worst but worth it for the price and yummy. This place used to be Packed all the time during lunch time or weekends & holiday. But it easy less these days. Took my kid and went here for late late lunch or very early dinner so just 3-4 tables but same taste, consistency and nice, warm service. So glad I stopped by, been a long time since I was here.“

“All the banchan tasted fresh and tasted like it was made by a korean mom. The food was good, clean and simple. The seafood pancake was crispy and on point. The beef soup with the glass noodles was delicious 👌 pair with lemon Jinro sochu. You'll thank later. The portions of food they serve are out of control but the quality and taste is by far worth the price which is very reasonable. I would recommend of you are visiting from oit of town, must try. Service is above and beyond and the attention to detail is incredible as well.“
