“Cash only, light lines during dinner rush moves but moves very fast for groups of four and less anything more and it takes a little bit longer. All of this doesn't seem all that appealing but this place is MICHELIN RATED it's had Zagat awards almost every year since 1995, their broth is amazing everyone I've introduced this place to keeps coming back.
Parking: Strip mall adjacent, the liquor store will tow so talk to them first.“

“This place really took me by surprise. I thought it was going to be a decent experience for the pricing. I tried and was not disappointed. This place is actually pretty fire ? if you’re an omakase eater. Most of the cooked dishes were surprisingly bomb ?. So I give this a place a recommendation for being in GG.“

“It's the same as the best Chinese restaurant in town when I was a child. This is the only place where you can enjoy the same atmosphere and taste as you remember. I really, really love this restaurant.
Rajogi, scorched rice, black bean noodles, jjamppong, and noodles are all so delicious.“

“Hang A Ri Kalgooksu is a hidden gem that brings the true flavors of Korean comfort food to life. Tucked away in a quiet corner, this unassuming spot is all about the quality of its food, particularly the kalguksu, a traditional handmade noodle soup.
From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by the warm, homey atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re about to enjoy a meal at a close friend’s house. The star of the menu is, of course, the kalguksu. The broth is rich and deeply flavorful, clearly simmered for hours to achieve that perfect balance of savory and umami. The noodles are the highlight—thick, chewy, and with just the right amount of bite, they’re clearly made with care and attention.
One of the standout dishes was the kimchi kalguksu, which had just the right amount of spice and tang from the kimchi, adding a delightful kick to the soothing broth. The mandu (Korean dumplings) were another must-try, with their thin, delicate skins and generously filled interiors, perfectly steamed to seal in all the juices.
The service was friendly and efficient, with staff who are clearly passionate about the food they serve. They made sure we had everything we needed and were quick to offer recommendations when asked.
Hang A Ri Kalgooksu is the kind of place that keeps you coming back. It’s comforting, authentic, and unpretentious—a perfect spot for a satisfying meal that feels like a warm hug in a bowl. If you’re in the mood for something hearty and homemade, this is the place to go“

“Wow! It has Michelin stars for a reason! Great food is all about sauces and seasoning that elevates food. That’s Garlic & Chives. Fried salmon belly (so crispy), salmon roll with tamarind sauce (great compliment), crispy fried tofu (not a dull moment), razor clams, and Hanoi vermicelli (not only very different but the patties and broth were explosive). I always try many dishes and none disappointed here. The must likely “fail” suspect was fried tofu and I’d order it again. The atmosphere is nothing special, but it’s fine and the “crab boil” setup is actually nice for friends and family vibe. This could be an expensive high end restaurant with the food they are serving and yet it’s very affordable.“

Perfect service, and we had nice conversation with her. We are coming back to see Maricela very soon. Thanks for a wonderful experience.“

“This amazing Syrian owned takeout is a must must try! Vegan Stops serves totally delicious Middle eastern food that is totally vegan to take home and reheat. These are fully prepared meals/entrees at a fair price. There is NO DINING IN at this restaurant but don’t let it stop you. The owners and everyone who worked here couldn’t have been more sweet and kind to us.. They even let us taste a few things before we ordered since it was our first time and we didn’t know what a few of the dishes were. We ended up with 5 different good sized dishes for about $75.00 these were nice sized portions that 2 of us hungry adult guys ate for two nights in a row and were stuffed both meals so it was a great value ! What was also so amazing though was the taste. Everything was so fresh and wonderful I can’t say what I liked the best.. but I will say there was nothing I didn’t Love! The hummus, baba ganosh tasted like my mom’s old boyfriend from Syria used to make and the pasta with lentils was out of this world. It’s about a 40 minute drive for me but I can’t wait to go back soon to vegan stops!“

“I'm not a full time vegetarian but I appreciate a good vegetarian restaurant which this one is. The reviews appear to be accurate. The restaurant is usually busy with customers which is good. The flavoring of the food and cooking technique are quite good. The chef tends to over-sauce the food so it can be a bit salty. The veggies are sometimes over cooked as typical with vegetarian food. Might be a good idea to tell your server to have the chef go easy on the sauce and don't over cook the veggies. Overall, a pretty good vegetarian restaurant and definitely recommended.“

“Best Pho I’ve ever had. Great prices, the owner brought us watermelon juice for the table, and 80’s music videos were playing on the tvs. Obvious locals enjoying a late night bite. Cool spot that proves you don’t need to go somewhere fancy to get great food.“

“I got the short rib soup and it came out pretty fast. The soup was good but I wasn't a big fan of the banchans. The people working there were nice and I would come back to try other menus. Don't expect too much for the banchans though. The place isn't too big but enough space available.“

“The girls that work here are absolutely the best. It’s odd to get good let alone great service that’s friendly sweet and genuine. Sadly less often from females to female customers. The food here is the best and the late hours are so appreciated. There’s nowhere else you can get really good, still healthy, clean food at practically all hours of the night. I literally drove 30miles tonight just to get something because Iv been craving Naz’s so much and don’t want gross fast food. Worth the 30min drive though“

“Delighted by my midday visit to Urban Punjab in garden grove for a lunch at 3 PM—serendipity in its timing as they were open and welcoming. Tucked away in a modest shopping center that also boasts a superb shawarma joint, this place is a hidden treasure. The tandoori chicken and dal makhani I savored transported my taste buds straight to the streets of Delhi with their authentic, extraordinary flavors. The lacha paratha? Simply genius. Service was extraordinary, matched by the unique touch of serving drinks in metal, regal glasses that elevate the dining experience to one of noble indulgence. Having the pleasure of meeting both owners, their dedication was evident in every aspect. I'm looking forward to a return visit with loved ones in tow, ready to embark on a culinary expedition through their entire menu. Heartfelt thanks to Urban Punjab for a five-star experience.“

“Fish was relatively fresh and big portions, of good quality. Some of the pieces were blowtorched, which is a nice touch. The quality of the rice in the sushi is also good (and very important but no one ever talks about it). Friendly service and spacious venue. I was gonna say it was a bit pricey, but to be fair everything is pricey nowadays so it's probably avg priced. Just budget accordingly.“
“BEST TAMALES!!! I have tried many tamales throughout the years and hands down, these are the most delicious tamales I have ever tasted! Not only do they have the best tamales, but anything you try here will exceed your expectations! To top it all off, their customer service is the best, they are all very professional, respectful and caring. They even gave us a free dessert that was also very delicious. “I normally order to go and haven't dined inside. Maybe in the future I'll try dining in and I'm sure I'll have a positive experience resulting in a 5 star rating on "Atmosphere". Food is great! I normally order the Mediterranean Pizza ?? ? ? Regarding the service I've never had to wait any longer than the assigned pick up time. The pizza is always ready everytime I arrive. If I recall I've only had to wait 5 minutes at most one time which isn't bad in my opinion.“

“We tried the galbitang and bibimmyun—both simple dishes, but they were so flavorful and comforting, like something made with a grandmother’s touch. The banchan were amazing too. The service really stood out; they kept checking on us, even during their lunch break. If we lived nearby, this place would definitely be a regular spot for us!
Just a heads-up—it’s a bit warm inside, and the sunlight hits certain spots, but honestly, it adds to the cozy vibe, like eating at your grandma’s house in Korea.

“Hello everyone.
Welcome to jacks bakery. This is an Arminian and Mediterranean style food with bakers. Today I am trying the spicy cheese boreg, and what a delight it was. This place serves appetizers, sandwiches plates, baked goods, and assortment of hot drinks and yes, vegetarian options. Prices are reasonable and there is seating inside. Parking outside is limited. They accept cash and card. Thank you for reading my post. Please follow me on Google Street maps and check out the places I visit.“

“Tastes like childhood- and by that, I mean 1st gen Vietnamese American growing up in Westminster with memories of visiting Grandma in Vietnam and eating Vietnamese pastries from our front porch.
A little stuffy in the tiny bakery bc it's mostly kitchen in there and very little service area. It's one of my favorite places to get vietnamese dessert trays from for parties. Highly recommend and I'm sure they'll speak English to you but this is one of those last few spots holding out and speaking primarily vietnamese inside. Like I said, like childhood (sans fighting for your life to get in front of the line amirite BMCC OGs).
I like the lightness of all their jellies, but my favorite is their bánh bò nướng (honeycomb) and khoai mì nướng (casava root).“

“This place is great. We were greeted by them and they asked us to wait while they set the table. We happened to catch them at a good time because as soon as we finished ordering the food, the restaurant filled up quickly. The food didn't disappoint. Sometimes what looks good on Instagram doesnt translate in real life. The boys wanted Katsu so they ordered 2 but we honestly only need 1. Pro tip, if you ordered the Katsu and the garlic su yuk, eat the katsu first. Once you have a bite of the 10 hours sous vide pork belly, everything else just tasted tough. Trust me... i was loving the tender pork katsu until I bit into the sous vide pork. After that there was no going back. By the way, the bathroom is clean which is a plus

“Best Hoi An food in Orange County! We had the Cao lầu, bánh đập, and nem lụi thịt nướng. All three were fantastic! The owner was very friendly, and even brought us free chè for dessert! The menu is also quite large, with some great choices available that you can't find at other Vietnamese restaurants. I also appreciate the traditional Hoi An lanterns for decor. Plenty of parking available outside. 16 tables, each of which seats four, with the option to push together for larger groups.“
