“Everything was fresh and delicious! The broth was clean and didn't need any Sriracha or hoisin sauces to make it good. The combo fried rice was excellent, with all the meats fresh, crispy, and not greasy at all!! The Lao beef was cooked to perfection as ordered medium, and the dipping sauces were authentic and fresh. This is a must goto spot. Also open late which is a plus for me! The staff was very attentive and professional. Truly a gem.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Khoi is such a gem! The Vietnamese hotpot here is absolutely delicious, and the Tom Yum soup base is hands-down my favorite — the perfect balance of tangy, spicy, and comforting.
I also love that they offer Yakiniku-style cooking options with short ribs, shrimp, and pork — it’s fun, interactive, and everything tastes so fresh. On top of that, the variety of sauces is fantastic, giving you endless ways to customize every bite.
The service is always outstanding — attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Khoi makes dining feel like an experience, not just a meal.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving bold flavors, variety, and a place that truly takes care of its guests!“

“Cơm Tấm Kiều Giang is one of those places that instantly earns five stars. I first discovered them through DoorDash and immediately fell in love—but once I came in person, I realized just how much of a hidden gem this spot really is (and how much more affordable it is dining in).
The menu hits all the Vietnamese classics: a solid lineup of Vietnamese appetizers, cơm tấm (broken rice), bún (vermicelli) bowls, and plenty of traditional Vietnamese drinks to round out the meal. Everything feels comforting, well-portioned, and thoughtfully prepared.
What really stands out—besides the food—is the value. Prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for today: vermicelli dishes range from $12–$15, and broken rice plates from $12–$17. For the quality and portion size, it’s honestly a steal.
The owner was the one who took my order, and they were genuinely kind and personable, which made the experience even better. That personal touch goes a long way and really reflects the heart behind the restaurant.
If you’re ordering delivery, it’s great—but if you can, come in person. It’s noticeably cheaper and well worth it. Cơm Tấm Kiều Giang is comforting, affordable, and run with care—exactly the kind of neighborhood Vietnamese spot you want to keep coming back to.“

“This restaurant is located near the H Mart area in Garden Grove, which is convenient and easy to find.
The space has a Central Vietnam vibe cute, tidy, and very clean. Some of the dishes brought me back to Hội An, especially the more traditional items.
The bánh bèo was Hội A style and the highlight of our meal. The crispy pork skin was delicious, and the fish sauce was well balanced and complemented the dish nicely.
We also tried the bún bò Huế . While it was flavorful, the broth was a bit sweet for my taste, so it didn’t fully hit the mark.
The Cơm Cá Salmon came in a large portion, but the flavor was fairly average and not very memorable.
The service was friendly, and there is plenty of parking right in front, which is very convenient.!“

“If you're a pho lover, this place is a must visit. The broth is deep and savory, and the beef practically melts in your mouth. I also tried the beef hot pot, and it was packed with flavor and very satisfying. Clean space and fast, friendly service make it even better.“

“This place is often a go to on the weekends for me. You can never go wrong with egg noodles. It’s the perfect amount. All the flavor profiles are there. It can get busy and there is sometimes a wait but not too bad. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There is also something nostalgic about a family owned restaurant that is comforting.“

“I’ve found myself coming to this spot many times whenever I’m in OC. It’s one of the few places where you can find a wide variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes beyond just pho, which, honestly, a lot of places still don’t get right.
I’ve tried more than six different dishes here, and every single one has been flavorful, delicious, and truly authentic. It tastes just like home.
Some of my favorites are the Bún Mắm, Bánh Hỏi Heo Quay, Bún Riêu, and Hủ Tiếu Mì Khô—all so good and packed with flavor. I don't recommend Bột Chiên tho!
The service is always friendly, and the food comes out quickly, which makes the experience even better.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for real Vietnamese food that goes beyond the usual. A hidden gem worth checking out!“

“The pho was good. It didn’t have that super rich, beefy broth I usually look for, but it was still enjoyable. The hot stone keeps everything piping hot, which I really appreciate. I like my food hot. A big plus is that they use fresh noodles, which really makes a difference.
I ordered the special, and my husband got the short ribs. We also shared the spring rolls as an appetizer, and they were delicious. The service was good and attentive throughout our visit.
Overall, I would recommend it.“

“Every time I visit Westminster, Pho 79 is a must-stop for me. The pho is rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying — you can really taste the depth of the broth and the care that goes into every bowl.
Just a heads up: it’s cash only, so come prepared. Also, the fried chicken is a hidden gem — crispy, juicy, and definitely worth ordering alongside your pho. The sauce with the chicken is the play and takes it to another level. I’m always here when I’m in the area because the quality and consistency never disappoint.
Simple, authentic, and consistently delicious. A must-visit if you’re in the area.“

“I come here a couple times a week and I’m not even close to be a vegetarian. The food is great. I have noodle soups sometimes and the rice plates other times, and the take out options are great and ready to go. The seating and atmosphere are more like a typical Vietnamese restaurant, not fancy high end dining, but that makes it a great fit for the daily meals or a simple gathering. After my first visit I’ve been back here a couple times every week.“

“Still a place to go for all the occasional. Just landed from out of country trip and this is the 1st place to go for comfort food. It was raining so perfect to have some hot pho and VNese coffee and Thai tea and orange juice. The place is packed and we waited for 15mins and got a shared table with another group. Easy order with friendly service but waited abit (understandable since it packed) but within 20mins we got our foods. The prices are still the same but I think the noodle is less than b4, I could be wrong but either way, it hit all the right spots in the body. The vibe was great since the smell is just make you feel right at home and with good comfort foods. They do have several table outside on the sidewalk too.“

“Excellent Hu Tieu My Tho soup! We ordered it (kho) dry with the chicken broth and red sauce in the side. This is our new favorite restaurant for Hu Tieu My Tho. The owner is very friendly and eager to get you whatever you need to make you happy. They also have excellent Cafe Sua Da, very creamy and not watered down or bitter. We will definitely come back everytime we are in town.“

“The food is so authentic and savory. I love Mi Quang. I would say that is the best Mi Quang that I’ve ever tried in America. The portion is personally little small for me. They also offer free nuoc mat. But 5 stars for the restaurant and definitely recommend!“

“Friendly and clean restaurant.
Ordered Banh Xeo and Cripsy Pork belly Banh Hoi.
If you come here for Banh Xeo, I wouldn’t recommend it as it’s oily(more like deep fried crepe). The pork belly is has good season.
May come again to try different this if I’m in the area.“

“After finding this gem 3 years ago, we've been religious about ordering their eggrolls for parties and potlucks'. They fry them fresh, prices are steal, pork and shrimp eggrolls are both delicious! They only take cash and be sure to place an order before you head out since they don't take ore orders!“

“My wife have always been a big fan of this special food: Bo 7 Món and the grilled cat fishes. We used to go to the same restaurant located at Westminster Blvd, but always want to try a new location. Today, we were in our way to try the restaurant 777 located in a food court attached to the Lucky Super Market. Just before arriving that place, we discovered the sight of Thiên Ân and were very surprised because we didn't know that location. We then spontaneously changed our plan and turned into this restaurant. Another surprise came up when we saw a familiar face who welcomed us with a big smile, Mr. Phuc, the former owner of the location on Westminster Blvd. My wife also recognized him right away. It ends up with a feast of grilled fishes. We have never enjoyed such a tasty and well prepared grilled fish until that day. Phuc explained that he has installed a new kind of oven that enables him to grill fishes crunchy outside and tender and juicy inside, not to forget the flavor of freshness we experienced well that day. Every things functioned well from a bright and friendly atmosphere to the extreme friendly from the staff. We were overwhelmed from all the good things on one day! Thank you Mr. Phuc! We will return with our guests soon. Good luck and keep the great service spirit up!“

“It was decent and cheap price for Pho bò (ordered combo). The broth is fine but later, my mouth is dry for the rest of the day. Parking is easy and plenty. Service is nice and friendly. The place is big and clean with simple decor. They have their special deal right now for $8 for regular combo bowl or $10 for big bowl. They do have other dishes too but I came here to try the pho since I just got back to the US and need some comfort food plus it chill in the morning here in SoCal so perfect dish for it. Oh yea, CASH only.“

“Food is great! The pho tai nam is the best — rich, flavorful broth and very generous portions. The beef was tender, noodles were cooked perfectly, and everything tasted fresh. One bowl is more than enough to keep you full. Service was quick and friendly, and the place felt clean and welcoming. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I’m craving good pho. Highly recommend!“
“Tried this place a year ago and it was ok but apparently it's been under new ownership for the past few months so I went to try it out again and it definitely felt like a better experience. I was shocked. Food was more delicious than I expected and the staff was extremely attentive. Next time I'm in Garden Grove, I'll definitely try and hit up this place again.“

“Randomly ended up here after taking a 3-hour road trip on a whim—to Long Beach, and then Garden Grove not much farther. Intentionally over-ordered so as to have leftovers for folks at home, but could have overeaten and finished everything as it was all so good. Got the spring rolls, crunchy and crabby and delicious, and the crab/shrimp udon, which hit the spot. Others around had plates cooking on their tables—this wasn't the case for me. Also got a jasmine green tea w/ mango jam, so as to begin the caffeination that will get me home tonight :) A 10-minute wait for seating on a Sunday evening at 6:30pm not so bad, but bears mentioning. Probably the most popular restaurant at the Mall of Fortune here.“
