“Pho 101 is literally my go-to in the area for pho. I used to hit up Pho 79 frequently - which is in the same family as Pho 101. Pho 101 is cleaner, their parking lot has fewer potholes (compared to 79) and accepts cash and card.
The broth is what makes a pho dish - and the broth here is rich and flavorful. I believe it's made by steeping oxtails overnight - and the oxtails is a side dish you can order with your pho.
You choose either a Medium or Large bowl of pho - and can customize your bowl by choosing up to 4 choices of protein. I always get the Pho Tai Nam Gau and Gan (Rare, Flank, Fatty Cut, Tendon) - and occasionally a side of oxtail. A side of fresh vinegar onions, and a cup of hot tea completes my order.
Food is great and is always consistent. Everyone I've brought to eat here rave about the food.
Service is prompt and friendly. I go here so often, most of the staff remember my order and seating preferences.
Noise level is appropriate - there is ample light, plenty of seating, food is ordered efficiently through tablets - and served minutes later.
Note: There is only one way to get in and out of this parking lot. Heading Westbound on Edinger towards Bella Terra - it's the first right as soon as you drive down from the overpass between Beach and Newland. If you miss the driveway, you can only U-turn at Edinger/Parkside Lane (where the Springhill Suites is).“

“1. The egg rolls were delicious, and I can definitely taste the lemongrass in the beef version! I also like how the chicken wings are not drenched in sauce!
2. The spot has chill casual vibes! Interior is small!
3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! It was ready after 15 mins!
Note: They do accept card transactions!

“After visiting the OC/LA area, we're on the way back to the Bay Area, we wanted to have some lunch before we go. Some of the restaurant closed on Monday, one our friends recommended this place for real excellent egg noodles soups, so we stopped by, it's right next to PLT the big VN shopping center.
There's no parking for this restaurant, the whole block has a few parking spots and there's parking on the PLT but always full. We had to park outside on a different shopping center.
The restaurant is small and simple, clean. The owner or the care taker seems to be extremely friendly and attentive sitting us on a table.
The menu has quite a few dishes, but we're concentrating on egg noodle soup for lunch so we ordered the special bowl of rice noodles instead of egg noodles. It's quite good, quite tasty with chinese crispy donuts.
We had a great lunch and the price is extremely inexpensive. Ready to drive home.“

“I arrived early in the day and was told that only the #1 and #9 were available. I’m not sure if the other items sell out before opening or if they simply rotate what’s being made, but it was a bit disappointing since I drove over an hour hoping to try more of the menu. That said, the #1 and #9 were absolutely delicious—full of flavor and well worth the trip. I just wish I had the chance to sample the rest of what they offer. UPDATE - 04/19/26 I went very early this morning and they said they only had #1 #8 & #9 available but have the whole menu outside. I asked politely do you ever not run out because im here early and you don't have your other egg rolls available again. She said we can Make them but its a 20min wait and a 20 count minimum order of them.“

“Was craving for com tam so stopped by here since it was close to where I was. Plenty of parking and clean too. Very nice simple decor, clean, spacious, airy and well kept inside. Plenty of TVs hung around with different channel of cooking or food traveling shown. You ordered on the tablet that they provided along with a menu in case you can do on the tablet. Easy order and quick turn around…the foods look delicious and tasty plus it comes with free veggie soup - a really small soup that you wonder why bother. All are good and tasty plus good portion. I was impressed or really hungry that I cleaned up the plate, except the soup (it was so so). Coffee was good, too much iced. Overall not bad at all.“

“It was interesting. We tried the duck in soup. The duck was boiled and sliced serve separate from the noodle and broth. We also had Vietnamese congee and I like the extra ginger. Sorry no pics of food, we were just to hungry. But sure others have pic. But I do recommend to try. It was a Sunday evening still very busy but we got seated pretty quick and staff was okay.“

“She doesn’t specialize in pho but this is orange county. It was the best rare beef i’ve ever had. Her broth is peppered with black pepper. I’d recommend lots of lime. The noodles are fresh and not rehydrated.
There was no tendon or tripe in the dac biet. I’d recommend the pho tai if you’re having pho. To the owner I’d recommend just taking the dac biet off the menu. Ppl don’t come for pho dac biet, they come for pho. The pho tai is clearly your best here.“

“Food: We tried three things
1) We try the HK style beef chow fun and it was really amazing a must try here. You can taste the charcoal broiled taste and it was well seasoned. Might be a little oily though but the taste is very nice 5/5
2) Next is fish Congee with pork blood on sides. The presentation is nice and taste is average but I try putting little hotsauce and fish sauce to add flavor and it went well 4/5
3) Chinese Donut is a must too. taste blend well with the congee and taste is reallu 5/5.
Service: When we came in it was not too crowded so the order was done pretty fast so service is 5/5
Ambiance: It was nice and clean like typical vietnamese restaurant nothing fancy.
Parking: A lot of parking space.“

“A small catering, food to go shop, 3 small tables inside, 3 outside. Their banh canh cua, udon crab noodle, is fantastic in quality and quantity, probably the best in oc, $17 eat in, special $8 only to go on Friday, a great deal.
The crab udon has a lump of minced crab, 3 large shrimps, large slices of boiled pork. The broth is rich, tasty, delish, no fishy odor, no excess sugar, light, nice, clean, not greasy and gooey like those in other shops. I ate it to the last spoon, and I am a picky eater.
If taken home, the udon noodle should be recooked in the broth for about 5 minutes to soften up.
They have a menu of about 30 traditional Viet dishes, hopefully as good and healthy as their crab udon. Will definitely come back and try them out.“

“Looks attractive, tastes delicious, has its own unique qualities. I think the fish sauce is too sweet, but my friend said that Soc Trang tastes like that. Going out to eat also helps you understand more about the culture.
If it's too much, choosing a fish sauce that's just sweet enough will be even better.“

“I love a good banh mi. Especially their spam and egg. I like their bread, it’s on par with the best. Ingredients are good quality and they have a plethora of Vietnamese goodies to go. This location is better than the Tustin one- a lot more options and I think their banh mi is better too! I also like the Vietnamese iced coffee. It’s pretty strong!“

“Den Da Coffee & Tea Restaurant in Westminster is a great spot for Vietnamese comfort food with a modern cafe atmosphere.
We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was well-executed. The Bo Ne Ribeye (10oz sizzling steak) was served hot and fresh, with tender, juicy meat and rich flavor. The Banh Mi Chao (breakfast plate combo) was another highlight — the wagyu beef in sauce was savory and comforting.
The Salmon Salad was a nice contrast — light yet flavorful, with crispy salmon, fresh vegetables, and a balanced sweet and savory profile. The Mi Y Tom (garlic noodles with jumbo shrimp) was rich, buttery, and very satisfying.
The Bun Rieu (crab noodle soup) had a deep, slightly tangy broth that tasted authentic, while the Com Bo Luc Lac (shaken beef with rice and fried egg) was a classic done right — tender and flavorful.
For drinks, the Matcha Latte with Sea Salt Cream was smooth and creamy, while the Sua Da Matcha Sea Salt Cream was stronger and more refreshing.
Overall, a solid spot for Vietnamese food with a wide variety of dishes and consistent quality. Would definitely come back.“

“Asia Garden Mall has a fantastic fast-food market where you can find many authentic Vietnamese dishes that are both delicious and very reasonably priced. The service is extremely fast, and you’ll see lots of Vietnamese families dining there, which really says a lot about the quality and authenticity of the food.
The mall itself is lovely — upstairs there’s a small Buddhist temple, and throughout the mall you’ll find clothing shops, gift stores, and even a pastry shop. It’s a great place to eat, explore, and spend some time.“

“Came here on vacation to try the banh canh, and it did not disappoint! Definitely one of the best banh canh I've had, it is very rich and was super flavorful, it also came out very hot which we loved! The service was good considering there was only one server. I loved this small family owned restaurant, if I lived here I would be back every week! :)“

“Saying I drove 2.5hrs on a Saturday morning just to have beef stew and bread for breakfast/lunch might throw some people off but honestly its more than worth the drive. I first came to this restaurant with my wife and every other time has been fantastic. The beef stew is absolutely packed with flavor and the meat is very tender. I appreciate the carrots and fresh jalapeños which add texture and some much needed heat to the meal. The baguette was very fresh, crunchy (I guess is the right word) on the outside and so soft in the center. It did a wonderful job of soaking every drop of the stew. I will absolutely be returning any chance I get, even if it means another 2.5hr roadtrip.“

“Saturday 2/28/26 Lunch at Pho Thanh Restaurant with my sister. Ordered the large pho #6 with beef, tripes, tendon. Delicious and savory. The soup base is clear and mild which means less msg compared to other pho restaurants. The price is very low. The restaurant is cleaned and open floor view.

“As a fan of BBH and BBC, I'm quite picky about where to eat. Thanks to a friend's introduction, I stopped by the restaurant for lunch and was very satisfied. The restaurant has delicious Bun Bo Hue dish. The soup is rich, the vermicelli bowl is full, vermicelli, meat and broth are not empty like other places, enough for a healthy eater to eat. There are a few other shops that sell slightly smaller bowls of vermicelli. I'm a healthy eater, but after eating it, I still feel hungry. and Banh Beo cup is very delicious. The fish sauce is just right, the banh beo flour is mixed properly, the banh beo is not too soft or chewy or has lumps of flour like other places. In general, I am very satisfied when I found a suitable restaurant. This restaurant will be on my list to eat and drink. And the restaurant space is spacious, there is a distance between the tables, too close so it feels private, if you sit and eat and chat, it is also comfortable. The shop has middle-aged waiters and people from the Central region, so they should be gentle and gentle. I don't feel rushed or rushed when ordering or paying. I see that the restaurant is too crowded, there are young people serving, they are cool, agile and full of energy so they do everything quickly, and Noisy customers, like me, are not suitable for eating at those restaurants, because the feeling is that we are fighting for food, not enjoying the food. So 10 points for this restaurant. The shop plays Vietnamese music without lyrics, so the atmosphere is light and fast, very much like the fragrant river and mountains. In general, browsing!
Only one suggestion is that Vietnamese restaurants should pay attention to updating the hours posted online. On Sundays, I read on Google and saw that they closed at 9:00, and at 8:15 I saw that the lights were turned off and it was dark... a bit annoyed because I had to drive. car. Then I drove past Bun Bo way and it was 8:30, they were also closed and were sweeping the house, it was so annoying.“

“I was in there with my uncle last week. Tried Ghiền Mỹ Gõ and really liked it 👍
The food has a strong, authentic flavor—very similar to what you’d find in Vietnam.
The space is open and airy, with simple but comfortable decor, great for hanging out with friends or family.
Prices are very reasonable too.
Definitely coming back next time 😄“

“They have a good variety of noodle dishes here. I’ve been here a couple times and the broths is decent but also inconsistent. They’re known for their bún mắm but flavor is still a bit lacking for me. Their dipping sauce for bún đậu mắm tôm also is just okay. Their bún riêu and bún mực could use a bit more flavor as well. Drinks here are great, I recommend the soursop and lychee tea. Service is hit or miss sometimes depending on if it’s busy or not. Usually, there’s a 15-20 mins wait during peak hours. Food is good but not worth any wait imo“

“Best Bun Mam in OC! My mom used to make very good bun mam so it's been difficult for me to find good restaurants that can make this dish. The soup is very fragrant and each portion is full of meat, seafood and veggies! We also tried Mien Mang Vit and they are also great! We will be back!“

“I can’t tell you enough how much I love this restaurant! Their canh bún is hands down the best in town — rich, flavorful, and authentic. It’s a family-owned place, and everyone who works here is so friendly and welcoming. You can really feel the homey vibe as soon as you walk in. I could eat here every day and never get tired of it. “Tried Cô Ba Bún Bò and was impressed! The bún bò is flavorful with a clean, aromatic broth that’s naturally sweet — not oily or heavy. The highlight is their homemade chả Huế, which is fresh, firm, and super tasty. A great spot if you’re craving authentic, comforting Vietnamese flavors.“

“This is hu tiếu Mỹ Tho. So this style is sweeter than other versions and their noodle is more chewy. Kudos to the owner for staying true to their root. The price is just right. The steam bun is superior than Yummy across the street. I grown up in Việt Nam eating at their original store there every months. This is as close as it gets.“
“Troi oi. My mom told me about this place months ago, but the plaza was always kind of barren and I never stopped by. This place is a hidden gem - a hole in the wall to the core. Their bun tuoi is the PERFECT noodle for bun bo hue. I am never using the dried packaged ones again!! Never!!I also got their banh canh noodles. Everything is freshly made and I think they mainly cater to restaurants, but it's so nice they have a storefront for regular customers. The ladies are so sweet - they also sell some foods like chao, xoi, etc but you can tell the noodles are their expertise. Also, I'm pretty sure they're behind the noodles for one of the best restaurants in OC because the texture is close, if not exactly the same.Just leaving this review bc I hope they keep this place alive for a long time to come.“
