“I usually don’t write reviews . I like more reading them before making decision of where I eat . I’m a huge pho fan and set myself a goal to visit every pho spot in California . I go a lot between the bay to LA . And I can safely surely say that so far ( after about 60-70 pho places) this is the best I’ve tried . Brisket not chewy . Steak sliced super thin , tendon not chewy. Portion is HUGE . Finally a place that gives an option for chicken in the spring rolls . It’s honestly the best pho place for me so far . Will come back“

“Finally got to try this hole in the wall egg roll shop and I was very impressed with how delicious they were plus the very affordable pricing. I didn’t place an order beforehand and arrived around 4:30 PM and they only had #1 and #9 available. They also offer a slight discount if paying with cash. Next time, I’ll place an order so I can try the others!“

“Authentic Flavors of Vietnam: A Hidden Gem in Westminster Tucked away in the vibrant streets of Westminster, "Bánh Khọt Lady" offers an authentic culinary retreat, reminiscent of the quaint eateries in the heart of Vietnam. This unassuming spot specializes in Bánh Khọt, mini rice pancakes that are a staple in Vietnamese cuisine, delivering a unique, home-style dining experience that's a rarity even in the diverse California food scene. Walking into the eatery, you're met with the delightful aroma of coconut milk mingled with savory toppings, an olfactory promise of the quality meals prepared here. The place, though small, radiates warmth and authenticity, with its minimalistic décor that puts the spotlight solely on the food. The Bánh Khọt is sublime – crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, with a hint of sweetness from the coconut milk. Topped with expertly seasoned shrimp, scallions, mung beans, and served with fresh, aromatic Vietnamese herbs and tangy fish sauce, each bite is a harmony of flavors. The menu is simple, focusing on doing justice to this traditional dish by maintaining its authenticity, rather than adapting it to Western tastes. The service at Bánh Khọt Lady is remarkable; you're treated with the kind of genuine warmth and hospitality that's reminiscent of a host welcoming you into their home. The staff is eager to share their love for the cuisine, enriching your dining experience with stories behind the food you're savoring.“

“After visiting the OC/LA area, we're on the way back to the Bay Area, we wanted to have some lunch before we go. Some of the restaurant closed on Monday, one our friends recommended this place for real excellent egg noodles soups, so we stopped by, it's right next to PLT the big VN shopping center.
There's no parking for this restaurant, the whole block has a few parking spots and there's parking on the PLT but always full. We had to park outside on a different shopping center.
The restaurant is small and simple, clean. The owner or the care taker seems to be extremely friendly and attentive sitting us on a table.
The menu has quite a few dishes, but we're concentrating on egg noodle soup for lunch so we ordered the special bowl of rice noodles instead of egg noodles. It's quite good, quite tasty with chinese crispy donuts.
We had a great lunch and the price is extremely inexpensive. Ready to drive home.“

“This place is really good. We got the Bun bo hue, vermacelli hanoi, and broken rice plate. Prices are reasonable and the flavors are good. I liked the little char on their Viet meatballs. The portions are decent. The bun bo hue has really good flavor, not watery nor just salty. You can order right off the tablet for quick orders. This might be one of my new favorite places to go.“

“Been in this plaza once before to get some Vietnamese pastries and saw this place.
Decided to check it out since they have Cantonese style dishes here as well.
The food here is really delicious in flavors. Better than what we had expected.
I ordered their Beef Chowfun with black bean sauce and garlic.
Wifey ordered their House Special Chow Mein, and daughter got their egg rolls with veggies to wrap them in.
Everything was super delicious and their egg rolls had a very unique flavor to them.
The beef chow fun and house special chowmein was so good!
The restaurant was clean, well organized, and the service was good.
The fish sauce / soy sauce bottles could use a little bit of love.
We shall be returning to try some other items on the menu. Their wonton noodle soup looks really good.“

“Had a group of 10 and waited about 30 minutes or so. It's a super small place. They will also take your order while you're in line so you can get it a few minutes after you sit down.
Broth was real flavorful with the crab and thick broth consistency. I'd def go back. Must also get the egg rolls. Be aware of the hot sauce. It's super spicy“

“Food good. Service good. Ambiance bit loud/crammed. Overall great place for great rice noodle soup w/ bamboo shoots and stir-fried duck on mixed VN style coleslaw salad w/ ginger fish sauce. Can choose duck and/or chicken.
Came on holiday weekend Monday around noon and quickly got packed. Quite small and clean place with nice modern interior. A bit shorthanded but staff kept up very well.
Came with high expectations because we enjoy duck w/ fish sauce and this type of salad. Ordered duck (dark meat) noodle soup w/ bamboo shoots and duck rice hoi an. Recommend to get the soup over the hoi an rice because hoi an rice was too hard and not crunchy enough for my liking. Their fish sauce is excellent. Great soup options on a cold day. Would come back.“

“Sip updated their menu! I ordered the papaya salad, pork soup with udon and the new shrimp and fries appetizer. The shrimps were seasoned just right, while the fries were crisp and perfect. My friend ordered the delicious Wagyu pho and the portion was massive. I will definitely return to eat the pho and try sizzling Wagyu steak.“

“Asia Garden Mall has a fantastic fast-food market where you can find many authentic Vietnamese dishes that are both delicious and very reasonably priced. The service is extremely fast, and you’ll see lots of Vietnamese families dining there, which really says a lot about the quality and authenticity of the food.
The mall itself is lovely — upstairs there’s a small Buddhist temple, and throughout the mall you’ll find clothing shops, gift stores, and even a pastry shop. It’s a great place to eat, explore, and spend some time.“

“Food was decent. Could've had more flavor to it. The egg fried rice was a bit plain, pork belly was good with the peanut butter and other sauce. Didn't get water with the meal, maybe I had to ask 🤔 but I didn't ask.“

“Den Da Coffee & Tea Restaurant in Westminster is a great spot for Vietnamese comfort food with a modern cafe atmosphere.
We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was well-executed. The Bo Ne Ribeye (10oz sizzling steak) was served hot and fresh, with tender, juicy meat and rich flavor. The Banh Mi Chao (breakfast plate combo) was another highlight — the wagyu beef in sauce was savory and comforting.
The Salmon Salad was a nice contrast — light yet flavorful, with crispy salmon, fresh vegetables, and a balanced sweet and savory profile. The Mi Y Tom (garlic noodles with jumbo shrimp) was rich, buttery, and very satisfying.
The Bun Rieu (crab noodle soup) had a deep, slightly tangy broth that tasted authentic, while the Com Bo Luc Lac (shaken beef with rice and fried egg) was a classic done right — tender and flavorful.
For drinks, the Matcha Latte with Sea Salt Cream was smooth and creamy, while the Sua Da Matcha Sea Salt Cream was stronger and more refreshing.
Overall, a solid spot for Vietnamese food with a wide variety of dishes and consistent quality. Would definitely come back.“

“Best cơm tấm in O.C. We always visit and order to go whenever we go to this neighborhood. The meat was aromatic and tender. 1 order could qualify for two people's meal, portion-wise. Fish sauce is so on point with the meat. Highly recommended place for Cơm Tấm enthusiasts!“

“Best Pho in town. Their egg rolls are one of the few places that’s actually authentic. Everything else is so good too, but my family abd I usually get these items. We have been their customers for many years, they open so late also. So good.“

“Came here on vacation to try the banh canh, and it did not disappoint! Definitely one of the best banh canh I've had, it is very rich and was super flavorful, it also came out very hot which we loved! The service was good considering there was only one server. I loved this small family owned restaurant, if I lived here I would be back every week! :)“

“I can’t tell you enough how much I love this restaurant! Their canh bún is hands down the best in town — rich, flavorful, and authentic. It’s a family-owned place, and everyone who works here is so friendly and welcoming. You can really feel the homey vibe as soon as you walk in. I could eat here every day and never get tired of it. If you love canh bún like I do, this is an absolute must-try spot!“

“Tried Cô Ba Bún Bò and was impressed! The bún bò is flavorful with a clean, aromatic broth that’s naturally sweet — not oily or heavy. The highlight is their homemade chả Huế, which is fresh, firm, and super tasty. A great spot if you’re craving authentic, comforting Vietnamese flavors.“

“One of my favorite restaurants in Bolsa is Luc Dinh Ky 2.
I truly enjoy the food here, but what makes this place special is the people. The staff are friendly, warm, and always treat me like family. Since I live and work around this area, this restaurant has become one of my regular places.
My office, Kim Quang Mahakala Feng Shui, is located nearby on Garden Grove Blvd. Whenever I need to prepare offerings for spiritual work or rituals, I often come here to buy food because the quality and energy feel right.
As a feng shui consultant, I can feel that this place has good chi, a smooth flow of energy, and a welcoming atmosphere. That is one reason why the business can run well, the staff can work effectively, and customers feel comfortable coming back.
From a feng shui perspective, I believe this place can become even stronger by adding more fresh flowers every week. Real flowers bring living energy, beauty, freshness, and prosperity into a business space. The money spent on flowers is not just decoration — it is an energy investment that can attract more customers, better flow, and stronger business luck.
Wishing Luc Dinh Ky 2 continued success, more customers, and even greater prosperity.“

“This place has my favorite chicken dishes. When I’m feeling like I need something with broth, I’m going for the pho ga. When I’m feeling for some rice, I pick the com ga chien ( fried chicken rice). They have many other great dishes as well. If you’re in the area, stop by and dine . You won’t be disappointed.“

“Stopped by to grab some banh bao for breakfast & lunch. Ate here for Hu tieu before and it's not bad at all. Easy parking since huge parking lot. Staff are nice and friendly, small place with few tables for dine in. Their foods are good and big portion prices can be in the low high end side, but if you're craving for some good hu tieu and banh bao, this would be it.

“Discovered Xe Com Tam VH via an Instagram Reel a few weeks ago and had to check them out during my trip home!
They now have two Brick & Mortar Locations (Westminster and Fountain Valley) and closed the truck location.
I ordered the Speciality Rice Plate and got the Pork Chop plate for my Dad. The meat was absolutely delicious and had that beautiful charred smell! The portions were absolute ginormous, I believe each plate can be shared amongst two averagely hungry people. Each order came with a side of soup and a complimentary Nuoc Mat drink.
Each plate was about $15 each, absolutely delicious while bang for your buck. Definitely recommend!“

“Saying I drove 2.5hrs on a Saturday morning just to have beef stew and bread for breakfast/lunch might throw some people off but honestly its more than worth the drive. I first came to this restaurant with my wife and every other time has been fantastic. The beef stew is absolutely packed with flavor and the meat is very tender. I appreciate the carrots and fresh jalapeños which add texture and some much needed heat to the meal. The baguette was very fresh, crunchy (I guess is the right word) on the outside and so soft in the center. It did a wonderful job of soaking every drop of the stew. I will absolutely be returning any chance I get, even if it means another 2.5hr roadtrip.“

“My sisters and I came to this restaurant, and they were playing the news. We didn't feel like being bummed by the news, so we asked if the restaurant minded if they could change the channel. The staff gave us the remote and let us change the channel ourselves! I really really appreciated that. We have come back many times since! Out of all the bánh cuốn places we've had in OC, theirs is closest to authentic Hanoi bánh cuốn. It's not perfect but it's close! Thank you again!“
