“Between 1983 and 1995 I ate lunch almost daily at to your restaurant. In 95 I moved away from Southern California. When ever I visit the area I stop in for a bite. Best pizza in the world! The pasta is excellent. I now live in the Lake Tahoe area and there's nothing even close to it here or anywhere else for that matter (and lve been to NY and Jersey). Everything I've ever ordered there has been fantastic.”
“generous portions and very patient and kind staff! and the food is great too!”

“Pho 101 is literally my go-to in the area for pho. I used to hit up Pho 79 frequently - which is in the same family as Pho 101. Pho 101 is cleaner, their parking lot has fewer potholes (compared to 79) and accepts cash and card.
The broth is what makes a pho dish - and the broth here is rich and flavorful. I believe it's made by steeping oxtails overnight - and the oxtails is a side dish you can order with your pho.
You choose either a Medium or Large bowl of pho - and can customize your bowl by choosing up to 4 choices of protein. I always get the Pho Tai Nam Gau and Gan (Rare, Flank, Fatty Cut, Tendon) - and occasionally a side of oxtail. A side of fresh vinegar onions, and a cup of hot tea completes my order.
Food is great and is always consistent. Everyone I've brought to eat here rave about the food.
Service is prompt and friendly. I go here so often, most of the staff remember my order and seating preferences.
Noise level is appropriate - there is ample light, plenty of seating, food is ordered efficiently through tablets - and served minutes later.
Note: There is only one way to get in and out of this parking lot. Heading Westbound on Edinger towards Bella Terra - it's the first right as soon as you drive down from the overpass between Beach and Newland. If you miss the driveway, you can only U-turn at Edinger/Parkside Lane (where the Springhill Suites is).”

“My sisters and I came to this restaurant, and they were playing the news. We didn't feel like being bummed by the news, so we asked if the restaurant minded if they could change the channel. The staff gave us the remote and let us change the channel ourselves! I really really appreciated that. We have come back many times since! Out of all the bánh cuốn places we've had in OC, theirs is closest to authentic Hanoi bánh cuốn. It's not perfect but it's close! Thank you again!”
“My teenagers and I had the Motto Black, the Motto Red, and the Motto Special. All bowls were tasty and delicious. Noodles were fresh and the chaschu melted in your mouth. Staff was super friendly and attentive. I would recommend as a casual and family friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back again.”
“I don’t even live in the area and every time I come to SoCal to visit my friend I insist that we visit this place. Their catfish is my favorite. I love the fresh vegetables that comes with it and of course the dipping sauce. I can never get enough and the prices are always reasonable!”
“Satomi is such a sweetheart and she gives the best customer service with beautiful smile and she is the best bartender in town!!!! 2 taps draft beer and 2 pools tables. You can play hot spots games non- stop and California scratcher machine!!! Best place to hang out and the best sports bar in oranges country!!! Love this place!!! Cash only..”
Outdoor Dining
“Friendly staff and great food. We are visiting from AZ and NM (didn’t mention to staff) and needed a quick bite after the beach. This place didn't disappoint. We stopped by around 8:15p and placed a large order but they still provided awesome customer service and food. Definitely would revisit and recommend.”
“So glad I finally stopped by to try it out! I went with a lunch special 2 fish, onion rings and zucchini fries. Just wow! Best onion rings of my life!! The price was very reasonable! Its a small establishment so best for couples or small groups. It definitely has the vibe of the 90s I loved it! No crazy music playing. Just a good small diner. Look forward to coming back!”

“Price depends on what level you're getting. I think vip is worth the $$. You get one set of the items in the VIP portion and unlimited of the regular items. You have 90 minutes but the last call for your table is at 60minutes. Would definitely come again if I'm in the area.”

“If you’ve never had pho for breakfast, you are missing out. Pho Thanh opens at 7:00 AM, and it has easily become my favorite morning ritual.
Why I Love It:
Amazing Broth: Rich, clean, and absolutely perfect first thing in the morning.
Super Fresh: The meats are tender, and the herbs are always crisp.
Fast Service: The staff is friendly, and the food comes out piping hot in no time.
It beats the lunch crowds, and a steaming bowl of noodle soup is the best way to start the day. If you're in Garden Grove, do yourself a favor and check them out early!”
“I am so glad I stumbled upon this place. My daughter’s volleyball club practices down the street and I stop in for a beer or 3 on Sunday afternoons and Monday nights.
The bartenders are super chill and they have one of my favorite beers on tap.
Always great tunes on the TouchTunes and plenty of TVs to watch sports.
Definitely my spot while I’m up there and hoping my kid plays on the same team next year so I can keep going!”
“I have been a customer at Ten Lei Yen for many years. Since my very first purchase until today, Ten Lei Yen has always been a pleasant destination to visit whenever I wanted to buy highest quality bird nests. If you are looking for credible and excellent bird nest for your family or for gifts, I guarantee Ten Lei Yen is exactly what you are looking for.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Quality fresh food for a cheap price! Located next to Starbucks and Subway, this place is owned by a very sweet family. I would definitely recommend getting the chicken beef plate, but everything on their menu is delicious. Support local businesses during this rough time!”
“We run a busy DIY art studio nearby, and Fantastic Cafe is one of our go to places when we get really busy and need something to go, or when we need an extra energy pickup at the start/end of a long day. Our favorite is the two for one hamburger special after 4 PM, but we also love the patty milk with extra onions, the big, hot fries, and breakfast. Watch out for their milkshakes. They’re huge and addicting.”
“I loved their egg rolls the past 15 years I would have given them 5 stars but today the skin was very hard not crunchy so 4 stars are good too. The congee’s were always good. Unfortunately they only take cash I just got back fr a long trip, I had to raid my wallet n my husband wallet to be able to pay as I still have a lot of foreign money!
They are known for their fish too but I’m not a fan of fish.”
“1. The egg rolls were delicious, and I can definitely taste the lemongrass in the beef version! I also like how the chicken wings are not drenched in sauce!
2. The spot has chill casual vibes! Interior is small!
3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! It was ready after 15 mins!
Note: They do accept card transactions!

“The bill was $168 for 4 dishes+2 beers+ 1 hot tea pot + 1 hot water pot. We had 4 people for dinner. The ripped off is $20 for the 1 hot tea + 1 water pot(charge $5 per person). The manager credited back only 1 time favor(not second time in the future) of $10 for hot water pot after i complained that we ordered 2 beers for drink. It was ridiculous since a bottle of beer only $3. We will not go back to this place again. New customers please stay away from this restaurant. This restaurant's food is not that good and ripped off.”

“Been here twice now and both times the food has been incredible. I’m definitely not an expert on authentic Indian food, but this feels like the real deal. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The lunch special is one of the best values around. You get a ton of food for the price, and the quality is still top-notch. One of those spots where you leave full and already thinking about coming back.”
“Small, hole-in-the-wall place, but it was AWESOMENESS on a bun! I'd heard about this local legend in the South and had to see what it was all about before heading back up to Monterey. I really do wish the hot dogs were all-beef. The burgers were killer! WE NEED a Monterey or even a San Jose location. Definitely coming back for more!”

“This little bakery is in the same plaza as ABC Supermarket, near the Bank of America location. I didn’t really notice it at first, but one day I walked in and realized it’s basically a mini heaven for Vietnamese desserts.
They’ve got a lot of bánh cốm, bánh xu xê, xôi gấc đậu xanh, bánh bông lan trứng muối… I’ve tried a few things already and yeah, I keep coming back. Everything tastes good and the prices are very reasonable, so it’s easy to just grab a few things without overthinking.
The lady who runs the place is older and super sweet. It really feels like a small local spot.
They also have a bunch of snacks and little things to pick from, not just desserts.
I usually grab bánh patê sô here to bring to work for breakfast with coffee pretty solid and convenient.
Parking has been easy for me, I’ve always been able to find a spot whenever I come.
It’s one of those spots I kinda randomly found but now just stop by whenever I’m in the area.”
“I love a good banh mi. Especially their spam and egg. I like their bread, it’s on par with the best. Ingredients are good quality and they have a plethora of Vietnamese goodies to go. This location is better than the Tustin one- a lot more options and I think their banh mi is better too! I also like the Vietnamese iced coffee. It’s pretty strong!”
“This bar is great! The bartender that worked last night was the best bartender I’ve ever seen… he was so attentive, handsome, knowledgeable, charismatic, and handsome…. I’ve been coming here for years, love the staff, the vibes, and the liquor selection, but the tender of bar that worked last night took it to another level.”
“My husband and I stopped by after seeing Eddie Izzard's Hamlet right down the street. I got the Damon Bruce and my husband got thr Hollywoo. Both were fantastic (though I tried both and think i picked best). The dirty sauce was surprisingly sweet, and the only complaint I have is that it was sweeter than I would have liked. Did not stop me from devouring the deliciousness, though. I will be back if I am in the area again.”
“This place is definitely a landmark or should be since it has been in little Saigon from the beginning and a stable place for a lot of Vietnamese refugees to have a taste of country home foods. Fast forward to now, I had been here couple of time and since I’m on a banh mi craving, this is my 4th stopped this week. It’s not favorite place but I can taste the good old days through their food. Bread is okey, their meat is not quite I expected for bbq pork or grilled pork, just shredded meats with sauce over it. The place is still the same as I remembered, but still clean and full of ready to eat packed foods. Service is great with nice and friendly staff. They do have other foods too. Parking is okey, can be difficult in the weekend or holiday since it just a handful spaces for their small shopping center. They do have couple tables for dine in.”
“This place has my favorite chicken dishes. When I’m feeling like I need something with broth, I’m going for the pho ga. When I’m feeling for some rice, I pick the com ga chien ( fried chicken rice). They have many other great dishes as well. If you’re in the area, stop by and dine . You won’t be disappointed.”
“I had my wedding at Diamond Seafood 3 in July 2024, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The venue owner - uncle Bao, is an absolute professional and a huge help throughout the entire process. We had so many questions leading up to the big day, and he was always there, patiently answering everything and providing guidance. What really stood out was his genuine care in making our wedding affordable - he offered suggestions to minimize our budget wherever possible, rather than pushing us to spend more on additional services!
The venue itself was beautifully decorated - simple yet elegant, which perfectly suited the atmosphere we wanted to create. The food was amazing, served in large portions, and absolutely delicious! The staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure everything ran smoothly.
After the wedding, we received so many compliments from our guests about both the food and the venue itself. I’m so grateful to uncle Bao for making our special day so beautiful and memorable. I highly recommend Diamond Seafood 3 to anyone looking for a wedding venue in OC - it truly exceeded our expectations!”
“Nice atmosphere and good service, friendly staff and great food. The drinks are also great”

“Was craving for com tam so stopped by here since it was close to where I was. Plenty of parking and clean too. Very nice simple decor, clean, spacious, airy and well kept inside. Plenty of TVs hung around with different channel of cooking or food traveling shown. You ordered on the tablet that they provided along with a menu in case you can do on the tablet. Easy order and quick turn around…the foods look delicious and tasty plus it comes with free veggie soup - a really small soup that you wonder why bother. All are good and tasty plus good portion. I was impressed or really hungry that I cleaned up the plate, except the soup (it was so so). Coffee was good, too much iced. Overall not bad at all.”
“We mostly order the matcha storm in this location. But I personally love it. So far one of the best matcha within OC . Especially with the pudding its very nice. My kid loves the strawberry milk tea too. The spot is not too crowded and a lot of parking. They also have lots of promos so dont forget to signup.”
“Hola gente bonita en mi propia experiencia les comparto que con solo El shake el té y la sábila llevo 14 libras abajo de 150 libras e bajado a 136 ASÍ QUE SÚPER RECOMIENDO EL producto Herbalife + ejercicio y buenos hábitos alimenticios para una buena salud ♥️♥️♥️”
“Tried this fast food spot during a busy afternoon and was actually pretty impressed. The line moved quicker than I expected, and my order came out hot and fresh. I got a burger combo, and everything tasted good, especially the fries which were crispy without being overly salty. The staff seemed friendly even with a lot of customers coming in and out. The dining area could've been a little cleaner, but it wasn't anything major. Overall, it was a solid experience and I'd definitely come back when I'm looking for something quick and affordable. Pretty good value for the money.”
“I got introduced to this 405 Vietnamese restaurant called come for a month and a half ago and I got addicted. I love the food serviced and friendly and make you feel at home and I just love this Vietnamese coffee that I get every time I come here keep up the good work”
“Saying I drove 2.5hrs on a Saturday morning just to have beef stew and bread for breakfast/lunch might throw some people off but honestly its more than worth the drive. I first came to this restaurant with my wife and every other time has been fantastic. The beef stew is absolutely packed with flavor and the meat is very tender. I appreciate the carrots and fresh jalapeños which add texture and some much needed heat to the meal. The baguette was very fresh, crunchy (I guess is the right word) on the outside and so soft in the center. It did a wonderful job of soaking every drop of the stew. I will absolutely be returning any chance I get, even if it means another 2.5hr roadtrip.”
“Nice lunch spot! $13.40 griller beef and a small salad. Friendly staff
Large rice and meat portions, very fresh and flavorful. The sauce is oyster garlic marinade. You can select your spice levels, I got the first level of spice it's pretty spicyy
Vietnamese style food, with sandwiches and coffee. All pretty affordable and good quality.
Parking is okay. Kind of small but not bad, but it's busy on the weekends”
“A small catering, food to go shop, 3 small tables inside, 3 outside. Their banh canh cua, udon crab noodle, is fantastic in quality and quantity, probably the best in oc, $17 eat in, special $8 only to go on Friday, a great deal.
The crab udon has a lump of minced crab, 3 large shrimps, large slices of boiled pork. The broth is rich, tasty, delish, no fishy odor, no excess sugar, light, nice, clean, not greasy and gooey like those in other shops. I ate it to the last spoon, and I am a picky eater.
If taken home, the udon noodle should be recooked in the broth for about 5 minutes to soften up.
They have a menu of about 30 traditional Viet dishes, hopefully as good and healthy as their crab udon. Will definitely come back and try them out.”
“we're on vacation and was served with Balut from a friend, the taste and size of eggs so well maintain, so we order large amount for travel home. but when we got home the eggs was not what we expected so we contacted the owner and was explain that there's misunderstood with communication when I order, the eggs I took was suppose to consume on that day not for few days later as eggs tend to grow in incubating stage, So the Owner refunded us to the whole order. talk about Service this is a first in my life time I experience.
this is why if I could give 10 Stars I would for Service”
“Wow! Most authentic and personal sushi joint I’ve been to. All you can eat too! My son and I were in town for A Jiu Jitsu tournament and came here after competing and received the best service ever. Tu the sushi chef was great and converted with us the whole time and made my son a free dessert after serving us some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. Take it my son and I eat sushi at least 1-2x weekly. The Carpacio he recommended was insanely good and the salmon belly/tuna belly nigiri(fine cuts) as well as the mango tango salmon roll. This place really takes the bag, I won’t go anywhere else when in town. I don’t remember the waiters name because I didn’t ask but he was also amazing and made us feel very taken care of. Thank you Tu and our waiter and this restaurant for creating such an amazing experience! (I never write long reviews..haha)”
“I order a Garlic Shrimp Noodle delivered to my work place. It got there right on time. Yummy! Hate that I love it!”
“1. The wings had a good batter and nicely seasoned!
2. The spot has casual vibes as it is located inside an HMart! The interior has high ceilings!
3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! It was ready in about 15 mins!
Note: There is a restroom area!

“Royal the best place you can hangout 👍🏻 good food and the best service ❤️”
“Very lively and fun atmosphere. Good food too and the staff are super friendly! Very loud so don't expect to hold an convos. Maybe a little more bass beats will set this place over the top!”
“Food was great. Everything was fresh and will be back soon. The hot pot and grill is good and well prepared. It's about 35 per person with out drinks. It's all you can eat beef and seafood.”
“This place was pretty good but I definitely would make it a take out place since the place seems run down.
Ordered the #4 bo la lot and it was great
#7 duck vermicelli was bad. Smelled terrible like they didn’t wash the duck enough
#10 bun cha was great
Overall would come back for the #4 and #10 but id stay clear of their duck dishes”
“Ordered the Pork, so much flavor not just the crispy skin but the meat itself! YuMMM. Ordered a little over half a pound for about $12, it’s a sufficient amount. Sorry not the best pic but I had to eat it!🤣 Togo spot.”
“This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is great and their prices are very good too. Staff is very friendly and accommodating as well.”
“Good food and service.. banh xeo is great and crunchy. Plenty of lettuce 🥬. Will come back again. 😋”
“I frequent Lien Hoa for there roast pork and peking duck which I highly reccomend. The best bang for your buck; roast pig head $10! crispy skin, tender soft fatty meat with tons of flavor!”
“Tables and chairs are arranged reasonably, not too close together, creating a comfortable space.”
“I ate here and I I flew 2,500 miles from Orlando, FL to Westminster, CA on a business trip and after 2 delays at LAX I finally got home at 2AM and I just woke up and had to tell everyone if you're in town remember to stop by Tan Kim Su on the corner of Bolsa Ave and Ward St!
Seeing the large selection of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Korean restaurants in Westminster/Garden Grove is dizzying. In Orlando we're only a 3 mile strip. Over there from Brookhurst to Bolsa it seems every intersection has 4 corners and 4 strip malls to eat the 4 major Vietnamese categories: banh mi, banh cuon, pho, and ca phe. A lot of them are humble and low key. There is a low key mom and pop charm associated with eating the plain 2010s wood interior with a slightly sticky floor, mismatched ceiling panels, haphazardly painted ceiling speakers, dusty television sets and window frames that haven't been dusted in who knows how long.
You will find many of those places but you can just not find an experience like Tan Kim Su. Big, spacious. grand, white. Luxury. Amazing crab and lobster tank view.
The fried rice was amazingly crisp. The egg noodles were very fresh. It was very clean tasting compared to most places.
It was busy noisy and lively! I came specifically Sunday December 14 around 12:00pm in Cali time. There was a line out the door. I worked restaurants before the pandemic. Some people will down vote your restaurant both if they think you have too few customers and especially if you have a lot of customers! If the sight of a packed, noisy, and busy restaurant scares you more than an empty one, there is probably nothing I can say to convince you. But look at the pictures this place was packed and alive and people are out having the time of their life with the mountains of food on the tables. If you like piece and quiet, maybe not at the hour I went. Look at the line of the door. People want to be here. And I can see why. They certainly aren't in line to ask talk about their 401ks on a Sunday.
And to top it off the owner in red came by our table to make sure everything was going well and it was with our group and associates. I watched she was working there alongside the staff, bussing, moving plates, even serving. She was energetic and charming as expected of any successful hospitality business owner. I once read in a book: people who treat you like they were expecting you/ready for you/waiting for you are the people you want to be around.
I could go on but I won't. But I could. Let me just end with this, if you are in the Westminster area on weekend travel like myself, time and food are precious. Each day you are probably not going to visit more than 3 restaurants (except many dessert places like che or ice cream or smoothie). If you are going to eat somewhere, make it worth it. It's not even that far from Phuoc Loc Tho and instead of eating street food in a gloomy tiny food court with weird drifters talking to themselves you could be enjoying life to its fullest.
Thank you for ending off our now memorable business trip to Westminster, Tan Kim Su Seafood Restaurant located on 10530 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683.”

“**4.5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨ Sweet Mood Westminster: A Fun Dive into Vietnamese Sweets**
Tucked in the heart of Little Saigon on Bolsa Ave, **Sweet Mood** is the colorful novelty dessert spot that’s perfect when you’re craving something cold and quirky after a pho run 🍧🇻🇳. The place is bright and playful—pastel walls, cute neon signs, and a long counter loaded with vibrant toppings. It’s classic fast-casual: order at the register, watch them assemble your treat, and grab it to go or enjoy at the small tables. **Convenient location** with plenty of plaza parking, and it’s open late—ideal for late-night sugar fixes.
**Service was friendly**—the staff smiled, patiently explained options for first-timers, and everything came out quick even during the weekend rush.
The **Vietnamese sweets** are definitely the draw here: I got the classic chè ba màu (three-color dessert) and a mixed fruit chè with coconut milk. Layers of mung bean, red bean, pandan jelly, and plenty of toppings like grass jelly and lychee. Flavors are authentic—sweet, creamy, and refreshing with that signature Southeast Asian vibe. Portions are generous and fun to dig through.
That said, deductions based on my personal preferences keep it from a full 5. I’m not the biggest fan of **crushed ice** (it waters things down a bit for me), the **mix** of textures can feel chaotic (beans + jelly + fruit all at once), and some **Vietnamese desserts** lean into “weird” territory for my palate—like the slightly starchy beans or intense pandan.
Still, Sweet Mood nails the novelty factor and delivers legit Vietnamese chè in a friendly, convenient spot. If you love adventurous sweets or grew up on these, you’ll rate it higher. For me, it’s a solid 4.5—fun to try, and I’d come back with friends who are bigger fans.”
“It’s a wonderful place because she started to go in and get the broth but my mom felt uneasy so it was just me eating so the worker took off her food so it’s just me eating then when we went to get the check the guy said it was on the house and it was the first time that happen to us and ps the food is SOOO good”
“I ordered the đậu xanh rau má (mung bean pasted with pennywort leaves) with half sweet and it was alright. The mung bean paste tasted old and plain, it slumped together and they didn't add much of it in the drink either. The taste of the leaves on the other hand is good, smell like the leaf itself not the artificial. So I can only give them 3pts. When I walked in the place was empty and they were all in the back , they didnt see or hear me w my friend walking in. I had to call them out to take my orders. The place also need a quick clean too”
“Nicely flavored wings. I ordered the fish sauce glazed wings, original garlic wings, and shrimp garlic noodles. The garlic wings and garlic noodles were great.
The fish sauce wings are exceptional. Nice umami flavor, cripsy, good size. Haven't had any wings like them before, very addicting. Will definitely order again.”
“With 90 degrees weather in March, decided to ☀️ 90° in March?! Say less… BOGO run activated 🧋🔥 take a drive to Tran Cream Coffee to snatch up their BOGO deal.
The Banafe hits with that bold Vietnamese coffee kick, balanced with a smooth hint of banana 🍌—rich, strong, and lowkey addictive.
The Banacha is the soft girl of the duo—subtle sweetness where matcha and banana blend perfectly without overpowering each other. Creamy, refreshing, and just right for this heat.
Two drinks. One deal. Zero regrets.”
“Best Bun Mam in OC! My mom used to make very good bun mam so it's been difficult for me to find good restaurants that can make this dish. The soup is very fragrant and each portion is full of meat, seafood and veggies! We also tried Mien Mang Vit and they are also great! We will be back!”
“I dont like pre-made milk tea. I like tea that is not too sweet or so much milk. I wanted to taste the tea and a hint of sweet. Not over powering the fresh brew tea. this location costumize my milk tea. and Thank you for that. But if you love sweet milky boba teas, refreshing fruit teas, smoothies, its the place to go definitely . Im just saying is I find the place where they make my drink perfect. 😉 tea leaves freshly brew - milk teas is the best. Beautiful ambiance. Workers have patience with kids. My Family Love it here its our date spot. Variety food and drink to choose for. We will be trying next is Ice cream. Pricing is not hilariously expensive like the rest of boba places. “Excellent Thai and Lao food! Having travelled both countries I have to say this is some of the best legitimate local style food I’ve had outside of Southeast Asia. Highly recommend the Lao sausage and the crispy rice salad”
