“This restaurant has a a minimalist clean, white decor. The staff was kind, and the sushi chefs at the counter seemed very friendly and engaged with the guests.
I went on a weekend for their lunch set tasting menu. Everything was executed well, though the dishes followed a very consistent flavor profile throughout the meal. While it was all very good and high quality, don't expect anything experimental or wild.
You will probably want to order a few extra items a la carte to feel fully satisfied. At around $225–$300 for lunch for two, the price tag feels a bit steep for a midday meal, but you are definitely paying for quality ingredients and a tasting experience.”
“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.”

“The best place to try Bosnian food! I can’t pick one favorite, from cevapi to pizza to pita , this food taste like homemade. All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. See you soon! Can’t wait for the most delicious Bosnian food on the west side of the United States.”
“What a wonderful brunch. We shared the breakfast platter and it was plenty for three people! Well we did have a couple of extras like a spinach boreck and an extra Simit!
Not only is the food wonderful, but the service and the beautiful personalities of the owner and her son and everybody working there was delightful.
Teşekkür ederim! !!

“Linh, our server was super friendly and pleasant. She always smile and attentive to her customers. You always feel happy to have her serve you. She's best at her jobs. She has great personality and superb skills with customers. Phở, rice with Salmon, rice with lemon grass chicken are so good. There portions are huge. Your money are well spent here. As for dessert, you also get free chè đậu xanh(mung bean sweet dessert) I highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely come back again and again. Thank you Linh for your kind service ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆”

“As a Turkish person who has lived in the U.S. for over 20 years, I can honestly say this is some of the most authentic Turkish food I've had here. The staff is warm and welcoming, the service is excellent. If you're looking for genuine Turkish cuisine, I highly recommend this place.”
“Sushi Koto is always a treat for me. I love to come here for what I feel is the next best thing to eating in Japan. There is always a wait for Sunday brunch, but they do take reservations. Excellent service and friendly staff. This is definitely not your ordinary neighborhood Japanese restaurant. Highly recommend it!”
“Round two and still obsessed! 🍜✨ We came back to NEP Cafe specifically for their incredible Vietnamese fusion food—they nail that modern twist every single time. The staff is total pro-status, the decor is major eye candy, and it's easily our favorite spot to vibe with family and friends. 10/10 will be back again!”
“Always a blast at the Blarney Stone! Regulars that will make your day and bartenders that know your drink! They are hard working and great people you will love them all no matter who is working! All the memories and Great Wall decor it’s worth checking it all out! Different things going on all the time no matter what day of the week! I go every time I visit Orange county! You may just find your people here !! Cheers!
(Also.. you can get food next door , just ask and anyone will tell ya! I recommend the carne asada fries)
Forever grateful for the people I have met here!”
“I think I just found a hidden gem sushi spot! Since the new owner came in, this place has completely leveled up in the best way. The interior got a fresh makeover and feels way more modern and cozy.
The sushi and sashimi are super fresh, and you can really taste the upgrade in quality. The rolls are next-level good now — seriously so much better than before!
On top of that, the staff and owner are all super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely giving good vibes all around.
This is officially my new go-to hidden gem sushi spot — I’ll 100% be coming back again and again! 🍣✨”

“An Evening at Kin Izakaya: Where Tradition Meets Ambiance In the culinary haven that our city embodies, Kin Izakaya emerges as a sanctuary of authentic Japanese flavors combined with the convivial spirit typical of Japan’s iconic gastropubs. It’s here that tradition and modernity collide to create not just a meal, but an experience worth savoring. The moment you step through the doors of Kin Izakaya, you’re greeted by an atmosphere that’s both lively and intimately comforting. The ambient lighting, coupled with rustic décor and understated oriental motifs, offers a welcoming reprieve from the city’s hustle and bustle. The soft murmur of patrons engaged in animated conversation sets the backdrop for an authentic izakaya experience. Kin Izakaya’s menu is a harmonious blend of traditional Japanese fare and innovative culinary creations. The tapas-style dishes, perfect for sharing, encourage a communal dining experience. From the delicate flavors of their sashimi to the robust, savory notes found in their yakitori selection, there’s a delightful complexity in each dish presented. The agedashi tofu, with its perfect crispy exterior giving way to silken tofu within, is a testament to the chef’s prowess in honoring traditional flavors while serving contemporary palates.”
“This place is so good every time we go and order it’s sooooo good. Their food is made fresh and delicious. It’s my favorite Indian food restaurant. Me and my family love it so much we drive for like 20 min to get it instead of another closer Indian food place that couldn’t even come close to this one. I definitely recommend getting this”
“Our first time here, and we had a great experience! The food, service, and ambiance were all excellent. My husband’s favorite was the braised pork over rice, our teen boy loved the lamb dip, and my favorite was the mango forbidden ice snow. Prices are very reasonable for the food quality and overall experience. Good to know they take reservations. We’ll definitely be back!”
“Great service, fantastic food, friendly atmosphere! Loved everything about the place. Can't wait to come back.”
“This is my favorite raw vegan restaurant! They also have a large menu of cooked vegan (or maybe that should be the other way around). I haven't tried their cooked food, but it looks absolutely delicious! I have not been to LA or the area in many years, and I am missing Au Lac!”

“Very good food & service.
Packed house even though we missed the Sunday dinner rush--we were seated smack in front of the wall & painted-over outlets, etc., very odd, do not recommend that table.
Wish it were closer to us.”

“For 20 years, after we have a family get together. Its been a tradition that we all have breakfast at the Magnolia Cafe before we all part ways. It’s always clean, the food is always delicious and the service has always been wonderful. It is truly a special establishment!”
“The food is fantastic, the staff is very friendly. There is plenty of seating if you want to come with a bigger group. The outside seating has plants all around and looks gorgeous. Place is very clean and well maintained. The prices for the food is nice , you get amazing portions for the price. It is definitely become one of my favorite spots and will come here more often when I'm around the area. If you haven't already you need to try food at this spot!”
“Marco is a phenomenal asset to the Paderia team! I recently started visiting this location, and I am beyond impressed. The service is outstanding, the drinks are delicious, and the cookies are absolutely amazing. Every visit has been a great experience thanks to Marco and his incredible staff, Mikayla and Jaydin.
They are all friendly, welcoming, and clearly take pride in providing excellent customer service. It’s refreshing to see a team that truly cares about the customer experience. I will definitely continue coming back and recommending this location to others!”
“This place NEVER disappoints. Every other pizza shop is a complete rip off and pales in comparison to the quality and price of this establishment. The pizza always comes out commercial ready, and I mean picturesque without sacrificing the taste. The ingredients are always fresh and their pies show. Do not believe me, try it for yourself.”
“Fresh, healthy food with a super quick turnaround 🙌 The staff is genuinely friendly and the whole place is spotless every time I come in. You can tell they really care about both the quality of the food and the customer experience. Definitely a go-to when I want something clean, fast, and satisfying.”

“We came on a Wednesday night after baseball with the kids. Clean, mellow, and friendly spot. The food was delish! Clean for burgers and fries… and the seasoning, temp, and crispiness of the fries was amazing. You can tell they use high quality ingredients and care about each dish coming out! Yum! We will be back!”
“You want that classic diner feel with great service and food to match? Papa Zs is the place my friend. In my youth it was the place to go when I was hungover with friends. Now it’s a place where I go with the family. I absolutely love this place!
Should you go to Papa Zs? Hell yah dude!”
“One if the best Pho's in the area hands down. The broth is VERY hot which i love. Ive had the chicken, beef, and shrimp pho and all are consistenly good. The noodles are firmer than most places but it works well since the soup is very hot and the noodles don't turn to mush.”
“We came late on Sunday late afternoon so not much left. The strawberry croissants are done and only a handle of baked goods with cakes and breads are left. This location is in not a friendliness neighborhood but it’s big and has their packing lot. Very spacious inside and huge seating area for dine in. Customer service is okey, could be friendlier but it’s late in the day and they have like an hr left before closing. Their breads are excellent, cakes are good, and baked goods are very good. We got 3 items to go for breakfast and prices wise, decent and reasonable.”
“There is a sublime, almost religious satisfaction in sitting down in front of a live fire with a plate of raw, heavily marbled beef and a freezing cold beer. It’s an interactive theater of fat, smoke, and instinct. And if you want to experience this ritual at its absolute peak, you don't look for white tablecloths or corporate steakhouse polish. You look for a place that feels a bit tucked away, cozy, and smells instantly like caramelized soy, rendered fat, and sweet wood charcoal the second you open the door.
This is world-class Yakiniku.
You start with the yukke—the raw beef tartare. In lesser hands, raw beef can be a texture game with no payoff. Here? It’s seasoned with precision, rich, clean, and spiked with an egg yolk that ties the whole beautiful mess together. It’s a declaration of intent: we know meat, and we know how to treat it.
Then, the main event. Plates of A5 Wagyu, Kobe outside skirt, and prime beef tongue arrive, sliced with the kind of geometric reverence usually reserved for fine tailoring. The marbling on the Wagyu doesn't even look real; it looks like a geological map of some frozen, beautiful landscape.
You drop a piece onto the grill. It hisses. The fat hits the element, flares up, and perfumes the air. You don't leave it on long—just enough to get a quick sear, a bit of char, while keeping the inside beautifully rare. You dip it in the tare, put it in your mouth, and it simply ceases to exist as a solid. It melts. It’s an absolute explosion of umami that makes you want to close your eyes and laugh out loud at how absurdly good it is.
Even the sides here aren't an afterthought. The kimchi fried rice has that deep, fermented funk and spicy kick that cuts right through the luxurious weight of the beef, waking up your palate just in time for the next round of short rib.
It’s not a cheap night out, and it shouldn't be. This is a celebration of the animal, handled by people who deeply respect the craft, served in an atmosphere that strips away all the pretentious nonsense of high-end dining and leaves you with what matters: incredible food, good company, and the smoke in your hair. It is, quite simply, perfection.”
Cheap Eats
“Ugh.... First the driver delivers half of our order with half of someone else's order. We ordered 2 small pizzas, large chicken caesar salad and 2 large meatballs. We received our two pizzas with someone else's small pizza and mozzarella sticks. We called the store, told them what happened. The other lady missing her food had already called. So they will send a salad and meatballs (and yes, we offered to pay for the extra pizza and mozzarella sticks). 45 minutes later the salad arrives with NO dressing. And 8 tiny meatballs... Bummer!!! PS: We still love you FCP!”
“Our family go to for years! Best prices, delicious food, and very very generous portions! We have used them to cater birthday parties and more. So easy to work with and they take both cash and credit (with a slight fee for using credit). Go to is the house chicken, coconut shrimp, bbq pork, string beans, and the orange chicken. Be prepared to wait, I went around 5:30 on a Friday and it took about 30 mins and line was out the door. If that doesn’t tell you how delicious and amazing the place is I don’t know what more convincing you need.”
“wow so glad i found this place from ig! it is like a candy store for an adult with great taste! I didnt know portuguese food was so amazing until here, theyve got everything and i carried a bunch of stuff like egg tarts, olive oils and sardines with me. they even have frozen fresh sardines from portugal! you will be amazed!”
“They have the best Canh Chu Ca! Really really. My family has been going for years. We crave it. When we tried to go on a Tuesday and they were closed we went elsewhere but it just wasn't as good. Mirada cooks the fish so that it is still so succulent. The flavor of the broth is perfectly balanced and tart. Please give this place a try for healthy Vietnamese food.”
“So happy they finally opened! Always great service! Amazing quality meat and fresh veggies!”

“I've been here several times and the food is always cooked perfectly and tastes great. I've ordered several different dishes, and my favorites have been their protein bowls and their battered fish tacos which are perfectly crispy. My only real complaint is that I wish it was spicier or that they offered a hot sauce (they might, but I've never seen it). I will say it does get a bit expensive, but I'm willing to pay for this quality and quantity of food. Also, the service has always been excellent and very helpful.”

“Dex coffee is such a cute coffee shop! I stopped in to try this place and the manager was so kind and helpful in explaining the menu items and the recommended drinks. I ordered the orange matcha einspanner and it was so good! I will definitely be back. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere, music, and aesthetic! Definitely give this place a try.”
“Matcha - need I say more? lol The matcha quality is great. Their drinks are not on the sweeter side so you really can taste the matcha. My sister got this matcha drink with water instead of (oat) milk, which I think is silly but hey, it worked lol The ambiance is a cute coffee shop vibe with limited seating and tables.”
“I got a few slices standard pep and cheese which was really good then I got a slice of a deep dish which was a Hawaiian style. Which is normally my fav, but it was just majorly of bread it needs more cheese and meat. I don’t think this was one of my fav places guess they try to be too fancy for me. Salad was good but this place is pricey.”
“The place is located in a corner of a strip mall. There was only one table to sit and it was full. I think this is just order and go type of deal. The sticky rice was delicious and flavorful with the toppings. Mixture of sweet from sausage and savory. Lychee was a perfect combo to wash all of that down.”
“My friends and I tried this place for the first time and everything was SO delicious! We started with the cesar salad, and it was one of the best I've ever had.
We tried the branzino, and we loved the lemony sauce that complemented both the fish and side of brocolini!
The pork jowl dish was so tender and packed full of flavor, and it came with lettuce that made each bite refreshing.
We also got the miso carbonara which was creamy, perfectly seasoned yet not too heavy.
Service was very nice and fast, so overall we had an amazing dinner!”
“First time eating there, very nice place food was delicious and the servers was great 😊”
