“Had a business lunch date here. We both were having a hankerin' for some delicious Dave's Hot Chicken. Was really surprised this place had really failed the decor test of all the other Dave's... Really disappointing! But the disappointment didn't stop there.. What goes great with a Dave's Hot... Milkshake... But, NO, not today! Sorry, machine is down! Down??? What is this McDonald's??? Didn't sit well with my client, ugghhhh! Come on Dave's... Get it together... Because your food... ON POINT! Great sandwich.. Crispy fries... BOLD flavor all the way through... Delicious... “My wife is Australian, and we are Armenian so when we heard that an Australian Lebanese chicken shop was right down the street from our office we had to check it out. I'm actually surprised it took me so long to figure out it was here! The owner Fred was there and he was so hospitable, his crew handle our order with care and the food was delicious and 100% Australian approved. The chips and secret menu item (chicken salt) were fire...my favorite on the go item is the OC wrap, hands down, and if I were trying to go healthy and light, the Newport Bowl is how I'd roll. If you've got time to sit down, grab the whole chicken with Lebanese bread and garlic salt.....straight fire! Great food, Great prices, nice environment, and friendly hard working staff...highly recommend and I'll be back!“
“This place is so cute! It reminds me of a hipster joint you would find in LA or Tokyo. They play funky music and offer happy hour everyday 8pm to close and you get $2 off munchies (their version of appetizers or small plates) and $1 off drinks. The food can be pretty spicy. For example, the drunken noodles were like a 7/10 on spice level. The boat noodle soup was loaded with robust flavor. The fried chicken wings appetizer was moist with a sweet and tangy sauce. They offer a variety of drinks from Thai tea to fresh coconut as well as unique desserts! I've been to Thailand and some of the best Thai restaurants in LA and OC and this place ranks among them for their creativity and uniqueness. The service is good and everything came out in good time. Another plus is that they provided eco-friendly to go packaging AND their water is fresh and clean! Didn't taste like tap water! I'd come back to try their other foods but make sure that the spice is not as intense.“
“Had two meals here recently: one lunch, and one late night take away (12:30am-ish). Both were well prepared, with the in person stuff being presented nicely for being basket fast food. Egg on the Ojai burger was perfectly cooked and the patty well seasoned. Spicy Miso fries were wicked tasty and huge portion. Katsu Sando takeaway was super crispy which is a must, along with the cut of chicken being substantial. I’ll be going back.“
