“I’ve been eating at this location for a couple years now and the food is always good. However, today the food was prepared exceptionally well and we loved everything that we had. There were also some new items which was a nice surprise. The employees were very friendly and helpful. St the last minute, I added some additional items and the items came out quicker than expected.“

Price. No more pre-pandemic, pre $20/hr wage specials like $5 meals. Everything's $10-15 for a fried chicken meal, and bucket meals $30-50~. Bucket deal on 12 piece was $20 today, $30~ with a large cole slaw and 2 biscuits.“

“It was my first time eating Pollo loco. The guy in the front was very helpful and nice. I got the street corn bowl with 2 spicy chicken tenders. The bowl was much better than the tenders. The tenders were just powdered with seasoning and it wasn't even spicy. Their habanero salsa was good as well. Will go back for sure.“

“Never had hunan chicken before I tried it here. The sauce over the juicy chicken and the ginger rice was absolutely delicious. Broth was super good as was the salad. 10/10 highly recommended if you like simple authentic Chinese food without the unhealthy American twist. Was ready super quick. And the Thai iced tea was really good as well.“

“Okay, so the food was seriously good. The chicken was moist, crispy, and super well-seasoned. You could tell it was really good quality Halal chicken. The french fries were very good, I'd go back just for them. Now, the service was pretty slow and not great because there was only one person working. She was mostly in the kitchen, so the front wasn't really being attended to. The dining area itself was quiet, not super clean, but there is an outdoor seating spot. Still, the food definitely made up for the downsides.“

foot inside this establishment, BUT, i have ordered food off their app and gotten it delivered like honestly 15 times in the last 2-3 months. i live in grad housing at UCI and order food from here often when i have a late workday. there’s not been one delivery where i have not gotten exactly what i ordered. sometimes they even hook it up with an extra salsa or two for my tortilla chips. i order the double chicken bowl and 10/10 times that bowl slaps. always hits the spot. food is great quality, chicken is always spot on, never dry. great food portions that make other places look like they need to step up their game. lowkey may never physically visit this place but will mostly mobile order from here over other food places. gg staff. also highly recc the app if you don’t have it.“

First off, Cynthia took my order and she was fantastic, offering her personal faves to try; which, I got the honey garlic boneless wings and the cheese sticks 🤤 MOUTH WATERING!!! “I would give this place 4.5 stars just for the chicken alone. It is extremely crispy and juicy, and it's not oily at all (like many fried chicken joints)

I would say the service isn't phenomenal. I think it must depend on the person who is working. I came in yesterday (Friday) and a lady with short hair was slightly careless, but nothing too horrible. I would still come back for the fried chicken.

The reason for the 4 stars on food is because of the western carbonara. I am convinced they must've forgot the salt or any other seasonings, but they definitely did not forget the cheese or cream, because it was creamy -- maybe too creamy. It would be way better if they added salt and pepper because that was the blandest pasta I've ever had. I had to add my own seasonings.

But nonetheless the fried chicken is really yummy. I would recommend the chicken with secret sauce (which tastes like orange chicken)“

Destiny at the front counter was friendly, professional, and explained the menu in detail. She made sure my order was correct, offered drink and shake options, and greeted every customer who walked in while helping me. “I think I've already posted about them? Anyhoot- The food, specifically the wings are absolutely the best I've ever had. They are NOT frozen and are cooked to order. They nail each of their flavors like a Gold medal. My wife and I have cravings... for these extremely fresh wings. A little pricey but worth it. I believe they sell wings in a 10 and 20 count.I always finish mine and have at least 3 of my wife's. If you worry about them being Korean BBQ....DON'T. You will have fireworks of flavors and textures blowing up total goodness on all of your tastebuds. If you do order don't expect 5 or 10 minutes as I said not frozen and cooked to order, make sure you know they'll take 15 to 20 minutes to make. I don't want to say anything bad at all, but they charge you for ranch dressing and it is a little priced high. But don't let that stop you. Go get your fingers covered in beautiful flavors, I've never been a finger licker, but I lick my fingers here. It's an exception. Go, you will fall in love...LOL“

The food is on point and meets all our breakfast, lunch and dinner needs! If you’re in the area it’s worth a stop for take out or dinning in the patio area!“

“Nice lunch/takeout spot in the area. It is one of the reliable go-to place in the area.

Hainan chicken is nice and definitely lighter meals to go for. Fried is solid but better chances when the owner makes them himself. The price point is very approachable and nice. However, I find this place inconsistent with portion and service time-to-time.

I know big chains can be reliable but we need more restaurants like this that could provide you something different and wider options. I hope this place does well.“

“Just an incredible experience at the drive-through. I wouldn’t leave a review unless this was special and they were so helpful kind polite. I hadn’t been to El Pollo Loco in a while so I had a lot of dumb questions and they helped me customize my order. We’re very quick and charming.

No issues with the food either I asked for creamy chipotle sauce on my classic chicken burrito. Highly recommend it.“

“I ordered the chicken leg meat with dipping sauces and broth. Honestly, the chicken was great on its own. I didn't care for any of the sauces. The rice was a bit salty but still good.

The setup felt a little odd. There was a loud speaker on loop reminding Uber and DoorDash drivers to pick up orders in the back. It was super annoying. I really think they would benefit from having a host instead of relying on that speaker.

That said, the place itself was cool, and I liked that you can order from several different shops all through the same kiosk.“

“I get the spicy deluxe chicken sandwich and I ask for extra slices of American cheese. I do get the Chick-fil-A sauce so that I can dip the sandwich into it, but if you are in the mood for an even spicier sandwich, I would go with the zesty buffalo sauce! 5-stars for food and service!“
