“I’m going to be completely honest and say that the outside of this KFC does resemble something from the set of a post apocalyptic film. It’s a little daunting from the outside at night. But, let me tell you something, the woman working the window last Wednesday night restored some of my faith in humanity. I had tried to place an order in the app on our way there, but I was unable to, I assume due to it being 29 minutes before closing. We were on our way home and decided to get off the freeway and see if we could order in time. We got there about 20 minutes to closing, half expecting not to be able to order. I never like to order food from a place that is near closing, as I find it highly inconsiderate, but we weren’t close to home and we were hungry, so we did. We ordered the Wednesday chicken fried steak meals at the drive thru, and were so surprised by how happy and friendly the woman working the drive thru was. We felt bad for showing up so close to closing and this woman seemed completely unfazed and genuinely happy to serve us. We got our order, it was hot and it had napkins, condiments AND utensils. It also came with a smile and I appreciate that.“

My 7 year old had a great time with the chicken wings and the octopus and shrimp sushi. “I think I've already posted about them? Anyhoot- The food, specifically the wings are absolutely the best I've ever had. They are NOT frozen and are cooked to order. They nail each of their flavors like a Gold medal. My wife and I have cravings... for these extremely fresh wings. A little pricey but worth it. I believe they sell wings in a 10 and 20 count.I always finish mine and have at least 3 of my wife's. If you worry about them being Korean BBQ....DON'T. You will have fireworks of flavors and textures blowing up total goodness on all of your tastebuds. If you do order don't expect 5 or 10 minutes as I said not frozen and cooked to order, make sure you know they'll take 15 to 20 minutes to make. I don't want to say anything bad at all, but they charge you for ranch dressing and it is a little priced high. But don't let that stop you. Go get your fingers covered in beautiful flavors, I've never been a finger licker, but I lick my fingers here. It's an exception. Go, you will fall in love...LOL“

“I came to Dave’s Hot Chicken and had such a great experience! Giselle is honestly one of the best cashier I’ve ever had. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made us feel so well taken care of.
And the chicken here is SO tender and juicy! I’ve been to other Dave’s Hot Chicken locations, but this one is definitely better. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this location and a huge shoutout to Giselle for the amazing service! ❤“

“The reviews are correct. Small little restaurant that looks family owned and ran by the owners. Love to support small business and even better when the food is delicious.

I’ve tasted plenty of teriyaki bowls and was expecting the usual watery chicken but this one tasted like it was cooked to perfection. It had a little charred tasted that had that extra kick and taste to make your mouth water.

Out of all the teriyaki bowls I’ve tasted, this one is definitely up there and a contender for the #1 spot on my list of teriyaki bowls, which says a lot.

If I’m ever around the area, I’m definitely stopping by and I would even make a drive from the other side of the city.

“I’ve been to Koko Chicken & BBQ a few times now and the food has been really good every time. The chicken is crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right, and the portions are solid for the price. The staff is always friendly and the whole place has a nice, laid-back vibe. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re craving some good Korean-style chicken and BBQ. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Love Knotts Chicken Dinner. My go to when travelling to LA. As always the food was delicious, our servers were attentive. It was busy but still doable. We didn't make a reservation, my mistake. The wait was an hour but we were sat within 30 minutes. I would recommend clicking the reserve button ahead of time to get seated early. Def took food home. Always a pleasure.“

The chicken had the right balance to the tongue, moist, steamed well and served at room temperature. The three sauces were also well done and balanced. The chicken rice was not overly oily, fragrant, right balance of garlic/pandan leaf. We also got the chashui bento as well and very nice cuts of the pork, well seasoned, not overly sweet with 3 beautiful sides. Would definitely come again. “I finally tried Jollibee in the seafood city and the chicken definitely lived up to the hype. The fried chicken was extremely crispy and crunchy without being overly greasy, and the spicy chicken had a much bigger kick than I expected, which I ended up really enjoying.

For sides, we tried the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. They were decent, but neither stood out compared to the chicken. The dessert was probably my least favorite part of the meal. It was overwhelmingly sweet for my taste, although some of my family members enjoyed it more than I did.

Overall, the chicken was easily the highlight and is what I’d come back for. The meal did leave my stomach feeling a little upset afterward, but honestly, the chicken was good enough that I’d still consider returning. If you’re visiting for the first time, the spicy chicken is definitely worth trying.“
