“I usually don’t like writing reviews, but Austin at the Dave’s Hot Chicken drive-thru in Irvine really inspired me to write one. He was honestly one of the friendliest employees I’ve ever interacted with. His enthusiasm and kindness made the whole experience feel really positive. It’s rare to have someone be that genuinely nice and energetic, especially in a quick drive-thru interaction. Austin definitely deserves recognition for making my day better.“

“Really impressed by how consistent this place is. I’ve ordered from multiple locations and the quality has always been solid. The Hainan chicken is flavorful, the broth is comforting, and everything tastes fresh. It’s healthy without feeling boring. Perfect quick lunch option when you want something filling but not too heavy.“

“I ordered the chicken leg meat with dipping sauces and broth. Honestly, the chicken was great on its own. I didn't care for any of the sauces. The rice was a bit salty but still good.

The setup felt a little odd. There was a loud speaker on loop reminding Uber and DoorDash drivers to pick up orders in the back. It was super annoying. I really think they would benefit from having a host instead of relying on that speaker.

That said, the place itself was cool, and I liked that you can order from several different shops all through the same kiosk.“

“This is the first place I have found in Orange County that makes a hot chicken that is legitimately too hot to handle. And I say that as I sweat through the next 3 tenders. It's fantastic but I'll actually order something a little milder next time. Get Clucked means business.“

“You can tell this is a family owned business that really cares about its quality. All the chicken are freshly fried, that's why there is a bit of a wait. The waffle is actually my favorite, super crispy, best waffles I've had in a while.“

“Just an incredible experience at the drive-through. I wouldn’t leave a review unless this was special and they were so helpful kind polite. I hadn’t been to El Pollo Loco in a while so I had a lot of dumb questions and they helped me customize my order. We’re very quick and charming.

No issues with the food either I asked for creamy chipotle sauce on my classic chicken burrito. Highly recommend it.“

“Only ever tried the Fire Fries and this is my first time ordering here so I don't know if this is normal for these fries or if I got a weird batch but these are SPICY. I am able to down a pack of Buldak x2 Spicy without a problem so when I say the Fire Fries are spicy, I mean it hurts like the fries hate you, burns it's way down, and while the tongue eventually settles down, my gut is bubbling and it's so painful, I can barely sit straight. Delicious!“

“I came with my daughter on saturday and Alek took our order in the drive thru and we had an amazing experience with him. He was helpful, kind, extremely polite and patient with my toodler it was our first time coming and her first time ordering on her own!🥹 He had a great attitude and made your first time at chick fil a a great and memorable one!😁“

“I wish there was one closer to the Fresno area. I’m a sucker for good popcorn chicken and this one absolutely didn’t disappoint. The chicken was cooked just right. The meat was still nice and juicy. The one thing that I wasn’t a fan of was the fish cake. It tasted like a fishy mochi. Scratch that it wasn’t bad but I would get it again. The chicken for sure is where it was at. The service was friend and the place had a few seats but it was more of a to go place. Oh and the sauces that I got especially the J&G sauce was like a spicy mayo was very good. I think it’s even better than the Cane sauce and would go good with the Raising Cane chicken.“

“I ordered the spicy original and the soy garlic wings. The wings are fairly large (compared to Wingstop) so the 8 piece small is enough. Both flavors were really good with the spicy original being more like just a just a small kick than actually spicy.“

“Very clean and welcoming place with a beautiful atmosphere. The restaurant is always well maintained, the tables are kept spotless, and the interior design is beautiful.

All of the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. Service was fast, and everyone I interacted with was kind and welcoming. I would especially like to thank the lady who helped me during my visit (I believe her name was Yali). She was incredibly warm, patient, and attentive, and was always happy to help whenever I needed assistance.

“The fried chicken is on point. Good crunch, taste, everything right. The fries could be good, but they’re always soggy when doing take away. Soggy already at pick up. I really wish you would stop using closed boxes, trapping all the moisture. Instead use the same type of boxes as for the chicken, so the fries stay crunchy as well.“

“I finally tried Jollibee in the seafood city and the chicken definitely lived up to the hype. The fried chicken was extremely crispy and crunchy without being overly greasy, and the spicy chicken had a much bigger kick than I expected, which I ended up really enjoying.

For sides, we tried the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. They were decent, but neither stood out compared to the chicken. The dessert was probably my least favorite part of the meal. It was overwhelmingly sweet for my taste, although some of my family members enjoyed it more than I did.

Overall, the chicken was easily the highlight and is what I’d come back for. The meal did leave my stomach feeling a little upset afterward, but honestly, the chicken was good enough that I’d still consider returning. If you’re visiting for the first time, the spicy chicken is definitely worth trying.“
