“this is a solid all you can eat shabu spot!great food choices, and it all looked very fresh. they were great about constantly checking to see if you need anymore broth or meat. it has some of the best broths we've ever had at a Shabu place. Definitely worth trying! it can get busy so join the Yelp waitlist if you can.“
“When people are lining up to get in, it's hard to guarantee the quality, when people are going to get tired of working like crazy from all the demand. BUT I must say, I can't complain with what I got. 붕어빵 was fresh, and the 팥 was nice and sweet. This totally made up for that mediocre dim sum a couple stalls down.“
“Was very delicious and fresh. My fiancé and i tried it for the first time while out in irvine and the employee was very kind when it came to answering questions that we had on menu items. when we got there it wasn't too busy and there was a few areas to sit inside but many outside. Food was great definitely recommend.“
“Foodie living in Irvine for 6 years. I've gone to many barbecue places including both Japanese and Korean. But this place always has a special place in my heart Our go-to Korean barbecue in OC!!! We love it because the beef is so fresh. Their Kimchi soup is the best. Everything is so clean and not greasy at all! Highly recommend it! Service is amazing too! Feel very welcomed.“
“Ube and Matcha Marvels!Tried Ube and Matcha at this ice cream spot, and even as a non-matcha fan, I was pleasantly surprised. Both flavors were delightful—Ube was rich, Matcha was surprisingly good. Highly recommend checking them out for a unique and tasty ice cream experience!“
“I recently dined at Dada Shabu Shabu and it was nothing short of amazing. The cozy atmosphere paired with exceptional shabu shabu, where the broth and fresh ingredients did all the talking, made my meal memorable. The staff’s warmth and attentiveness added to the experience, making me feel right at home. This place is a true hidden gem that I can’t recommend enough!“
“My firm has been a tenant here for several years and in two different suites. Office rent and ancillary costs are very reasonable, leasing office staff is always helpful and accommodating, and any needed repairs are addressed promptly. 10/10 would highly recommend!“
“No mames this is spicer than expected. Rice cakes are amazing but damn that’s no Korean chili sauce it’s legit Mexican spice level; just to start the “mild” level sauce was as spicy as a good agua chile sauce back in town. Amazing little place but be careful if you’re not a fan of “
“Food, service, atmosphere, everything was great. The owner, married couple who look like they are in late 50' or early 60's are so hip and stylish I had to comment on their outfits. Hahaha. It"s mom and pop shop but not the ordinary ones. Definitely one up.I love going here for Korean food but not the typical k-bbq.“
“They Finally opened one closer to me. I've made the drive to ktown to CHD but Im in SD Thankfully i can make the drive up almost every weekend to OC for some of this good stuff. Love your dumplings and soups. Also great to be able to pickup frozen packs to take home and cook“
“Great selection of different dishes. Good tasting food. Good portion size to price ratio. It would be beneficial if the menu had descriptions though2nd visit:Great service. They gave us a basket of fries on the house. The large fried chicken basket is expensive but huge. Easily enough for two or three people“
“Came here for lunch special with my dad. Only one order allowed per person for $11.92 each. We got the spicy story fried pork and the seafood tofu. Both were excellent and quite spicy!! The waitress working there was the nicest person ever. Like over the top service and quality. Very clean and empty when we came during opening hours.“
“We were craving Korean soup and we're happy to find this place on Yelp. Got the galbi tang and spicy soondae soup. The galbi tang comes with a good amount of meat and the broth is light yet flavorful. The spicy soondae soup had a nice kick to it and contained a bunch of meat and soondae in the soup. The radish kimchi side dish was one of the best I've eaten as well. Service was attentive and the food came out quickly too. Would 100% come back!“
“Amazing ? ?We went on a rainy day, and I craved heartwarming food. The service here was supper friendly. We were standing outside, trying to figure out what they sold. The guy came out with the menu. He also helped us order. We have the pork belly and beef noodles. Both were very tasty and not dealy spicy. Kimchi is 10 out of 10 ? The restaurant is full of Kpop atmosphere. They really fulfill my craving after watching k drama.“
“Went and got a Korean style lunch, the gochujjang pork rice bowl. It's was fine. Nothing special and very pricy for what it was. When I got there it was empty but it filled up quickly with blizzard employees. There are Korean side dishes that look homemade in the refrigerators for sale. I thought they were expensive too but ymmv.“
“Kyodong Noodles is a gem in the food court, offering superb noodles in a clean, inviting space. The noodles are flavorful and cooked to perfection, catering to all tastes with options like ramen, udon, and soba. Despite difficulties hearing order numbers in the bustling environment, the dining experience is unforgettable. While prices may seem a bit high for a food court, the quality justifies it. Overall, Kyodong Noodles is a must-visit for noodle lovers seeking a satisfying meal.“
“Great place to dine with friends! This place is open late which makes it the perfect last stop on a Friday night. We ordered the spicy pork bulgogi and galbi with the seafood and dumpling tofu soup, and the fried tofu appetizer. Everything was delicious but our favorites were the galbi and the soup. Each entree comes with banchan (spicy cucumber salad, kimchi, potato salad, fish cakes, and salted fried fish). The cucumber salad was the table favorite and servers come around to refill the banchan plates as requested. We ordered everything at medium spicy but if you're looking for a real kick, definitely go spicier.“
“To be honest, I was a little surprised when they switched to AYCE. However, they exceeded my expectations! We went on a Sunday with the price per person being $33.99. Not bad at all! The AYCE selection was wonderful, meats were high quality and yummy- especially the galbi eye steam stacker!! Super soft and delicious. Ribeye and chuck tender were very good as well. There was a great selection of blue crab, manila clams, shrimp, squid, mussels, assorted fish balls, and veggies. Everything was fresh and frequently refilled. The staff here are always wonderful- great teamwork and amazing service. The girls on the floor were moving super quickly and knew what they were doing!! The whole team here is always on top of things.Definitely worth it! Not only do you get a variety of meats, seafood, and veggies, but there's also hot dishes like fried chicken, samgyeobsal, porridge, etc. all included.“
“Delicious foods with very good service! Noble and nice ambiance! Food There are mouthwatering meat with heartwarming tofu soup and delicious salad with such good delicious side dishes. Service All servers are super nice. They are asking if any side dishes are needed. Before asking the servers to bring more side dishes, I find out more salad and side dishes. Environment What a clean and noble environment it is! Overall This is my go-to K-BBQ place. If you are in the area, definitely check it out!“
“Very genuine Korean fried chicken it was!I was very satisfied with this whole chicken, I missed it so much!I loved they also give side dishes too. Those radish pickle and cabbage salad♥︎♡♥︎♡ very refreshing!I ordered additional dipping sauce($2) and it was tasty too!I can recommend this place :)“
“I went to Irvine with my friend for some errands and we were wondering what to have for lunch, so we searched on Google. We were craving Korean food, and there was a place nearby called Tang & Tang, so we decided to give it a try. The interior was really clean and nice, which immediately put us in a good mood! We ordered tonkatsu and galbijjim (not spicy). Oh my, the tonkatsu was absolutely delicious! It was unlike any other tonkatsu I’ve had before, so I definitely thought about coming back again. We ordered the galbijjim not spicy this time, but next time I think we’ll try it a bit spicier! The female staff was also very nice and friendly, and we left feeling really happy until the end of our meal!“
“The meat quality is top-tier, and the AYCE price is relatively cheap considering its in Irvine. Our server was quick and attentive, responding to our request in time. The only thing I think this restaurant can be improve is the Yelp reservation system, we are in waitlist #4, but after few minutes, we became #8 spot. We asked the front server about his, and he quickly find us a table when its vacant.“
“This was our first KBBQ experience, our server Dominick was so helpful and gave us great suggestions. The food was amazing as well as the side dishes. Servers were so attentive and fast! Only downside is the wait, and the music inside is very loud and overstimulating.“
“We finally had a chance to dine at, Kaju Soft Tofu, in Irvine. I was so happy to see that there was a waitlist I could join on Yelp. As everyone here knows, BCD Tofu, is very similar to this place, but you cannot add yourself to the waitlist until you get there, and the wait could be ridiculously long. That's a bit inconvenient in my opinion. When we were seated, the staff member politely asked if they could take my crutches for me as they saw that I had been injured. They were attentive to us the entire time. We never ran out of water, and our side dishes were always refilled. A note, they don't give you your ban chan until your food arrives there. This was different for me, as I'm used to ban chan already on the table by the time that you get to your seat or immediately after getting seated. What we ordered: all came with rice 1) Galbi Tofu Soup - mild (hubby can't handle much spice) What a chicken. JUST KIDDING, sort of. 2) Oyster Tofu Soup - spicy for me. I could've probably had very spicy. Its seems my heat tolerance has gotten higher. 3) Dumpling tofu soup - white. Meaning no spice for my kid. 4) Two orders of the Galbi short ribs While we waited for our food, a robot came to our table. Let me tell you...the look of confusion and What the F do I do was on my face. LOL. I had to nervously laugh to myself because I didn't know if I was supposed to retrieve the food myself...or wait for the service staff. FYI, they'll come grab the food and place it at your table for you. Everything was absolutely delicious. I couldn't tell a difference between Kaju vs BCD, honestly. The only difference would've been the sides. Here they had jap chae, BCD has the fish cake. All other sides were the same and their kimchi was also VERY good. I don't eat kimchi from anywhere but BCD, but I will eat Kaju's because it's that tasty. Overall, definitely 5 stars for the great service, delicious food, ban chan, AND the fact that I can put myself on their waitlist on my Yelp app. That's always a plus. My daughter and I, cannot wait to go back for a mom and daughter date.“
“Love this place! Food is always great. Made fresh. Staff are always nice and give great service. My favorite thing to get here is the TUNA MELT! I am not a fan of tuna at all until I had theirs. There are times where they will run out because they make a certain amount of tuna salad for the day. Not complaining about that, I just know that it was made fresh that day, so I definitely love it! So order ahead by calling in. If you're not a fan of it at all, give any of their sandwiches a try and ask them to add that chipotle sauce, changes everything, you will thank you me later. If you are in the Irvine area, give them a try!Kid-friendliness: They have baby seat chairs for dine-in and kid friendly items as well.Parking: Since this is a small cafe surrounded by business establishments it will be difficult to park but it is fortunate that you do not have to pay for any parking. Usually people come to just pick up and go so parking isn't usually a problem.“
“Amazing staff, 10/10 food. overall amazing experience. Shoutout to our sweet server, we had just gotten rear ended and weren't even sure about going out to eat anymore but as soon as she welcomed us in she changed our entire day around. She was so awesome and attentive, especially to our 1 year old baby boy. i would drive from riverside to irvine just to experience this place again, highly recommend.“
“This restaurant is my go to in the area whenever I crave chinese korean food such as tangsuyuk and/or jajangmyeon. The food here is delicious and oily so you know its legit. Also, their sweet and sour shrimp is actually decent too and i order it sometimes when i'm in the mood.“
“Randomly stumbled across this Korean restaurant when searching Korean food in Irvine. To my surprise the food and service are really good. It is not loud and a good place to eat with friends and family. We ordered the cold noodle, it is well balanced, with egg and beef slices. The noodle is chewy and I like the texture of it. It also comes with banchan such as fish cake, cabbage, kimchi, and more. We also try the ox tail soup, it is not salty but we have option to add salt into it to make it more salty. But it has huge bone flavor to it which I really like. Parking maybe a little difficult during lunch hours since the parking spots in front of the restaurant is limited, but there's more parking at the back.Server is friendly, although place is small, but it seems like a hearty place to eat. Price is affordable, will come back again!Parking: Sometimes parking in front is limited but there’s back parking“
“Came to the H Mart food court to have some noodles for lunch with my daughter but I also wanted to try a Korean hot dog! So we decided to share a hot dog as an appetizer haha! Since my daughter is a vegetarian we decided to try the sweet potato with mozzarella cheese. It did take a while before our order was ready but the hot dog was fresh, hot and crispy! It was very tasty and I will definitely come back to try one with a sausage and cheese combo with a potato coating. They also ask if you want it coated with sugar which sounds interesting.“
“This place is great, the food is good but on the pricey side. The staff is very nice and gave helpful info. The homemade kimchi was delightful, I recommend it. It's very versatile and fresh. It's located inside Niko Niko Sushi which is also a good place.“
“Simple and good. Makes me think of the gimbap in Seoul when I studied there. I sometimes find it hard to get tuna salad gimbap and I was so happy to find it here. It really hit the spot (I even tried a beef gimbap at Ktown in Hmart just earlier in the day). Cheaper than ones you'd find nearby, $6 for mine. I think it even has the perilla leaf!“
“Wagyu Meat and Grill is a family-owned teriyaki grill and fresh meat market specializing in top quality Wagyu beef bowls and plates. At the time of this review, they have 2 locations in Irvine and another in Buena Park. We visited their location off Irvine Center Drive near Sand Canyon Avenue. It can be found nestled in a strip mall between Bay Poke and Grater Grilled Cheese. Their website mentions "superior service", but IMO the staff was friendly enough but I wouldn't say they went above and beyond to ensure a quality dining experience. I ordered the Wagyu Moco because I can't resist a good loco moco. I'm a big eater, so I appreciated the size of the wagyu patty topped with an egg. The side of rice, mac salad and cole slaw served to complement what turned out to be a hearty meal. All in all, it was a good deal for the price and I would be willing to try again in the future.“
“First time trying this place and let me tell you it was amazing!service was great and loved all of my meal the Waygu beef was my favorite it was so good!I personally was the biggest fan of the Mac salad but it is probably my taste buds.definitely recommend“
“They offer a great variety of meats, and the freshness of the cuts is definitely a highlight. However, the portions for each dish seem quite large. This can be a bit daunting, especially if you want to try a few different options from the menu, as leftover food often comes at an additional cost. Despite this, the atmosphere is very family-friendly, and the service was excellent.“
“I want to give 10 stars for the service!! The price is in the upper range for the most korean bbq. Signature Black Pork Belly is the one you want to get. We went there at 6:00pm for dinner, and the place was getting filled up as we approach Friday night mode. Even with packed crowds, the servers constantly checked and cooked the foods. They were very attentive and nice.“
“One of my favorite Korean good eats with family and friends. Nothing fancy just authentic tasty Korean food, and good quantity too. The side dishes are fresh, yummy and can request for 2nd, 3rd helpings. The price has gone up recently, buy still compatible with others in the areas. Bring your great appetite to try the different dishes on the menu. It gets busy, prepare to wait during lunch / dinner hours and weekends. Parking can be tricky on weekends!!“
“I go here sometimes because it's right in front of my house. I'm a cold noodle fanatic. I ordered bibim naengmyeon and it was good. I think this is great in America. I recommend it.My daughter enjoys the seafood soft tofu here, and that’s okay too.“
“Been here 2x now. The lady at the front is so kind and patient and will recommend something to you if you can't choose. There was also a gentleman who kindly brought out some salt for my chicken (ginseng chicken soup) and was very sweet.Good portions and a tiny bit pricy but worth it tbh the quality is lovely and they give that mom and pop shop feel you might get in a stand alone restaurant“
“I don't usually frequent kbbq restaurants, but I did enjoy coming here. I've been here for lunch for 2 and dinner for 2 recently.Lunch $28Dinner $37All you can eatThe bulgogi is a must if you are having kbbq along with the brisket. Very fast to cook and you can eat right away. I would also recommend the spicy version of the bulgogi and the short rib. Very tender! This location has robots that deliver your meat and rice. First time I ever see anything like that. The future is here!!Overall, its easy place to go in during the week. No wait. Fast service and good food!“
“Love it. It's the best it's very clean and it has a cafe you could also buy school supplies and delicious food 10/10 I suggest you guys come. really good. It's the best. It's very clean, there's a cafe, and you can buy school supplies and delicious food. 10/10 I definitely recommend you come here.“
“I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Best Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had. I used to go to Korea town in LA and this place is just as amazing if not better. Very generous portion. Skin stays crispy and the sauces are delicious- Soy Garlic and Spicy are my two favorite flavors. Also tried bibimbap and avocado salmon salad and both dishes are very tasty. Lots of other healthy options on the menu.By far my favorite Asian fusion place in OC. Aside from the food, easy parking & great and fast service. I live and work super close to this location so definitely will be coming back a lot!“
“BEST fried chicken I've had in my life! Idk how this place only has 3.5 stars?? Prior to this, my favorite spot was all the way in Colombia called "Chicken Box." I'm definitely going back to try more off the menu. I highly recommend the #1.“
“Soondae number 14 is a full platter of Soondae. I doubt one person could finish at all. I shared it with my wife while we enjoyed some quiet time in the grocery store. The glass noodle was very good since it made the Soondae puffy and warm.“
“Food is usually fresh and portions are good. The glass noodles are good and the staff are really nice. Obviously not going to the best bimbimbap and curry katsu of your life but if you're expecting that for the price that's on you.“
“TOUR DE JOUR REVIEW ONLY: COFFEE: Butter Pecan Latte & Pumpkin Pie Latte (seasonal drinks) are not too sweet (best compliment amirite) and just right. My BF always gets black coffee and he likes them! PASTRIES: The sausage bun and milk cream buns are delicious.“
“My husband and I happened to be in the area, so we decided to check out the HMart food court for lunch. Out of all the different restaurants, this one was the most appealing to us at the time, haha. I got the pork katsu bento lunch special, and he got the chicken katsu bento lunch special, which also comes with your choice of soda or water. I was initially shocked at how much food the bento box came with! There were two layers of katsu, salad, a small serving of macaroni salad, seaweed salad, two takoyakis, two gyozas, a side of miso soup, and a scoop of rice. I was IMPRESSED! and immediately told my husband we should have shared LOL. While I have had better katsu elsewhere, I did appreciate the light breading and that the meat wasn't too dry. I love how much variety there is to this bento and the generous portion size. The food came out fairly quickly, and the lunch special is definitely a deal considering the amount of food you get. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the area and looking for a filling lunch!“
“This place is a hit or miss. The food is fantastic when it's cooked properly. Can't say much about the service as in most locations high school kids are operating the front end of the store and it's not the cleanest restaurant you have ever been to.Parking: They are located mostly In large shopping centersKid-friendliness: Small place, good for kids“
“It was just so delicious. The tteokbokki was delicious and very similar to the taste I had in Korea, and the sundae seemed to be the best among the ones I had in America. When eating sundae in the U.S., most of the time it was dry or cold and tasteless, but it was really delicious. I highly recommend it if you want to experience the taste of Korean snacks. The food court was also in Korean style, so the atmosphere was nice. I'm eating well.“
