“It just doesn’t get any better than this. I’m telling you, it’s the best ramen in America. The tonkatsu broth is cooked for 24 hours and you can taste the depth of flavor in every bite. The crispy chicken is a perfect starter. Served fresh and hot and super crispy. Edamame is fantastic as well as the pork buns. They add the tip on the total, So be careful not to double tip the server. (Unless you want to!) Strip mall has free parking, but the entire area is busy, so you may have trouble finding a spot.“
“Good food and the best dessert in town.If you’re looking for oily spicy stir-fry Chinese food, this is NOT the place to go.Everything here is refreshing healthy, and tasty. It is very different from any Chinese restaurant. I like it very much. It might be my personal preference. But me and my family really enjoyed their food.“
“A&J has been one of my favorite spots for Taiwanese food for the past 7-8 years. I initially came here with my sister all those years ago to get from beef rolls. Over the years, I began taking my friends and they once accused me of "gatekeeping" A&J from them because of how delicious their food is. My personal favorites whenever I come to A&J are the beef rolls, scallion pancakes, and sesame peanut noodles (113 on the menu). The beef rolls are a classic dish with tender beef and green onion wrapped around a crispy scallion pancake. The sesame peanut noodles are great if you enjoy noodles coated in a creamy sauce. My favorite thing to do is to order extra scallion pancakes on the side so that you can dip it in the leftover sesame peanut sauce after you finish your noodles! A&J will always be a staple when it comes to Taiwanese food and I will always find a reason to come back! :)“
“Stopping by for a late lunch early dinner with my hubby during their happy hour. What a steal from the happy hour deal for dinning in! Our total came out to be around only $32 before tip with 2 bowls of trio shrimp noodle, extra egg topping, braised tofu appetizer and a hot tea. Take out is still regular price though. The bowl size is a very good portion, actually a bit big for me. I could only finished half of it. I had the tossed noodle and hubby got the broth one. Although the tossed noodle has good flavor, I have to say I prefer the broth one better. I can taste the flavors of the shrimp peels being roasted before shimmered into the broth, so much depth and richness. Now I know which one to get next time. Will definitely come back again to try other dishes and bring my boys along as well.“
“Food is good and flavorful, and it was ready in 5 minutes. However I find the portion a bit too small for the price, at least for the house special boat noodle which is about 18 dollars. It had quite a lot of meat but the amount of noodles was quite small and I wasn't able to be full.“
“This noodle shop offered a decent dining experience. The noodles were flavorful, and the snacks provided a tasty accompaniment. While the food was enjoyable, the overall ambiance and service were average. It's a suitable spot for a quick and satisfying meal, but don't expect anything extraordinary“
“Had about 35 min before class to grab a quick bite to eat and ended here at a warm, Pho restaurant. rainy days call for a delicious bowl of Pho. Staff were extremely friendly and helped me put together a delightful dish!So excited that this place is literally 1 min drive from my school ?Rating: 8.7/10Kid-friendliness: Ask your server about options for the little ones!“
“This is the best noodle shop I have ever eaten. The service is very good. The service is proactive and they gave me discount coupons. I want to share this noodle shop with everyone.I really love the service. By the way, the restaurant had unlimited filling noodles. Amazing service this morning.“
“Food, service, atmosphere, everything was great. The owner, married couple who look like they are in late 50' or early 60's are so hip and stylish I had to comment on their outfits. Hahaha. It"s mom and pop shop but not the ordinary ones. Definitely one up.I love going here for Korean food but not the typical k-bbq.“
“Kyodong Noodles is a gem in the food court, offering superb noodles in a clean, inviting space. The noodles are flavorful and cooked to perfection, catering to all tastes with options like ramen, udon, and soba. Despite difficulties hearing order numbers in the bustling environment, the dining experience is unforgettable. While prices may seem a bit high for a food court, the quality justifies it. Overall, Kyodong Noodles is a must-visit for noodle lovers seeking a satisfying meal.“
“I am so hooked on the fresh noodles at Noodle St.! I think we just don't realize the difference between noodles that were being rolled and pulled right before they are tossed in boiling water and the dried noodles that we make at home, or that other places use. This Noodle St. didn't have the same variety as the one in Fullerton, but the Beef Noodle Soup didn't disappoint, and the Fried Calamari appetizer was spicy, crunchy, and chewy, served hot and delicious.I had the Iced Peach Black Tea with my ramen, and my wife had the Passion Fruit Green Tea. Both were sweet and went great with our meal.“
“If I could eat only one meal for the rest of my life, it would be Tonkotsu ramen from HiroNori. It's perfectly creamy, comforting and delicious. Fair warning - the portion is huge, but I always end up finishing every last drop of it.I went with my 5-year-old to their Sand Canyon location today and ordered a ramen combo with salmon poke, which was the perfect portion for my kiddo. He loved everything and said we should come back here for dinner sometime.A special shout out to the staff - literally everyone is super friendly, attentive and extremely professional. This place has my heart and I'm already planning my next visit.“
“Nara Thai Kitchen, nestled in Irvine's serene Portola Parkway neighborhood, promises exquisite Thai fusion cuisine. My anticipation of savoring its flavors had been brewing for some time, yet the steep prices had previously deterred my indulgence.Today, fate intervened, and I joined my husband and a dear colleague for lunch, eager to explore the culinary offerings. Opting for the cashew nut chicken, the panang curry, and the yellow curry, we embarked on a journey of discovery as our taste buds savored each dish. Although the cashew nut chicken arrived with a milder touch than requested due to a minor slip-up, its essence remained intact. The chicken, delicately encased in a light batter, offered a delightful crunch that harmonized with the rich flavors, making every bite a pleasure to savor. The panang chicken curry, though ordered mild, surprised me with its fiery undertones, adding an unexpected kick to the dish. Yet, amidst the heat, the robust flavors of the curry shone through, leaving a lasting impression.Across the table, my friend reveled in the comforting embrace of the yellow curry, its aromatic blend of spices infusing each morsel of potato with a delectable essence. Her satisfaction echoed my own, affirming the culinary prowess of Nara Thai. However, as we reveled in the culinary delights, the reality of the bill sobered our enthusiasm. The bill for lunch at Nara Thai exceeded $100 for just three of us, including an appetizer and beverages. Despite its exceptional dining experiences, the restaurant is more suited for special occasions than casual visits. In conclusion, Nara Thai undoubtedly stands as a beacon of Thai cuisine excellence in Irvine. Its dishes tantalize the palate with flavors that leave a lasting impression. While I'd like to return, the high prices might mean I can only indulge occasionally. Financial constraints could make Nara Thai a place for special occasions rather than a regular hangout.Typically, I wouldn't consider spending $36.67 per person, excluding gratuity, for lunch, but on this occasion, I felt justified in indulging.“
“First time at the restaurant. Did not know what to expect. Looked at the menu and was rather pleasantly surprised at the robust selection. Tried the Tonkatsu Miso ramen and it was delicious. My wife had the Salmon Bento box and was pleasantly surprised. And my kids loved the Macarons for dessert. Would highly recommend and will come back again“
“My son brought ramen bowls home one rainy and now I'm hooked! We got the toro salt and toro soy sauce ramen with a bowl of pork and rice to share. The ramen bowls (the pork by the way just melted in my mouth) were the perfect comfort food for the gloomy day and the pork and rice was delish! We will definitely be getting the ramen and the rice bowls again ~ I actually can't wait!“
“The presentation of Noodle at Qin West is particularly outstanding. The cold skin here has a soft texture and a unique taste. It not only retains the traditional flavor, but also adds modern innovation. You can feel the carefully prepared sauce in every bite. It has the sourness of vinegar, the spiciness of chili oil, and the fragrance of minced garlic, perfectly balancing various flavors. In addition, the restaurant's service attitude is excellent and the environment is clean and tidy, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether you are a first timer or a seasoned fan of cold noodle soup, Qin West Noodle can provide you with an unforgettable gourmet journey.“
“Amazing staff, 10/10 food. overall amazing experience. Shoutout to our sweet server, we had just gotten rear ended and weren't even sure about going out to eat anymore but as soon as she welcomed us in she changed our entire day around. She was so awesome and attentive, especially to our 1 year old baby boy. i would drive from riverside to irvine just to experience this place again, highly recommend.“
“Extremely tasty noodle dishes - All noodle dishes we tried were really excellent. Also, the sticky rice dessert is super tasty! I agree with some of the other reviews that the staff could really try to be friendlier. However, who cares about that if the food and price are great?“
“I was recommended my a friend and absolutely love it here! The prices are very reasonable and the food quality and portions are great. The seafood salad is one of my favorites. Huuuge thick slices of tuna and salmon tataki's with a classic wafu dressing. Their unagi don is awesome too and is such a great combo with the seafood salad. The unagi is cooked to perfection and is very fresh and not super boney. Love the fact that you have the options to choose between white and brown rice! The tatsuta age (fried chicken) was great as well. Nicely seasoned and juicy! The udon they use is on the thinner side and I abosolutely loooove it. Super yummy. Also, this isn't pictured but I bought a salmon teriyaki plate to take home and I am obsessed. The salmon was sooo large and thick and the teriyaki sauce was perfect! It's takeout/eat in service at the moment and I have no complaints! Order first and then grab a table. Quick and easy.Definitely recommend!!“
“I came here for lunch and some grocery shopping at Mitsuwa. I was craving curry so I got their pork cutlet curry with some green tea. The area where you order is like a food court and they have displays of the food that they serve which are super detailed and look delicious. Ordering was simple and the cashiers were friendly. I didn't have to wait too long for my food and it was made to order. My lunch was super satisfying and filling. The katsu was crispy and cooked perfectly. The curry was flavorful but not overpowering. A great meal to have right before grocery shopping in Mitsuwa.“
“One of my top meals of 2024 so far, and this will be hard to beat! Lovely staff and the best service here. It’s closest to park near the Apple Store at the Spectrum.Started off with the Scallop crudo, this was so refreshing and delightfully spicy, and the scallops were huge too!The Squid ink uni pasta was calling my name, and this was so creamy and delicious. For rolls, we got the Sashimi roll which was my absolute favorite here, and the Volcano roll which is literally lit on fire!Had to end the perfect meal on a sweet note with winter-only seasonal Yuzu flan. Thanks for reading! ^-^“
“Have a chance to try this place since they are known for their sauerkraut fish soup noodles. Various noodles soup bases. We ordered the sauerkraut fish soup with udon noodles and the house special snoodleSoup. The house special is not bland, Milky soup with various fish fillet and fish balls. The sauerkraut fish noodles has a little kick to it. We also ordered the spider crab roll to try. Pretty decent. The place offered indoor and outdoor seating! Staff was really friendly and accommodating. Clean and quite cozy.Parking: Plenty of parking spaces in the below ground parking lot, the parking area on the ground level is difficult to find.“
“If you're craving a quick Thai dish, I'd recommend visiting Thai Street Food by George. At first, it seemed a bit sketchy when ordering online because they have you pick up at the back of the building, but don't be intimidated by that lol. Despite the location, the food is really good. I always go for the pad Thai (you can alter the spice level to your liking) because the noodles are perfectly cooked, the sauce is rich and tangy, and the balance of sweet and savory is spot on. Additionally, if you are craving something sweet, do not pass on the opportunity to order the mango sticky rice. Overall, the generous portion sizes ensure you'll leave satisfied.“
“We were looking for a trendy breakfast but accidentally drove in this plaza with several Asian restaurants open (8:30ish). We saw a couple eating outside the Kingfu Master, and decided to give a try. We tried a few items on the menu, and to our surprise, they are outstanding! We then order almost everything on the breakfast menu. My kids, wife and I appreciate the authenticity of the food they offer. The cashier is little bit unenthusiastic but gets her job done. The place is clean. Overall, a great spot for breakfast.“
“First time here, was looking for good pho spots around my work, and I’m so glad I stumbled upon this place. The pho was honestly one of the best I’ve had, the atmosphere was inviting and clean, and the workers were very friendly. 5 stars all around, will be coming back, unfortunately didn’t any pictures, but a picture of this empty bowl should say enough.“
“When you get the craving for Pho, only one thing can cure it... Pho!But not just any Pho, get the good stuff! This is definitely one of my new favorites and is very fairly priced. The broth is super tasty & they offer a generous serving size. My boyfriend & I ordered a large & small bowl, which ended up being about the same size. We placed our order over the phone & it was ready right when we arrived, 10 minutes later. When we went to pick it up, I was bummed we hadn't decided to stay to eat in! It looked like a great place to sit & eat, enjoying the ambiance. Their menu looked amazing, so I will definitely be back to try more! This time though, we had the rare steak & well-done brisket.“
“SENSATIONAL DIM SUM ! We checked out this place a few days ago...the menu looked great so we put it on our must try list. On Sunday we decided to do lunch here...the early heavy rain killed our Sunday bike ride. My wife and I rocked in at 12.40pm. It was as dead as a cracker...maybe because of the really cold rainy weather ! A kind server named Abbott looked after us the whole time. Funnily enough my wife and I ordered exactly the same items from the Dim Sum menu....STEAMED BBQ PORK BUNS & JUICY PORK DUMPLINGS. And then we both chose CRISPY SHRIMP ROLLS from the Small Bites menu. HA HA ! My wife also ordered a THAI ICED TEA. Our well spoken server Abbott brought our lunch order out one at a time so we could take time to enjoy. AND ENJOY WE DID ! Everything we ordered tasted TOP NOTCH. My wife LOVED her well made flavorsome Thai Iced Tea. Truly the most relaxing enjoyable Din Sum lunch ever. Our server Abbott was sensational. We will be back for dinner real soon !“
“We ordered Shanghai style stir-fried noodles and Shanghai style pan-fried pork buns. I highly recommended these two dishes. Both of them taste super good. My husband and I really enjoyed the authentic tastes of Shanghai cuisine. Dish portion is big and price is reasonable.“
“This location has ramen and udon. It is one of the better Japanese restaurants in this part of Orange County, but can have long wait lists. Additionally, they will only seat you if your entire party is present, so you may have other parties seated before you if any of your party takes too long to arrive.“
“Large space, few people.Servers didn't speak English, but that's not the issue. As the place is mostly online-order dependent, it suffers on the homefront.Otherwise, a fine establishment. The food was surprisingly spicy (good) and everything from the manner of service to the presentation of the food felt like a run-in from the old country.“
“Fun little spot with a twist on Mongolian BBQ where the fire-grilled foods are roasted in a rotating round. Fresh selections for veggies and meats - with noodle options or greens if preferred. Some interior seating and a few outside tables in front of their storefront if you prefer.Staff is quick with a smile and suggestions if asked. Knowledgeable group with a ready answer to most any question - even the "which is better?" Will be qualified with a couple questions of you to determine preferred tastes.Popular spot at lunchtime so either skip out of the office a bit early or be prepared to wait like the rest of us. Fast service so it's not too long of a wait.“
“I've been here several times. The food is very good. I personally like the braised pork rice bowl, The stir fry noodle with beef, and the minced beef pancake. Just make sure to choose your spiciness one ordering. I've only gotten take out so I don't know how these service inside is, but I have always dealt with the same guy at the counter and he's always been friendly. I highly recommend.“
“Comfortable dining atmosphere with a great song playlist. The porkchops and stinky tofu dishes are fantastic. Moreover, the garlic sauce is authentically delicious. Ordering in-store had a long wait time, so it's better to order online or phone ahead. Staff is great.“
