“Delicious and experience, definitely worth going in a group so you can try a few different cuts of meat. We tried the spicy miso and pork bone broth with a perfect mix of flavor and spicy.I personally love being able to try small portions of a lot of different things, so this was perfect. Wygu beef, aged Angus and short rib - delicious“
“Dining at Pho The Bowl was an exceptional experience from start to finish, earning a well-deserved five stars. The culinary journey began with their aromatic and flavor-rich pho, which was a comforting embrace in a bowl. Each ingredient was fresh, contributing to a symphony of tastes that danced harmoniously with every spoonful. Not to be overshadowed, the variety of dishes offered alongside the pho were equally remarkable, showcasing the depth of Vietnamese cuisine with vibrant flavors and impeccable presentation. What elevated our dining experience to an unforgettable level was the outstanding service, particularly from our waiter, Tommy. His attentiveness, warmth, and genuine passion for ensuring guests enjoy their meal were evident. Tommy's recommendations were spot-on, enhancing our culinary adventure with his insightful suggestions and knowledge about the menu. His enthusiasm for the food and care for the dining experience made us feel truly welcome and appreciated.Pho The Bowl not only delivers on exceptional food but also on creating a welcoming atmosphere where every diner feels valued. It's a gem that shines brightly because of its delicious cuisine and the wonderful people like Tommy who make every visit special. I highly recommend Pho The Bowl to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience that will leave a lasting impression.“
“I've been to a lot of Japanese restaurants during my time as a medical student, and this restaurant is simply the best. The price for the portion is unbeatable, and the staff is super kind. Definitely making this spot a regular stop for me.“
“Pho broth tastes great, portion is okay I'm not full after eating large. I've tried large brisket pho and chicken pho. One of the spoons still had food stuck on it...... After I put in all the veggies I noticed one slice is stale or bad jalapeno. I had to pray that God will protect me from getting sick... Imma take detox pill at home... Although I want to continue support business here I don't feel spending $22-23 after tip is really worth my money. Honestly this restaurant team need to try harder to gain more regular customers. I've eaten at so called best pho restaurants in OC and LA. Brisket pho was better than chicken though. However after experience today, I ain't coming back... I even tipped 25%... So yeah I'm not a difficult customer to satisfy. Goodluck Saigon Gem team, you guys have real potential but you guys need to listen to customers and make real lasting positive changes. I first gave 3 star but 4 stars is the maximum I can give. I'm being generous like how much I tip... Sauce bottle was sticky...“
“I love this restaurant when I am craving vegan food. I always order the Kung Pao Chicken. The food is very fresh and flavorful. I decided to try the soy chicken and vegetables and found it was almost the same as a Kung Pao Chicken, but I did not mind because it tastes so good! I highly recommend it if you are looking for a vegan restaurant.“
“Comfortable dining atmosphere with a great song playlist. The porkchops and stinky tofu dishes are fantastic. Moreover, the garlic sauce is authentically delicious. Ordering in-store had a long wait time, so it's better to order online or phone ahead. Staff is great.“
“This has become our local go-to Thai restaurant and we love recommending it to friends. They are always so welcoming to our family, great place to bring kids. We've never gone with more than 5 people, but they have a couple spots where I think you could do a larger group.Everything we've had has been good. Our go-tos are the beef pad see ew and the roasted duck curry.“
“I had the pho with rare beef slices and lean brisket. The noodles were a bit chewy for my liking and the meat was ok. My favorite part about the pho was the broth. I also had the garlic noodles with meat. The noodles tasted delicious but the meat had a weird after taste. Overall, the place was good. Def would recommend the garlic noodles.“
“Very good food. I like beef (wide thick) noodle soup, pork chop with rice, pork ears, scallion pancakes, fried wontons.Service is fast but they would try to kick customers out quickly. Not a place to hang out, just for eating.Parking is hard, very crowded.“
“Seriously the most delicious food I have ever had. Since finding this gem, I have been here almost twice a week every week for the last two months. Every time you go you will wait in line, it is that good. Customer service is sub par, but really it doesn't matter, not once you've tried the food.“
“Nice hole in the wall noodle shop in the quiet end of the shopping center. The braised noodle soup has three large and well braised pieces of beef and the broth has a nice Chinese medicine/ herbal taste to it. The dan dan noodles were just slightly above average. Would revisit.“
“This is a great little place. As soon as you walk you are greeted by a staff member, usually they're come from the kitchen because they seem to constantly be running food out to the tables. They typical Pho Soup w chicken is pretty good, and I would highly recommend the extra spare ribs! They are amazing!. Now back to the soup, like most places, the deep flavor comes from the sauces, bean sprouts, mint and of course jalapeños!.The tables are clean, and the utensils are bountiful with a tin on each table with chopsticks and such. This is a great place.“
“I ate curry pork cutlet, udon, and oyster tempura. It was fresh and delicious and the server was very friendly. In particular, since I have a child, I asked for the curry and pork cutlet to be separated, and I was grateful that my request was listened to.“
“We walked in and got seated immediately. We enjoyed all our food. The calamari was notably crispy and light and perfectly salted. The Gu Fries was cheesey and had a complimenting soy glaze the complimented the saltiness of our ramens. The service was unhurried and efficient. The vibe of the space was consistent with the theme. I tried their mandarin sorbet and it was disappointing but still a good pallet cleanser. We really enjoyed our dinner there. This continues to be our annual stop in Laguna for a late ramen.“
“The food is tasty and the portion size is very generous. We ordered the pot stickers (delicious) chicken fried noodles (generous with the noodles but skimpy on the chicken), beef noodle soup (noodles were delicious and the meat was tender) and fried rice (tasty and very generous portion size). You can scan the QR code on the table and place your order. Do not go there expecting attentive service...once they delivered our food, they never came to check on us and we had to go to the counter to ask for the check and take out boxes. I enjoyed the food so we will be back but will adjust our expectations on the type of service we will get.“
“This is my favorite spot to eat in Irvine. I love everything about this place from the amazing vegan ramen with unbelievable broth and broccolini cooked to perfection, to the above and beyond service to a public outdoor eating space (which is always lovely). They are always incredibly fast, even when they are busy, and the food is consistently amazing. I dream about the black garlic oil I use in the broth, it really elevates the ramen and I wish they bottled it. I also wish they bottled their house spicy sauce, it’s so flavorful. The edamame is always plump and delicious. The rice bowls are equally filling and scrumptious. The store seems to be getting more and more decorated which is nice to see. The manager is always friendly and the employees seem happy to be there (I love that they have a service charge and don’t pressure anyone to tip, makes me actually want to tip). Highly recommend checking out this HiroNori specifically.Vegetarian options: the vegan ramen is the best thing on the menu and everything is customizable, they also sell vegan gyoza and edamameDietary restrictions: Amazing vegan options“
“I am so hooked on the fresh noodles at Noodle St.! I think we just don't realize the difference between noodles that were being rolled and pulled right before they are tossed in boiling water and the dried noodles that we make at home, or that other places use. This Noodle St. didn't have the same variety as the one in Fullerton, but the Beef Noodle Soup didn't disappoint, and the Fried Calamari appetizer was spicy, crunchy, and chewy, served hot and delicious.I had the Iced Peach Black Tea with my ramen, and my wife had the Passion Fruit Green Tea. Both were sweet and went great with our meal.“
“First time at the restaurant. Did not know what to expect. Looked at the menu and was rather pleasantly surprised at the robust selection. Tried the Tonkatsu Miso ramen and it was delicious. My wife had the Salmon Bento box and was pleasantly surprised. And my kids loved the Macarons for dessert. Would highly recommend and will come back again“
“First time trying this sushi place and let me tell you...... if you haven't been, you're losing out. From the Japanese greeting to the cozy atmosphere and most importantly the sushi. The delicious fresh sushi was beautifully presented with attention to detail. The service was attentive and with a smile. What a treat! We will be back.“
“5 stars for everything! The service was incredibly fast, compared to other restaurants I have been to. Their popcorn lobster… it is just amazing. Exquisite. Delicious… I had a personal experience, as I hadn’t had this kind of popcorn lobster since I was 8 years old…Anyways, their sushi and miso soup were amazing. Great service, great food, would recommend. I was not paid to write this (even how much it looks like it), I just loved this place“
“Had a good experience at this restaurant today. Food, service and ambiance were good. The waitress was great and had good suggestions on what to pick. They were able to customize the food as we are vegetarians. Would definitely recommend the restaurant. Other reviews I am reading nowadays kids weren’t allowed for dinner, we however took our kids and didn’t have any issues.Vegetarian options: Can customize most items“
“Delicious food! I highly recommend the filet mignon over fried rice. Excellent fried rice! Also, I am not usually into chicken nuggets but here they are extremely crunchy, juicy and the taste of the fried batter was addictive.Very casual basic atmosphere but do not be fooled!“
“Extremely tasty noodle dishes - All noodle dishes we tried were really excellent. Also, the sticky rice dessert is super tasty! I agree with some of the other reviews that the staff could really try to be friendlier. However, who cares about that if the food and price are great?“
“Counter service. Very good quick donburi, noodles and rolls with authentic Japanese flavors. Dashi/broth is very good. Sushi is not fancy, but is quality ingredients. Service is very thoughtful and they are very quick in preparation. Highly recommended.“
“My son brought ramen bowls home one rainy and now I'm hooked! We got the toro salt and toro soy sauce ramen with a bowl of pork and rice to share. The ramen bowls (the pork by the way just melted in my mouth) were the perfect comfort food for the gloomy day and the pork and rice was delish! We will definitely be getting the ramen and the rice bowls again ~ I actually can't wait!“
“Relatively fresh and tasty, and much better than the typical Panda Express in the area. Entrees are made fresh to order. Their lunch specials available from 11 to 3 pm are the best if you are on your own. Dinner entrees are available but a little more pricey but with a lot more food (bring a friend or partner to dine). I especially like their take on Orange chicken served with Chow Mein. Doordash and to-go available.Parking: Shopping center parking. Now that storefront spots are capped for either 15 or 30 minutes only (except handicap spots), so if you are dining in, be sure to park in the broader lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Nearby storefront parking available. Single manual door. Wheelchair accessible counter.“
“I came here for lunch and some grocery shopping at Mitsuwa. I was craving curry so I got their pork cutlet curry with some green tea. The area where you order is like a food court and they have displays of the food that they serve which are super detailed and look delicious. Ordering was simple and the cashiers were friendly. I didn't have to wait too long for my food and it was made to order. My lunch was super satisfying and filling. The katsu was crispy and cooked perfectly. The curry was flavorful but not overpowering. A great meal to have right before grocery shopping in Mitsuwa.“
“I wasn't real familiar with this kind of cuisine, but definitely had a great experience. Cold appetizer was delicious as was the seafood rice. Also got the braised beef soup, which was good as well. I'm not a big fan of noodle soups per se, but this was delicious and the beef was very very tender. Seafood fried rice was maybe the best I've ever had from very light and fluffy very flavorful the chili sauce at the table made it just an amazing flavor sensation.“
“Visited Tang 190 this past weekend as we have been experiencing a few rainy days in Southern California. This place is located in a shopping center that offers plenty of parking. Tang 190 has both indoor and outdoor seating and you join the waiting list using the tablet located by their front door. They offer a variety of soups (spicy and non-spicy), rice dishes, noodle dishes and dumplings. My sister and I ordered the cabbage galbi-tang, beef cartilage soup and the dumplings to share. The cabbage galbi-tang was very well balanced and it was not very spicy; the beef cartilage soup comes in a clear broth (as it is customary in many korean restaurants for this type of soups, you add the salt to taste; Tang 190 also offers black pepper and my sister mentioned that adding the black pepper to this soup made a big difference). The dumplings were also very good, the quality of the filling and the wrapper made a big difference in this dish. They also offer a variety of side dishes (kimchi, raddish kimchi, cucumber kimchi, potato salad and stir fried fish cakes). The staff is very attentive in refilling the drinks and side dishes.Overall an amazing experience, can't wait to come back and try their other dishes.“
“One of my top meals of 2024 so far, and this will be hard to beat! Lovely staff and the best service here. It’s closest to park near the Apple Store at the Spectrum.Started off with the Scallop crudo, this was so refreshing and delightfully spicy, and the scallops were huge too!The Squid ink uni pasta was calling my name, and this was so creamy and delicious. For rolls, we got the Sashimi roll which was my absolute favorite here, and the Volcano roll which is literally lit on fire!Had to end the perfect meal on a sweet note with winter-only seasonal Yuzu flan. Thanks for reading! ^-^“
“When you get the craving for Pho, only one thing can cure it... Pho!But not just any Pho, get the good stuff! This is definitely one of my new favorites and is very fairly priced. The broth is super tasty & they offer a generous serving size. My boyfriend & I ordered a large & small bowl, which ended up being about the same size. We placed our order over the phone & it was ready right when we arrived, 10 minutes later. When we went to pick it up, I was bummed we hadn't decided to stay to eat in! It looked like a great place to sit & eat, enjoying the ambiance. Their menu looked amazing, so I will definitely be back to try more! This time though, we had the rare steak & well-done brisket.“
“We ordered Shanghai style stir-fried noodles and Shanghai style pan-fried pork buns. I highly recommended these two dishes. Both of them taste super good. My husband and I really enjoyed the authentic tastes of Shanghai cuisine. Dish portion is big and price is reasonable.“
“Note: current description of this restaurant says yakitori, but they don't have it. Menu was mainly various udons, ramen and side dishes like tempura and gyoza. Everything we ordered (ramen, Udon, gyoza, tempura, tempura roll) tasted great.“
“Fun little spot with a twist on Mongolian BBQ where the fire-grilled foods are roasted in a rotating round. Fresh selections for veggies and meats - with noodle options or greens if preferred. Some interior seating and a few outside tables in front of their storefront if you prefer.Staff is quick with a smile and suggestions if asked. Knowledgeable group with a ready answer to most any question - even the "which is better?" Will be qualified with a couple questions of you to determine preferred tastes.Popular spot at lunchtime so either skip out of the office a bit early or be prepared to wait like the rest of us. Fast service so it's not too long of a wait.“
“Relaxed atmosphere, very home like tables and chairs. Almost too relaxed. Order with the menu instead of the code in the table, the online order Numbers aren't exactly the same. I ordered an 18 expecting to get popcorn chicken and I got white rice because that's 18 on the printed menu.“
“I've been here several times. The food is very good. I personally like the braised pork rice bowl, The stir fry noodle with beef, and the minced beef pancake. Just make sure to choose your spiciness one ordering. I've only gotten take out so I don't know how these service inside is, but I have always dealt with the same guy at the counter and he's always been friendly. I highly recommend.“
“Pork banh mi was good and a decent value. I'm used to getting them way cheaper but inflation is what it is. Lunch for under 8 bucks is a win in my book.Parking: It's not actually that difficult to find parking, but once you park you basically have to walk through a planter in order to get to the restaurant. Not the restaurant's fault, just that strip mall it's in wasn't planned very well for pedestrian traffic.“
