We walked in and got seated immediately. We enjoyed all our food. The calamari was notably crispy and light and perfectly salted. The Gu Fries was cheesey and had a complimenting soy glaze the complimented the saltiness of our ramens. The service was unhurried and efficient. The vibe of the space was consistent with the theme. After our beach trip, we decided to try a local Ramen restaurant. Hi Ramen did NOT DISAPPOINT! They were pretty busy (with only 2 people working) but we were seated quickly and the food came quickly! We ordered 4 different types of ramen and they were all great! I highly recommend GU Ramen in Laguna Beach!

Awesome ramen and tapas! The noodles were nice and springy, the meat was tender, and the flavor is very rich (I got the pork belly ramen). My friend and I also shared the Ahi Tuna Tartare, which was in a nice tangy sauce that paired nicely with the crunchy rice cake its served on. The meal was satisfying and filling for a decent price.
