Ma's House Chinese Halal is located in the same shopping center as Trader Joe's. The restaurant has a cozy and modern feel with a pleasant atmosphere. The food is phenomenal, with a great selection of halal Chinese cuisine. Portions are very big and perfect, while the prices are affordable and right.
Must-try items include the famous sesame bread, which is fantastic with a crispy outside and a chewy, rich inside with plenty of green onion. The beef roll is also excellent, featuring very tender beef and so much green onion. The beef noodle soup offers a luxurious and rich broth with a slight kick, though the hand-cut noodles are noted to be very thick. Other recommended dishes are the thin sesame and green onion bread, pea shoots, sizzling pepper beef, hot and sour soup, and dumplings.
The service is generally fantastic and impeccable, with staff described as amazing and going over and above. However, there have been isolated experiences with difficult and rude service from a new staff member. The manager is noted to be great and understanding in addressing concerns. The place is clean and parking is easy. Many customers state they will definitely visit again and recommend the restaurant.
