“Had a wonderful evening out with my wife at Ironwood Cellars in Laguna Hills. We had reservations for 5:30 p.m. and arrived early. We were greeted by Joe, the manager on duty, who was very kind, professional, and welcoming. Art was our server and is amazingly gifted in customer service professionalism and overall people skills. Yes, showing the love. We started with tequilla drinks from the bar, and we each had a wedge salad. Joe sent us over a wonderful Agnolotti appetizer as well, which was more than kind. The ambiance was positive and upbeat, perfect for the evening. Sergio was also quite attentive in making sure our table was serviced properly. We ordered our entrees with my wife having the halibut dinner, and I had the famous giant meatball dish. Both meals were hot & tasty and presented well. We had a terrific time, and Art surprised us with a complimentary dessert 🍨 with berries. The restaurant is so nice and offers an outdoor patio and bar seating as well. The wine list is extensive, as are the craft beers. Highly recommended.”

It’s a simple bowl but it’s so good and I also I like that they have the salsa bar because you can add more flavor to your plate and if you like spicy you can add spicy onions, which are my favorite. “Such a beautiful hidden gem! The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, cozy, and relaxing—the perfect place to enjoy some quiet time, study, read, or simply unwind. The coffee was absolutely delicious, and the organic scones were fresh and amazing. The lovely girl working there was also so kind, welcoming, and friendly, which made the experience even better. When we realized this location was closing in 10 minutes, we were hesitant to go in because the young lady was sweeping the floor. I work in a service industry as well so I understand how 'last minute' guests can be 😉. She was quick to make eye contact with us as soon as we walked in. She also stopped cleaning right away to service us with a smile. She was friendly & patient and said we would be able to get another coupon like the one we used for my birthday if we complete a survey. “Today was first time dining here with my wife and what a surprise very nice place with very delicious food , great service and some charm to it . We were in the area shopping in Trader Joe’s and went on google maps to see if there was any food near by . Kotobuki came up and we just headed straight there . We ordered bento boxes and everything I mean everything tasted fresh and amazing. We will be back !”

“Cool bread shop, run out of a large scale bakery. Words cannot describe how great the bread is here. They sell out quick, but you can place orders ahead of time if you want something specific. But it's kinda fun to just show up and choose from what's there. I've had the sourdough, multi-grain, and baguettes which are the bomb! They do muffins and pastries as well, but I haven't had the pleasure yet. So awesome there is a local place like this to get amazing bread, right at the source! I highly recommend you do not sleep on this spot!”

And I dunno what it was this past week but I had add ons to my cold brew (cream & I paid for syrup) and literally all I got was just the cold brew. I had to ask them a few times to add to it which was a lil weird.

“This food truck is tucked in the same lot as George’s Episcopal Church. Pro tip: map the church so you don’t get lost. There are several eateries in that lot, but don’t get distracted just look for the green food truck and you’ll know you’ve found the right spot!

I came here right after my workout and ordered food to go. OMG, I had no idea the tacos were humongous! They are literally the size of my palm spread out! Jeeesuz!

I ordered three tacos:

Gobernador: I didn’t get to it until the next day, but the shrimp were so big and juicy, and that Chipotle aioli? Pure genius. I could put that on everything!
Octopus: The only one I ate fresh that day and oh my goodness, flavor explosion! The melted cheese, the seasoning, the texture… everything about it is 10/10!
Spicy Shrimp: I accidentally doubled up on shrimp tacos so I saved this one for the next day too, still delicious, still worth it.

Service can take a little while since there’s only one person taking orders and they’re cooking everything fresh in the truck, but trust me , it’s absolutely worth the wait!

Who would’ve thought a little food truck could make such a big impact? Don’t sleep on this hidden gem please come and taste the goodness for yourself!”

“Pengo Drink Station was a nice quick stop I made with my niece, and it turned out better than expected. We just wanted something cold and sweet, and the place had a lot of fun drink options to choose from, which made it easy for her to pick something she liked.

The service was fast and the staff were friendly, even with a bit of a small line. They were patient while my niece was deciding, which I appreciated. Prices were reasonable too, so it didn’t feel like an expensive treat run.

Ernesto and his son Saul and the sweet ladies wait staff are always pleasant and efficient, and the food is absolutely amazing! We haven’t had any dish which hasn’t been primo quality and exudes freshness. We discovered the quesadillas a while back with hand made corn tortillas. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! This isn’t a snooty place, it’s come as you are and be comfortable.”

“Update: Stepping back through those familiar doors feels like revisiting a classic. True to form, the coffee remains a masterclass in extraction—the Spanish latte, ordered with a lighter hand on the sweetness, struck an inspired, aromatic chord, marrying rich espresso with the warm, evocative cadence of vanilla and cinnamon.
​The pastry case, unfortunately, failed to sing the same tune. The pistachio croissant was a disappointment, lacking the crisp, shattering lamination promised by the staff and my own hopeful expectations. Instead of a fresh-baked indulgence, it bore the hallmarks of a stale day-old pastry hastily split and salvaged with a meager smear of pistachio butter. It is a lazy execution that a kitchen of this caliber should outgrow immediately.

This is a superb coffee house inspired by middle eastern flavors. It is the best coffee shop i have been to in quite a while. I tried the honey lavender latte which is simply indescribable; tastes of flowers and honey expertly blended into coffee. The Dubai chocolate cookie brought flavors of dark chocolate, pistachio cream and knafe combined into a rich decadent delight. This coffee shop is a must for any coffee lover. I will be back, thank you!”
