“Aside from there delicious little Bundt cakes, I wanted to provide a review on their customer service. When we realized this location was closing in 10 minutes, we were hesitant to go in because the young lady was sweeping the floor. I work in a service industry as well so I understand how 'last minute' guests can be 😉. She was quick to make eye contact with us as soon as we walked in. She also stopped cleaning right away to service us with a smile. She was friendly & patient and said we would be able to get another coupon like the one we used for my birthday if we complete a survey. Filling out this survey is less about the coupon but more about Carissa. Wonderful young lady with great work ethic and a warm demeanor. Great hire, Nothing Bundt Cakes Laguna Hills! “I’ve lived in OC since 1977 and enjoyed Dana Point so many times, but this was my first visit to Jack’s. Clearly, I have been missing out! We went during the 4-6pm happy hour seating; enjoying cheaper drinks and smaller portions. It seemed that everyone there was a known regular except us. We were treated just as well. The vibe is casual, but the wait staff is first class! It would be hard in OC to find better service, and we were just on the patio. Make sure to allow the bread bowl at your table. Tonight it was a garlic focaccia which alone would be a money maker and it was free! Delicious cocktails, awesome food, and we did share a chocolate brownie that ate like lava cake. So good! We’ll be back with friends many times, I’m sure of it.“

“Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Very close to the beach, close to center of everything. I personally thinks it’s more for American palate. Not for Chinese palate. But given it’s in a touristy place, I think it’s very very good Chinese food, speaking as a Chinese eater. lol.“

Enjoyed a few items off the Happy Hour Menu. $34 before tax for the Pear & Brie Skillet melt, seasoned olives, and a slice of Key Lime pie. I would pass on the skillet melt next time, did absolutely love the toasted focaccia it came with. Next time I would try the Spinach Artichoke Dip. I sat solo at the bar, several average size groups were at the other end of the bar area.“

My favorite items on the menu are Almond Croissant, Cream Broiler and Almond Cake plus all the rest of the pastry they make. “The cake had a simple appearance, and she could only write “Happy Birthday” in brown, which I found odd. I was initially a bit concerned—it was a thin, two-layer 8” cake for $50. However, the taste more than made up for it! It wasn’t overly sweet, and the strawberry filling with whipped cream frosting was absolutely delicious. I would absolutely order another cake from Bye Bye Sugar!!!👍🏾“

“We want to thank CPK for honoring Veterans today. They gave a delicious complementary supper tonight with a nice menu. The food was delicious. The staff was excellent. Service was fast. Manager thanked the veterans and gave us a handshake and a flag. He even had a table set for the missing soldiers , sailors, and Marines. Happy that everyone in restaurant was having a great time. Staff was all friendly and excellent. We eat here about ever other month. Very affordable, great pizzas and pastas“

“I feel that Moulin in Laguna Beach is a bit better than this location, but I still had a good experience here. One thing that has always disappointed me about Moulin is the size of their lattes—they're just too small. I wish they offered larger latte options on the menu. Other than that, everything was good, and I would probably come back more often if they served bigger lattes.“
