When we realized this location was closing in 10 minutes, we were hesitant to go in because the young lady was sweeping the floor. I work in a service industry as well so I understand how 'last minute' guests can be 😉. She was quick to make eye contact with us as soon as we walked in. She also stopped cleaning right away to service us with a smile. She was friendly & patient and said we would be able to get another coupon like the one we used for my birthday if we complete a survey. “Cool bread shop, run out of a large scale bakery. Words cannot describe how great the bread is here. They sell out quick, but you can place orders ahead of time if you want something specific. But it's kinda fun to just show up and choose from what's there. I've had the sourdough, multi-grain, and baguettes which are the bomb! They do muffins and pastries as well, but I haven't had the pleasure yet. So awesome there is a local place like this to get amazing bread, right at the source! I highly recommend you do not sleep on this spot!“

“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“Great spot for tasty Italian. I have a very high bar - set by my Sicilian mother. Nary a place I've been to in CA has moved me. Giana's may have changed that. Ordered the shirt rib. The meat was more cooked than my liking, but it completely over delivered: the meat was excellent in taste and flavor, the pasta silky and beautifully cooked (I'm not an al dente loser), and the sauce was superlative. The portion was large and the price very reasonable. Drink pour could be bigger, but small glasses seems to be their shtick.
But, overall, an excellent experience. Will return.“

“We stumbled across Peony Chinese Kitchen and are so glad we did- it was by far our favorite restaurant in Laguna Beach! We enjoyed our meal on the patio and had a great view of the beach. The food was excellent! Fresh ingredients, cooked well and they even accommodated a special request. The family style shrimp wonton soup was superb! Highly recommend!“

“We had a business dinner at the Loft last night and sat outside on the terrace. The food was wonderful with beautiful presentations for everything. We especially liked the sea bass, the scallops, the citrus garden salad and the vegan version of the bolognese for our vegan guest. It was delicious! The service was incredible. The servers constantly anticipating our needs before we needed to ask for anything. It reminded me what it is like to dine at a very nice restaurant! Absolutely fantastic!“

“I love the Savour Pastry shop under the new ownership. I love the quality and taste of their products tremendously. My favorite items on the menu are Almond Croissant, Cream Broiler and Almond Cake plus all the rest of the pastry they make. Enjoyed a few items off the Happy Hour Menu. $34 before tax for the Pear & Brie Skillet melt, seasoned olives, and a slice of Key Lime pie. I would pass on the skillet melt next time, did absolutely love the toasted focaccia it came with. Next time I would try the Spinach Artichoke Dip. I sat solo at the bar, several average size groups were at the other end of the bar area.“

She went out of her way to make sure that the cocktails we ordered were prepared perfectly by speaking directly to the bartender. When we asked about dinner specials we had in the past she found us those special menus and also reminded us that we could get a bottle of wine for half price on Wednesdays.. She checked with us frequently to make sure everything was perfect. She is truly an asset to the restaurant and we will always try to request her when we come back.“

“Omg! Their breakfast burrito is amazing. Came to kaiser for a doc app and was looking for donuts. Well, I now found my new breakfast burrito place. First bite melted in my mouth. The eggs are fluffy and have a great flavor. The tortilla is soft. Im not one for cheese on my food. But the cheese they use is also soft and melts right into the burrito. The salsa is a must to add onto before a bit. My new spot when I’m in the area 😍“

“I was born to eat pizza and this is by far the best I've eaten globally. From the aesthetic appearance, to the texture to the taste, it is dotted to the T.

“The burgers are great with a nice variety of sauces. Excellent service from Anakin and the crew. The shakes are great too. I definitely recommend this spot with grass fed and finished beef and they really are bringing back the great American burger.
