“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“I love the Savour Pastry shop under the new ownership. I love the quality and taste of their products tremendously. My favorite items on the menu are Almond Croissant, Cream Broiler and Almond Cake plus all the rest of the pastry they make. “Our server, Michelle T, was outstanding in every way. She remembered serving us in the past and was so welcoming and genuinely delighted to see us. She went out of her way to make sure that the cocktails we ordered were prepared perfectly by speaking directly to the bartender. When we asked about dinner specials we had in the past she found us those special menus and also reminded us that we could get a bottle of wine for half price on Wednesdays.. She checked with us frequently to make sure everything was perfect. She is truly an asset to the restaurant and we will always try to request her when we come back.“

When we realized this location was closing in 10 minutes, we were hesitant to go in because the young lady was sweeping the floor. I work in a service industry as well so I understand how 'last minute' guests can be 😉. She was quick to make eye contact with us as soon as we walked in. She also stopped cleaning right away to service us with a smile. “I was born to eat pizza and this is by far the best I've eaten globally. From the aesthetic appearance, to the texture to the taste, it is dotted to the T.

I came at lunch hour and it was a bit of a wait, but no worries should be expected. More importantly, thanks to the cooks and one's making it all possible.

“Cool bread shop, run out of a large scale bakery. Words cannot describe how great the bread is here. They sell out quick, but you can place orders ahead of time if you want something specific. But it's kinda fun to just show up and choose from what's there. I've had the sourdough, multi-grain, and baguettes which are the bomb! They do muffins and pastries as well, but I haven't had the pleasure yet. So awesome there is a local place like this to get amazing bread, right at the source! I highly recommend you do not sleep on this spot!“

Manager thanked the veterans and gave us a handshake and a flag. He even had a table set for the missing soldiers , sailors, and Marines. Happy that everyone in restaurant was having a great time. “I have been a customer since my early teens at the Los Alamitos location, and am happy to have a local location in South County as well!
As if the sweets weren’t enough to get you through the door, the pizzas are PHENOMENAL. The crust is unreal. So crispy, even after 20 min in the car. And the topping combinations are fantastic. As a Libra, having the half and half options and not having to pick just one is amazing.
Ordering online was easy, my order was ready on time, and the pizza was delicious.
The price for 2 pizzas is less than we would have spent on a night out, so it was so worth it for the quality.

“I have been coming to Ikes for years and when I found out they opened a location in Lake Forest I was so excited! I ordered online about a week ago and requested that the bun be extra extra toasted (I love the toasted french bread here). To my dismay, the bread was completely soft and soggy (not toasted at all!). I was so disappointed as this was my first time ordering from this location. I decided to come back and give it another shot! I was welcomed by Eli, and they were so incredibly helpful!! They listened to my complaint about my last order and offered to remake my sandwich with a big smile :) I was almost ready to skip this location for my future orders but Eli was absolutely amazing. He apologized for the past order and did everything to ensure my current sandwich (which he offered me as a replacement) was beyond excellence. Amazing human being and representative of Ikes Sandwiches!!“

“Been coming here since it opened and when we are visiting family in the area or passing through, this is our first choice for a place to eat! Yummy yummy and satisfying in the belly :-) We stray once in a while but consistently go with the delicious chicken lettuce warps, northern style ribs, singapore noodles, mongolian beef, salt and pepper prawns, and fried bananas with ice cream.
