“Hi. I was there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I had fish with shrimp (creole on top) . I sat in the bar & the waitress was nice but I asked her if the entry was spicy & she reassured me it was not spicy. Well, it DID have a big kick to it & I could only eat about 1/3 of it because of that. She never came back soon after she served it to ask me how it was or I would have told her it WAS spicy. Your caesar salad was DELICIOUS & I highly recommend it. And your cheesecake with raspberry topping was good too. Had a glass of wine also. Sorry but I won't be back because the entry I ordered was spicy & told it wasn't . That was disappointing.“

“One of my all time favorite places. The people and management make It like “friends” but with a really unreal grilled cheese sandwich and soup. Get the soup with the sandwich. Add bacon. That is all.“

My grass-fed steak was tender and juicy, the mac n cheese was comforting and delicious, and the side of beets paired well with the goat cheese. My husband enjoyed his crispy chicken sandwich and fries. I love the variety of food offered at Urban Plates and knowing my body is getting high quality nutrients while enjoying something delicious!

“I used to live in the area and happened to find this gem of a restaurant when visiting. The food is excellent and affordable. I had the shrimp dish with rice and paneer garlic bread. “I'm super happy that this restaurant has lived up to my expectations so far. I feel as though there are only a small amount of cons I have for this place. We have received their chips and salsa, and it is one of the best salsas I've ever had because it reminded me of Chevys' salsa but slightly sweeter. For those of you who know what place I'm talking about, it is the Chevys that used to be in Anaheim on Santa Ana Canyon Road before the restaurant El Cholo took over. Anyway, the meal I ordered was the Carnitas platter, and I liked it. As for my boyfriend he got the Green Sauce Enchilada and he thought it was okay so I decided to try it and I didn't like it at all. The reason why the enchilada didn't taste appealing to me is because it had cumin seasoning in it. I think if they removed the seasoning, the enchiladas would taste a lot better, in my opinion. Also, I almost forgot that I also had their matcha latte, which was good.The matcha latte was good because they let me make it slightly sweeter that way the matcha wouldn't be too bitter and it wasn't which I liked. 🍵For dessert, my boyfriend and I ordered the flan, and it tasted really good. I was also happy that my boyfriend enjoyed it, so we would definitely order that again. Last but not least, the customer service was great, and I'm glad there are still some people who try hard to give the best customer service. So my boyfriend and I will definitely come back for the chips and salsa and the flan.Also, a warning for people just trying this place for the first time: I recommend that you bring a smaller party since this place isn't too big. 😊“

Chef was busy still came n met vaaaa, shrimp masala n lamb chops just like in back home restaurants. Took home lot of food, not pricey at all, gonna try all items n invite more friends n coworkers. I ordered the Roasted Cauliflower and Chickpeas Bowl with added protein of grilled shrimp. It was absolutely delicious and so fresh…the shrimp was done perfectly. We also shared the cauliflower and dates appetizer. I was a little skeptical at first about the interesting combination, but they were fantastic…and addicting! I liked the overall atmosphere of the restaurant and the service was excellent too. My husband and I will be dining there tonight, and he is excited because there are several GF items he can try. I highly recommend this restaurant for their fresh and delicious foods!“

“This is a cute, small, and cozy Gelato store located in a plaza where you should come if you have a craving for something sweet or just for desserts! The interior is clean and minimal designs with few tables to sit inside and outside. Parking is free and easily accessible.

The shop offers a wide variety of very unique gelato flavors as well as sorbets which they alternate through. The gelato was creamy, not too sweet, and the flavors were all combined well. All the flavors that we tried were delicious! They even offer affogato with specific flavors of gelato.

Ordered the following:
- Melon Jasmine Tea/Tiramisu
- Ferrero Rocher/Black Sesame
- Hazelnut Milk Chocolate/Caramel
Biscoff Cheesecake
- Pistachio Affogato

The Melon Jasmine Tea was paired well and the tea did not over power (this was one of our favorites! The Tiramisu was not overly sweet and tasted more of a coffee side. The Black Sesame was not over powering and definitely a go to for black sesame lovers. Hazelnut Milk Chocolate was also a favorite!
While trying the Pistachio Affogato you can really taste the nuttiness of the pistachio! Definitely all the flavors we had were all very good!

Also the service was excellent! Really appreciate Jay's assistance as well as providing recommendations of what to try and explaining the flavors to us.

Definitely will come back and try the other flavors that were not on rotation that day. Missed out on the Matcha and Jasmine Matcha flavors!“

“We liked this place and I definitely want to come back. Their yogurt is tastes fresh and delicious, like thick homemade yogurt. There are many different smoothies made with it. We tried dragon fruit yogurt smoothie and melon green tea. I liked that they use real fresh or frozen fruits to make it. And it was fun to see a cute robot bringing food to our table!“
