Food was delicious. Tables are just a tad too close for my liking. Service was rocky at first due to our reservation being given away without reasoning, but the servers made up for it with their attentiveness and smiles. Would definitely recommend and return.
First off …THE BEAN DIP. I dream about it and crave it so much! Addicting, and the best nacho bean dip in OC, hands down. I always have a great experience here, I’m so glad to live close to it. Food, Service and Mezcal, are always on point. Bravo, Carmelita’s!

Hands-down the absolute BEST Mexican food I have ever eaten!! We had the short ribs enchilada, the chicken nachos and a chimichanga. Cooked to perfection--even the chips are to live for!! We ate outside and watched the sunset while I sipped on a Corona Lite with lime. Service was superb. We will definitely return soon!
