“I’ve been to Wigs Sandwiches a few times during my trip to Laguna Beach, and it was absolutely amazing. Easily the best sandwich I’ve had in years. Anyone visiting Laguna Beach should make a point to stop here.

I tried both the roast beef and the Italian on separate visits, and they were outstanding. My wife ordered the vegan sandwich, and she loved it as well. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

Whether you’re looking for lunch or a casual dinner, Wigs is a fantastic choice. We enjoyed it so much that it became one of our regular stops during our stay. Don’t hesitate—if you’re in Laguna Beach, grab a sandwich from Wigs. You won’t regret it!“

“Excellent food and service. Great wines and selection of beers and cocktails. Pleasant outdoor seating available. They do have parking but a little difficult to find on this very busy street. Highly recommend the meatballs. Ask if the off-menu items listed on the website are available. The peaches and pears salad as well as the pork loin were both delicious. We hope to return.“

“I use to go to RH with my family in the 70's. Atmosphere always transported us to Hawaii. They were famous for BB ribs, drinks, unique salad (with mayo dressing) and even served a bowl of crudite' with celery, salami, etc. every meal. I didn't like the modern re model, however, NOW THIS RE BUILD iS so cool! Just like the 1970's but better!! Dim lit and Hawaiian music set the mood. I was really anxious to try the ribs again. The service was GREAT appetizer excellent but, ribs, BAD! They were not edible. Hard and chewy, like beef jerky. I was so disappointed and all of our party ordered and received the same. I may try again but won't order ribs!!!“

“The Lumberyard located in beautiful downtown Laguna Beach is a great place to have lunch or dinner. There is a new $16 lunch menu and I decided to try the fish tacos. There was a choice between salmon or halibut for the tacos which included shredded cabbage with a pink cream sauce and a side of black bean and corn salad. I chose the halibut for my taco and it was cooked perfectly. It was a generous portion of fish in each of the tacos so it could easily be split with a friend. The service was excellent. Our orders were taken within about five minutes of sitting down and the food came out quickly after we ordered. I would recommend the Lumberyard if you are visiting Laguna Beach. You will need to have reservations during the Art Festivals or when there is a play at the Playhouse.“

“South Swell is the TRUTH. It’s embarrassing how many times I’ve stopped here when I’m in Laguna. The ice cream is so good, but also the people that work here actually have brains. And like, good attitudes. I swear that does not exist in your normal ice cream/fast service type places these days. It might be “expensive” but I would gladly pay double what they charge just to have their good ice cream, served by the people they have working there that actually acknowledge you and are generally pleasant. But make no mistake, you need to add an extra mile to that run in the morning to make up for this sweet treat haha“

This Finneys location is particularly enjoyable, being one of the only 'watering holes' in Laguna, comprised of 30% locals every night.

They have great bar tenders overall, however there is high turnover. You'll be lucky if Kelsie is at the bar to serve you. The group of locals that rack it up 6-7 days a week were extremely disappointed to learn that she is temporarily only working 1 day per week. She contributed greatly to building the community here and its unfortunate that I won't be seeing as many locals as a result.“

The cabbage in the burrito gives it that crunch and the salsa is so flavorful. The steak was delicious too! I added beans and no rice for maximum flavor!!!“

Their communication was clear and they helped me make such a delicious poke bowl! We need more customer service and kindness like this person—they made me feel welcomed. While I enjoy most of the entrées on the menu, my favorite is the bone-in filet—super yummy! The owners and staff are always on duty and aim to please, making you feel like family. The ambiance is great too, whether you choose to sit indoors or outdoors. For a more intimate setting, sitting indoors is perfect, but if you want to enjoy the fresh ocean breeze, the outdoor patio is the way to go.“
