“I’ve been to Wigs Sandwiches a few times during my trip to Laguna Beach, and it was absolutely amazing. Easily the best sandwich I’ve had in years. Anyone visiting Laguna Beach should make a point to stop here.

I tried both the roast beef and the Italian on separate visits, and they were outstanding. My wife ordered the vegan sandwich, and she loved it as well. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

Whether you’re looking for lunch or a casual dinner, Wigs is a fantastic choice. We enjoyed it so much that it became one of our regular stops during our stay. Don’t hesitate—if you’re in Laguna Beach, grab a sandwich from Wigs. You won’t regret it!“

“We didnt have a reservation but got lucky we only had to wait 10 ish minutes and they called us. We really love the pizzas here and get the mushroom pizza with the spicy pepperoni (its both called something different on the menu but thats essentially what it is) and love to pair it off with nice wine selections.
It is mostly high top seating which isnt my favorite but its fine. It is sort of cramped in there but had space enough to get by tables. Its also kind of loud in there but from general speaking noise.“

“I use to go to RH with my family in the 70's. Atmosphere always transported us to Hawaii. They were famous for BB ribs, drinks, unique salad (with mayo dressing) and even served a bowl of crudite' with celery, salami, etc. every meal. I didn't like the modern re model, however, NOW THIS RE BUILD iS so cool! Just like the 1970's but better!! Dim lit and Hawaiian music set the mood. I was really anxious to try the ribs again. The service was GREAT appetizer excellent but, ribs, BAD! They were not edible. Hard and chewy, like beef jerky. I was so disappointed and all of our party ordered and received the same. I may try again but won't order ribs!!!“

“The Lumberyard located in beautiful downtown Laguna Beach is a great place to have lunch or dinner. There is a new $16 lunch menu and I decided to try the fish tacos. There was a choice between salmon or halibut for the tacos which included shredded cabbage with a pink cream sauce and a side of black bean and corn salad. I chose the halibut for my taco and it was cooked perfectly. It was a generous portion of fish in each of the tacos so it could easily be split with a friend. The service was excellent. Our orders were taken within about five minutes of sitting down and the food came out quickly after we ordered. I would recommend the Lumberyard if you are visiting Laguna Beach. You will need to have reservations during the Art Festivals or when there is a play at the Playhouse.“

This Finneys location is particularly enjoyable, being one of the only 'watering holes' in Laguna, comprised of 30% locals every night.

They have great bar tenders overall, however there is high turnover. You'll be lucky if Kelsie is at the bar to serve you. The group of locals that rack it up 6-7 days a week were extremely disappointed to learn that she is temporarily only working 1 day per week. She contributed greatly to building the community here and its unfortunate that I won't be seeing as many locals as a result.“

“Quick and fresh. Loved our burritos. Seems to be more of a take out place. There’s two tables out front, one of which we were able to snag to chow down before heading to our appointment in town. The cabbage in the burrito gives it that crunch and the salsa is so flavorful. The steak was delicious too! I added beans and no rice for maximum flavor!!!“

“This place is tasty. Very sugary sweet treats, but yummy. We ordered one bar and one soft serve type, but the soft serve is a way better base. The girls working the ice cream shop were young, but attentive. But, they had no AC in the shop which was really brutal with our hot summer. I asked one of the girls about the heat and she said the AC broke. But, you're in Laguna Beach, charging top dollar, have a busy flow of people non-stop and have ice cream and workers that need to be supported with cooler conditions. I hope the owners chopse to address the cooling conditions.“

The fish quality is noticeably above the average Coast Highway sushi stop — thick cuts, proper temperature, buttery texture that tells you it's fresh. The black cod preparation is a standout. Doubles as takeout if you want to eat on the beach across the street. One of those spots that quietly outperforms its profile.“

“Hi I dined here earlier today in the afternoon, Megan was my waitress she was very attentive, friendly, everything was great, I ordered their fish & chips, salmon with mashed potatoes, broccoli & carrots with iced water, my food was delicious, nice atmosphere it’s been a while since I’ve been to Hennessey’s Tavern since I usually go to the location in Seal Beach on Main Street. Nice service too.“
