I personally have never eaten a place like this before so it was an experience in itself. Food was good! Plenty of options. Shout out to Rafael our server! “My wife's and I favorite spot in all Laguna, we've been to all the bars, taverns n this saloon by far is THEE BEST...every year we make it a must stop spot.....I'm a photographer at heart and this classic saloon is AWSOME, the coziness, ceiling n decor, flooring, masonry and the patina bar. Nothing else comes close.“

“Fantastic experience. Enjoyed the tasting menu with pairing. Our server, Carson, was attentive, professional and very knowledgeable. The food was creative, and we enjoyed it very much, especially the scallop and bisque. Ahi tuna could've been a bit more tender, but flavor profile was superb. The crashing waves at our balcony table made for a very entertaining night! Loved it snd will come again.“

This Finneys location is particularly enjoyable, being one of the only 'watering holes' in Laguna, comprised of 30% locals every night.

They have great bar tenders overall, however there is high turnover. You'll be lucky if Kelsie is at the bar to serve you. The group of locals that rack it up 6-7 days a week were extremely disappointed to learn that she is temporarily only working 1 day per week. She contributed greatly to building the community here and its unfortunate that I won't be seeing as many locals as a result.“

“Our dinner at Harvest at the Ranch was exceptional from the moment we walked in until the moment we left.

The experience started at the bar with Carlos, who took the time to let me taste a wine I thought I wanted before gently steering me toward a Chardonnay, knowing I’m typically a Chardonnay drinker. He was absolutely right—it was delicious and set the tone for the rest of the evening.

Even though we hadn’t reserved an outdoor table, one became available within minutes, and we were able to enjoy one of the most beautiful views imaginable.

Our server, Crews, was outstanding. His knowledge of both the menu and the property made the evening so much more enjoyable. Every recommendation was spot on, and when we ordered something he suspected we wouldn’t love, he was already prepared with an alternative that ended up being even better. He never steered us wrong.

Sal, the sommelier, stopped by our table and completely elevated the experience. He shared fascinating stories about the wines in a way that was entertaining for everyone at the table. Even our 15-year-old son was completely engaged, which says a lot!

Irvin, our busser, was equally impressive. He was attentive without ever being intrusive. When a piece of silverware accidentally hit the ground, he seemed to appear out of nowhere with a replacement before we even had to ask.

Between the incredible food, breathtaking setting, and one of the best service teams we’ve experienced anywhere, this was a truly memorable evening. Hospitality like this is rare, and every member of the team made us feel genuinely cared for. We can’t wait to come back.“

“The atmosphere is a wonderful and relaxing change from the high tech look of too many restaurants today. It's softly lit and comforting. The food is excellent. The branzino was cooked perfectly, the side dish of french lentils was a treat and the apple pie delicious. It's a treasure.“

“It’s a decent bar with reasonably priced food, but I found the final bill a bit steep once the service charge was added. That said, it’s actually quite standard for the area, after all, this is Laguna Beach. There’s an art gallery next door.“

“Very long wait times. Terrible customer service and overall, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life. The waiter messed up our order and argued with my wife about how he did not mess up the order and continued to argue with my wife, which further upset me and my parents. I asked the waiter to leave and requested to speak with the manager. I had explained everything to the manager and told the manager that because the food came out wrong and the waiter argued with my wife, that it was time to go because the waiter ruined our meal and our experience. After paying for 3 meals that we did not eat, the restaurant manager was extremely rude, told us to leave, and to never come back. We left very angry and upset. This restaurant ruined our entire afternoon. I do not recommend this restaurant because of the terrible customer service. If you make a mistake, own it, and make it right. Not the case here, they just want your money and send you on your way as fast as possible. If you’re looking for a nice dining experience there are far better options than this place.“

“I have been going to this hotel since the 1980s. It’s the best. My husband and I spent three new years eves there. We usually stay a week. Love it.
