“I have frequented the locally world famous Muggs Away for over 30 years now.I say world famous because Ripley's Believe It or Not once came during the annual Mooning of the Amtrak, to see what the mooning was all about. “Excellent Food and Service with a Smile. Bailey, who manages the front of the house is very accomodating and approachable. For example, restaurants have reasons that substitutions are not usually accepted, however when they are willing to forgo their policies in consideration of specific issues, in this case medical reasons, it shows they have a heart and are not just corporate shmorporate. Even though Hendrix is owned by a restaurant group they function more like a family restaurant, offering a unique set of restaurants with diverse, chef driven cuisines all of which use the highest quality ingredients, local artisanal products usually found in large city restaurants think San Francisco or Miami restaurants.Fortunately, Hendrix is not a national chain and this remains one of the reasons that I really like the staff here...they are treated like people rather than disposable assets (Cheesecake Factory anyone)..When it starts with good people from the top down, it functions more like a family restaurant which I promise is much more desirable to clients and less and less common these days. Kudos to the staff at Hendrix, where even late at night, when the shift ends in 15 mind... Great food is a reason to pick a restaurant but Professional Service is the reason people come back. “The food here is quite good. Unfortunately the music is so loud you can’t have a dinner conversation or hear anything the server is asking you. Stopped in the other night for dinner and had to leave before we ordered because the band was so loud. The new band area is great but try repositioning the speakers and take the volume down a notch during dinner dining hours.“
“My second time here and have to say the first time here wasn't a good experience food wise it was really salty but I figured it was just a bad night. 2nd time around was a complete opposite my wife and I got the Filet Mignon and was perfectly cooked mash potatoes were also a good choice I really liked the place and vibe will definitely return as the service was excellent.“
“We celebrated my daughters 20th birthday. The service was amazing. Karcher our waiter was amazing, he was so attentive, explained the menu to us and had some amazing suggestions as well. Everything we ordered from appetizers to the desserts were amazing. Karcher was so thoughtful that upon us mentioning it was my daughters birthday he went above and beyond and brought her dessert with a birthday candle. Thank you so much.. El Vaquero was also a favorite. the drinks were yummy from the Strawberry lemonade, cokes, to the corona and the red wine to my favorite the cucumber margarita. :) The setting and the atmosphere was amazing.“
“First time going to this establishment I'm local I reserved for my anniversary they were really friendly was greeted at front sat down promptly waiter and staff was very attentive and friendly owner or manager was very friendly they gave us a free desert because it was our anniversary and thanked us for celebrating it in there establishment food was delicious had the chefs choice seafood and meat both very delicious my compliments to the chef ambient was nice very full but you are able to have a good conversation with your partner overall recommend this place to anyone also prices were good you get good value for your money.“
“Overall experience was great- our waiter was not overly attentive once he found out we would not be drinking and felt frustrated that we were not ready to order immediately once our final party member arrived. The food was really good and it was a bit noisy initially but quieted a bit as dinner went on.“
“We love Ironwood and frequent it regularly. One of the draws is Coty. An energetic, sweet, fun and always smiling manager. We will give the new guy a chance .... But I just can't see him being a positive addition. We tried to engage him last night ..but he just lacks the personality for a restaurant with so many young and energetic employees. Time will tell.“
“My family and I have been coming to peppinoes and then here for over 20 hours and I can't tell you enough how amazing the food is and how amazing the owners are! I get the pasta fajole soup and it always makes me better when I'm sick and or when I'm in any type of pain. It's my miracle soup. Now that I am keto they make it for me without the pasta so I can still enjoy my favorite stuff. My daughter loves the Alfredo pizza and everything is homemade and so fresh! I love love this place and you won't be disappointed. What are you waiting for go put in an order, I know I am! ? ?????“
“We first discovered this place in San Diego and now we go here for breakfast every time we get the chance. We love eggs Benedict and they have some original twists on it, and even an option to get two smaller portions of different varieties which is what we like to do. The kids loved the French toast and their hot chocolate is excellent. We don’t drink coffee or alcohol so I can’t comment on that but we try the hot chocolate every where we go and theirs is so good, especially with the cinnamon they add. I don’t think you’d go wrong with any of their menu items.“
