A uniquely delicious experience:
Actually ended up here by accident trying to find dinner at the downstairs tiki pub. Were swept off our feet by an intimate and well tailored japanese fishing/90’s citypop culture vibe, insanely good cocktails and the best sushi I’ve ever had. A bit more expensive, but I’d recommend this over its downstairs neighbor.

Momoku No Usagi in San Clemente is one of those places you can’t wait to tell friends about. The sushi is fresh, beautiful, and seriously delicious, the cocktails are well crafted and addictive, and the team makes you feel instantly welcome. Its cozy “speakeasushi” vibe makes it perfect for casual nights or special celebrations.

The wagyu nigiri sells out fast, and the handrolls are amazing, though some find the portions small. The cocktails, like the "Kick Out The Jams," are some of the best in Orange County. The staff and owner take pride in their drinks and service, making it a favorite spot for many. Parking can be tricky, but the friendly atmosphere makes up for it.
