“I've had takeout from this sushi restaurant in San Clemente multiple times, and it never fails to surpass my expectations. The sushi and sashimi quality is outstanding—arguably the best in town. If you are a real sushi fan and appreciate quality sashimi and nigiri I Highly recommended this place if you are craving in San Clemente. Not to many other options for this around here.“

“This is my husband and I's favorite poke place ever. We've tried a ton of places throughout OC and on the east coast & this place is definitely the best. The family that runs it is always very nice when we come in and the food always tastes fresh. “We got into Dana Point to our hotel and wanted to go eat. There were two choices there near the hotel, a Mexican restaurant and a sushi restaurant. We chose this sushi restaurant and did not regret our choice. They had a very diverse menu, which made me want to try a couple things on it. My wife had Chicken Teriyaki and I enjoyed three items. I started with an Uni shooter with aquails egg.egg, then had the 5 piece Nigiri. Both were spectacular. Then had the Katana roll by our server’s recommendation. The atmosphere of the servers and the food was well worth going to it in the price wasn’t too bad.“

There are only a couple of tables inside and out the restaurant and they will bring the food to your table if you are dining in. It is family owned and you often see Father, Mother, and Daughter working behind the counter. But every time I've eaten here, I've been very pleased with the food and service.“

My sister and I became big fans of onigiri when visiting Japan, and ONIGURU did not disappoint.
Visited last Sunday and ordered a variety of onigiri; they were all delightful.
They were delicious and refreshingly fresh. In addition, the service was fast and extremely friendly.
The lady that helped us was a pleasure and made our visit more special.
