I do not believe you will find a better sushi place in Dana Point. Although technically based in Capistrano Beach, Good Choice Sushi by the Sea overlooks the Pacific Ocean and Dana Point harbor. With outdoor seating and friendly service, this is the best place to grab happy hour, celebrate special occasions, and enjoy a nice dinner. I eat a lot of bougie sushi, and this place came as a complete surprise in terms of quality, presentation, and service. You absolutely need to make a stop into this place if you're looking for real sushi. If you eat a lot of sushi, you know what I'm talking about. Server Marina made this a super enjoyable experience. Sushi chefs know what they're doing. Not from the area, but I'm coming back for sure

Yoshi was our server, and she was extremely nice to our large party that consisted of a bunch of wild kids. This past Friday night. The food was excellent. Enjoyed the sunset. Next time, Yoshi needs to have some saki with us. We'll be back!
