I cannot recommend Honsan Sushi enough! They use all wild caught fish, get constant fresh seafood, and are always busy! It’s very small on the inside but the tickets for to-go orders are miles long! It is a family owned restaurant and they take pride in all they do. I’m happy to support this family and always crave their sushi rolls— they really are the BEST around!
This is hands down the best sushi place around. I love sushi and I've tried all the "best of OC" and I still drive out of my way to go here.I've eaten inside (pretty small, only a few tables) and I've gotten platters and plates to go.My favorite is the kamikaze roll. It has black rice and it is unbelievably great. Also, the tempura sauce is amazing. Went for a lunch date with my son. It's a small place and the sushi is amazing. It's was so good. The specialty rolls are amazing. My son has an allergy to shrimp and they overheard us and offerd to make the roll we were looking at with no shrimp. We will definitely be back.
